Kolkata, Jul 29 (PTI) FPSB India and the Bharat Chamber of Commerce (BCC) signed an agreement on Tuesday to promote financial planning awareness and professional education across institutions in the country.
The agreement, signed in Kolkata by FPSB India CEO Krishan Mishra and BCC Secretary General Keka Sharma, aims to expand access to the globally recognised certified financial planning (CFP) certification and encourage career opportunities in financial planning, a statement said.

KP Energy Q1 net profit rises nearly 40 pc to Rs 25.42 cr

New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) KP Energy on Tuesday said it has posted a nearly 40 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 25.42 crore in the June quarter compared to a year ago, mainly on the back of higher revenues. 'The company has recorded its highest-ever Q1 Profit After Tax (PAT) on a consolidated basis for Q1FY26 at Rs 25.42 crore in comparison to that for Q1FY25 at Rs 18.21 crore," a statement said. It has reported a total income on a consolidated basis of Rs 220.60 crore in the first quarter of FY26, marking a significant growth of 63 per cent compared to Rs 135.21 crore in the year-ago period. The total income on a consolidated basis for this quarter has been the highest ever Q1 total income, the company said. The board has approved an interim dividend at 4 per cent, i.e. 20 paise per equity share having a face value of Rs 5 each for financial year 2025-26. Aster DM Healthcare to set up Rs 580-cr multi-specialty hospital in Bengaluru

Agency: Bengaluru, Aug 5 (PTI) Aster DM Healthcare on Tuesday announced an investment of Rs 580 crore to set up a state-of-the-art, 500-bed multi-specialty hospital in Yeshwanthpur. The upcoming facility will be the company's fifth hospital in the city, taking Aster's total bed capacity in Bengaluru to 2,580, according to Dr Azad Moopen, founder and chairman, Aster DM Healthcare. The hospital is expected to become operational in the second half of FY 2028-29, the company said in a press release. 'This new hospital reflects our asset-light expansion strategy, leveraging Built-to-Suit models to deliver world-class healthcare infrastructure in high-demand corridors while maintaining capital efficiency," Dr Moopen added.
