TV star Coleen Nolan has opened up about her daughter Ciara Fensome's pregnancy. The Loose Women panelist has addressed the news today after her youngest child announced that she's pregnant over the weekend.
Ciara, 24, revealed on Saturday that she's expecting a baby with her fiancé Maxx Innes, a year on from the news of their engagement. She announced the pregnancy on Instagram alongside a photo of herself cradling her baby bump on a beach whilst on holiday on Rhodes with Coleen, 60.
Coleen's eldest children Shane Nolan, 36, and Jake Roche, 32 - whom she shares with her first husband Shane Richie, 61 - are already parents. She's now addressed preparing to welcome another grandchild into the family when her daughter Ciara, whose father is Ray Fensome, gives birth.
She spoke about the news on Loose Women this afternoon. Coleen announced on the ITV show: "My daughter Ciara is expecting. So it'll be my third grandchild." She revealed that Ciara is already in her second trimester of the pregnancy.
Coleen also shared that she has known for some time but had been keeping the news quiet. Amid discussion with her co-stars, she said: "We've known for ages, but we've been trying ... y'know they like to keep it all secret until it's y'know."
She said that Ciara is looking forward to welcoming the new arrival into the family but is also "scared". Coleen added that she's been teased herself over potential babysitting duties and is already planning a nursery at her home.
Coleen said: "She's so excited. She's really scared and really worried, and she just keeps saying 'I mean you'll have it most of the time' and I'm like 'not sure that's in the contract'. But anyway, I will ... I'm already planning the nursery."
Further teasing over her plans, she told the other panelists on the show earlier: "When all my grandkids are there, I'm gonna have a room for them all. Y'know when they come and stay." She went on to excitedly add: "I love it!"
Coleen has since posted about Ciara's pregnancy on Instagram. She wrote about the news alongside a photo of them together, seemingly from their recent trip to Rhodes. It showed them stood together as Ciara cradled her bump.
In the caption, Coleen teased to her followers this afternoon that she can't believe her youngest child Ciara is pregnant. She wrote on the platform: "I'm going to be a nanny for the 3rd time!! I can't believe my baby is having a baby!"
Coleen concluded by congratulating her daughter and future son-in-law over the news that they are expecting a baby. She wrote: "Congratulations to my beautiful daughter Ciara and her fiancé Max, over the moon for you both."
The singer tagged Ciara, who later shared it on her own account, in the post. Coleen also included Billie Eilish 's song What Was I Made For? - which featured on soundtrack of the film Barbie - in her post about her daughter's pregnancy.

Former Love Island star turned influencer Molly-Mae Hague is mum to Bambi Fury, who she shares with her boxer boyfriend Tommy Fury, after the pair met on the ITV2 reality show Molly-Mae Hague has made a "scary" parenting admission as she opens up about her rollercoaster confidence. The mum-of-one took to her Instagram page where she asked her followers to send in their questions. One fan asked: "How are you finding motherhood?" Molly then shared a lengthy response where she detailed how she's been coping with looking after her daughter Bambi recently. I find how I feel about "motherhood" a really complex subject - also because it changes so regularly. Molly then went on to speak about how motherhood can impact her confidence sometimes. She added: "My confidence has been all over the place with Bambi recently to be quite honest. "I had my first day with her completely alone yesterday for about a week (since Zoe and Danny moved in, we've rarely been along which has been so lovely)... but I was genuinely so so anxious because I just didn't know how I was going to handle the tantrums and defiance alone. "That's kind of scary to admit I was anxious to take care of my own daughter? It's just the truth. My best friend constantly tells me that Bambi feels my energy and I have to try not get stressed/be calm... but sometimes even when I do my best to be super super calm/positive/the best mum I can be - she still isn't happy?" The star then went on to explain that she doesn't "know how to handle it" when it comes to Bambi having tantrums sometimes. Molly finished off her post by explaining that she doesn't think she is ready to have another baby yet. She said: "I was speaking to a gorgeous mum yesterday about it and she was saying she totally understood and then followed it up with 'and then you go on to have three more kids because you forget'... then I sat back and thought ok maybe we aren't feeling the same? "Because I know there's just not a world in which I would have another baby right now... or maybe there is one day. I just don't know." Molly gave birth to her daughter Bambi back in January 2023. She has since been sharing updates of motherhood and Bambi growing up. She shares her daughter with her boyfriend Tommy Fury after the couple met on Love Island. The two of them split last year but recently announced that they were back together.

ITV Coronation Street issues ‘be vigilant' warning to soap fans using social med
Coronation Street has issued warnings to fans in a social media statement. It has become known to people behind the scenes at the soap that fans are falling victim to another type of scam. Back at the start of this year, both Corrie and Emmerdale accounts shared on social media platform X that scammers were pretending to be stars from the shows. The statement said: 'Please be aware that actors from both Coronation Street and Emmerdale are currently being impersonated by scammers across all social media platforms. 'No cast member will ever directly request money for messages, meetings or any kind of personal interaction on social media. 'We are aware these sophisticated impersonations can include deep-fake footage (where it appears to be the actor talking but isn't) and personal messages which seem to be realistic and in character. We urge everybody to be vigilant. Please report any concerns to the relevant platform.' They concluded: 'The legitimate way of meeting with real members of the cast is via official 'meet and greet' events run by ITV Star Tours.' This time, audience members are being targeted by con artists pretending to be from the Coronation Street casting department – claiming to offer them a part in their favourite soap. Metro understands that fans of Emmerdale have been approached too. To warn people about the cruel trick, the Corrie X account once again shared a message online, this time saying: 'We are aware that there are some accounts impersonating the Casting department at Coronation Street on social media platforms. 'Our Casting team only uses official methods of communication, this does not involve direct messages on Twitter or any other social media. 'Please be careful when communicating online and report any concerns to the relevant platform.' This comes after Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley told her fans not to believe AI bots pretending to be her online. The actress, 48, is best known for her role as Mandy Dingle, said on Instagram: 'Hello everybody, it's Lisa here. Now, I have to keep reiterating this, please, and please listen.' 'If something is not on my page – and my page is blue-ticked – then it is not real,' she stated, referencing the social media network's notable person verification system.
