Hardik Pandya celebrates the first anniversary of India's T20 World Cup win against South Africa with a heartfelt message.
Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya on Sunday, June 29, posted a heartfelt message on his social media handles, reminiscing and celebrating the first anniversary of India's T20 World Cup win in Barbados against South Africa, in which he played a major part.
Pandya was in then-skipper Rohit Sharma's arms as they got to share a national win after years of success with the Mumbai Indians, but just heartbreak in the national jersey.
Needing to defend 16 runs off the last over, Pandya kept his calm and held on to his nerves to take India to a big win.
'A day I'll never forget. A day we'll never forget. For all of us, India 🇮🇳❤️," Pandya tweeted on Sunday morning. Watch the video here:

'I always manifested myself bowling the last over or hitting the last runs of the World Cup-winning play. The six-seven months I had before that, really proud of how I was able to stand up," Pandya was seen saying in the video.
Rohit also posted a lovely message on Instagram on India's triumph. With the reactions to memories and crucial moments from that historic game against South Africa coming through thick and fast for a date that holds so much meaning for multiple of these cricketers, Rohit posted a sentimental video on his Instagram account.
'This trophy, of course, means a lot for us, but it's for the entire nation," Rohit was seen saying in the video.
'A day etched in our memory forever," the opening visual said.
Rohit, ace India batter Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja retired from T20Is after the win. Suryakumar Yadav is all set to lead India in the T20 World Cup that will be played next year at home and will be co-hosted by Sri Lanka.

Are Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon QB Luke Moga dating? Viral burger date fuels speculation

Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon quarterback Luke Moga sparked dating rumors (Images via Getty Images & IG) College football just collided with pop stardom—and it's not because of a touchdown. Sabrina Carpenter , the chart-topping singer currently dominating headlines for her bold performances and empowering messages, is now at the center of a budding dating rumor with Oregon quarterback Luke Moga. The pair were recently spotted sharing a casual meal in Eugene, Oregon, and it didn't take long for the photo to explode across social media. Pop star meets rising QB: Viral burger outing fuels unlikely romance buzz The unexpected pairing— Sabrina Carpenter in her pink pop prime and Luke Moga, a redshirt freshman who has yet to take a college snap—has sent fans into a frenzy. While neither party has confirmed anything romantic, the internet is doing what it does best: fueling the speculation with memes, jokes, and full-blown shipping. And it wasn't just fans who chimed in. Cleveland Browns rookie Dillon Gabriel, who previously played at Oregon, threw fuel on the fire with a playful Instagram story after the viral burger date. Sharing the image, he wrote: 'Hard launch bro! Happy for you guys.' The cheeky remark instantly sparked even more buzz, with Ducks fans declaring Moga 'QB1'—not just on the field, but in the dating game too. Gabriel's comment may have been in jest, but it amplified the attention Moga is receiving both as a potential starter and as a rising social media personality. For a quarterback who hasn't even made his collegiate debut, being linked to Sabrina Carpenter is the kind of PR that can elevate a brand overnight. Moga is far from just a viral sensation. The dual-threat quarterback threw for nearly 1,900 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior year of high school, while rushing for over 650 yards and 12 touchdowns. Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has praised the depth in his quarterback room, and now with Moga gaining national attention, that spotlight only intensifies. Also Read: Why Taylor Swift's love life feels louder with Travis Kelce than it ever did with Joe Alwyn Whether it's a real romance or a media-driven moment, one thing is clear: Luke Moga is suddenly a name fans—and maybe even rivals—won't forget. And if Dillon Gabriel's lighthearted jab is any indication, this is just the beginning of Moga's headline era. Game On Season 1 continues with Mirabai Chanu's inspiring story. Watch Episode 2 here.

Cristiano Ronaldo prioritising a record 6th World Cup over the Club World Cup

Resting up to play in a record sixth World Cup was more important to Cristiano Ronaldo than switching teams to play in the Club World Cup. 'I had some offers to play (Club) World Cup but I think it didn't make sense because I prefer to have a good rest, a good preparation, because this season will be very long, because this is the season of the World Cup, at the end of the season,' Ronaldo said in an Instagram video posted by his Saudi Arabian club, Al Nassr, after signing a two-year extension. 'So I want to be ready not only for Al Nassr but also for the national team.' The 40-year-old Ronaldo helped Portugal to the Nations League trophy with a penalty shootout win over Spain three weeks ago as speculation swirled that he would transfer to another club to play in the Club World Cup currently being contested in the United States. He and longtime Argentina rival Lionel Messi could be the first players to appear in six World Cups at next year's tournament co-hosted by the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In Qatar three years ago, Ronaldo became the first male player to score at five World Cups. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's extension with Al Nassr means he will play on until at least the age of 42. (AP) UNG
