Disney+ Reveals 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Season 2 Official Teaser Trailer
Disney+has officially unveiled the highly anticipated teaser trailer forPercy Jackson and the OlympiansSeason 2, offering fans a thrilling first glimpse into Percy's next perilous adventure. The footage confirms the beloved demigod trio will be heading into the treacherous Sea of Monsters, with the new season set to premiere on December 10, 2025.
Season 2 will faithfully adapt Rick Riordan's second novel in the series,The Sea of Monsters. The official synopsis reveals that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later, only to find his world in disarray. His friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is evolving, he learns he has a Cyclops for a brother, Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and Camp Half-Blood itself is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy's urgent quest to set things right will lead him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon as he races to find the Golden Fleece.
The core trio of Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase), and Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood) are all confirmed to return. The teaser trailer hints at the emotional and physical challenges they'll face, with dialogue like Dionysus (Jason Mantzoukas) quipping, 'We all know that last year you did something cool, but honestly, I don't even remember what it was. We're headed into the Sea of Monsters. You sure you're okay to do this?'
New cast members joining the quest include Daniel Diemer as Percy's Cyclops half-brother Tyson, Timothy Simons as Tantalus, the cruel interim director at Camp Half-Blood, and the Gray Sisters – Sandra Bernhard (Anger), Kristen Schaal (Tempest), and Margaret Cho (Wasp). Gabby Windey, the former Bachelorette co-lead who won season three of The Traitors, has been tapped to host Hulu's Love Overboard reality dating series from Alex Cooper's Unwell Productions and Jeff Jenkins Productions. ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Sets Season 2 Premiere, Casts Fan-Favorite Roles for Season 3
Camp Half-Blood relocated to San Diego Thursday, bringing a slew of announcements about Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The cast and showrunners of the Disney+ series appeared at Comic-Con for a panel that included news about the coming second season, as well as a key piece of casting for season three, which the streamer ordered shortly after filming on season two wrapped earlier in the year. The session also featured the debut of a teaser trailer for the coming season, including the first look at Daniel Diemer as Tyson, the cyclops who befriends Percy (Walker Scobell), and a very brief glimpse at a chariot race at camp. It's going to be a sequence that blows you guys away because it blew me away.'
