Arnold Schwarzenegger wants family movie with Patrick Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt
The 77-year-old actor is open to the idea of a collaboration with his 31-year-old son and son-in-law - who married his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 - but insisted they wouldn't do so for the sake of it as the script would have to be good enough.
He told E! News of the possibility: "It's one of those things that if there's a great script, then of course, we would do it.
"But you can't just make up this stuff. You can't just say, 'OK, let's just put the three together in a movie and not have a great script.' "
The Fubar star called on filmmakers to make the project happen.
He said: "You don't have to talk about it, just do it."
Arnold - who, as well as Katherine, 35, and Patrick, 31, also has Christina, 33, and Christopher, 27, with ex-wife Maria Shriver and Joseph Baena, 27, with Mildren Baena - is also open to the idea of following in his son's footsteps and starring in The White Lotus.
Asked if he'd be interested in a role in the anthology series, he said: "Whenever I see something good, I am interested in it, so we will see."
The former Governor of California is delighted to witness Patrick's success because his son has always been interested in acting.
He said: "Patrick always had a love for show business. He has spent a lot of time on the set with me when he was a kid. He was doing his homework in my movie trailer, he was watching me shooting on stage. I think he got the desire right then and there."
Meanwhile, the veteran action star is excited about the new season of Fubar, even if he finds certain physical scenes "very, very tough" these days.
He teased: "The second season is a lot, a lot of great, great action, and also really funny moments.
"The actual sequences are very, very tough to do, especially when you do night shoots and all that. But it's a lot of fun."
While Arnold is proud of Patrick, he recently admitted he was shocked when his son stripped naked in The White Lotus.
During a joint interview for Variety's 'Actors on Actors' series, he told his son: "I couldn't believe [it].
"I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie.
"What is going on here? This is crazy.
"Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in Conan and Terminator, so don't complain about it.'
"But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely."

The iconic watchmaker, revered for its stellar assortment of field watches and dress ensembles, has unveiled a new collaborative project with renowned video game designer Hideo Kojima, the mastermind behind cult classic Death Stranding. As part of the joint venture, a futuristic Boulton-inspired Hamilton timepiece is set to appear in Kojima's long-awaited sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, in addition to being released as a limited-edition reference. This week, Hamilton finally gave us a first look at the video game-themed American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition, and it must be said, it is a bona fide stunner. For video game fans, Death Stranding 2 could well be the most anticipated game of the year. Featuring world-class voice talent such as The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus and James Bond's Léa Seydoux, Kojima's latest effort is said to push the narrative and experiential boundaries of gaming. The accompanying timepiece follows a similar theme, arriving in a futuristic titanium case finished with a black PVD treatment. What's more, for Kojima, the partnership with Hamilton represented more than just a sharing of ideas. 'More than half a century ago, in the late 1960s, one of my favourite film directors, Stanley Kubrick, commissioned Hamilton to create the watch that appears in his film 2001: A Space Odyssey. I feel very honoured to have been able to create the watch that appears in my latest work, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, together with Hamilton,' Kojima said. 'Both 2001: A Space Odyssey and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach are set in a slightly futuristic world beyond the actual time period in which they were created. Hamilton, which has provided watches for many films, was a perfect choice as a partner to design and create a product set in the near future, which is an extension of the present. According to Hamilton, design cues from the Boulton are seen in the sleek, arching lines of the titanium case, a material that reduced the watch's weight by 45 per cent while also improving its anti-corrosive properties. Remarkably, the watch utilises seven sapphire crystals: one primary viewing window with two columns of three on each side, matching the lines of the case. This unique, never-before-seen case shape creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, which is matched by the minimalist grey indicators on the face and contrasting orange lacquered seconds hand and 12 o'clock index. Inside, you'll find a three-hand automatic 25-jewel movement with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. Limited to just 2,000 pieces worldwide, each with individual case back numbering, the Hamilton American Classic Boulton Death Stranding 2 Limited Edition is the ultimate collector's piece. Complete with packaging inspired by narrative elements from the game as well as a bespoke cleaning cloth unique to the collaboration, the timepiece does an incredible job of bringing the Death Stranding world from the screen to the wrist. Reference Q9028651 sports the same unique and funky Ocean Grey aesthetic that we saw on last year's Polaris Date and Polaris Geographic, a look that arrives courtesy of a complex lacquering process that involves 35 layers and meticulous polishing. However, despite the timepiece's visual similarities, there are some undeniable differences with this year's release. The 42mm chronograph is powered by the in-house Calibre 761, which Jaeger-LeCoultre promises will deliver 65 hours of power reserve. The integrated chronograph movement is best characterised by its column wheel with vertical clutch design, which provides enhanced stability and accuracy. On the dial, Jaeger-LeCoultre has adorned the Polaris Chronograph with a central chronograph seconds hand to enable more precise reading. This is then balanced by the 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, the sub-dial at 9 o'clock serves as a running indicator with a small seconds display. Offered with a pair of interchangeable straps in black rubber and blue-grey fabric, the Polaris Chronograph is an awesome bit of kit that combines all of our favourite things from JLC: quality, workmanship and an eye for details. The GMT Balancier Convexe is an exploration of horological endeavour, taking watch development to its extremities and delivering supreme accuracy, design and innovation in the process. If you ask me, this is less of a new release and more of a dimension revamp, with Greubel Forsey opting to shave off a few millimetres from its existing GMT Balancier Convexe model. Improved wearability from the case size reduction comes alongside a new escape wheel that boasts more decoration with thinner spokes and contrasting grained finishing. Another addition is a power reserve indicator, but all eyes are on that immense spinning globe, which thankfully hasn't been changed. Insane stuff.

The bold flat edges of the platinum case open the door to a very interesting geometric dial made with a technique known as camaïeu, complete with different shades of blue and linear patterns. It's a stellar throwback to the design codes of yesteryear, and Cartier has made the bold decision to release the latest piece in three case sizes (Mini, Small, Medium and Large). The first three are powered by quartz with only the Large Medium copping a mechanical movement. This art deco look is the perfect play for the Tank Américaine's aesthetic, and is topped off by the eight-sided crown set with a faceted ruby. For lovers of Art Deco, this timepiece has all the hallmarks you'd expect for a period piece, right down to the alternating shades of blue on the dial. Importantly, Cartier has also dropped the signature railway minutes track, ensuring the piece conforms to the streamlined, minimalist geometric language. The Cartier Tank Américaine Platinum's architectural look is on full display here, and will be available throughout Europe only. Not one to go out without a bang, the watchmaker has issued one final edition, and it is a stone-cold stunner. The 33-piece stainless steel limited edition Balancier Contemporain is the last we'll see of the esteemed collection and remains very in keeping with the independent watchmaker's iconic aesthetic. The new timepiece follows the exact dimensions of the original 2019 Balancier Contemporain, measuring a slim 39.6mm in diameter and just 12.25mm in height. Contrasting previous releases, however, the final edition takes things in a new direction material-wise. The stainless steel model marks a slightly different change of tack for Greubel Forsey, a sentiment that is matched by the introduction of a sunburst blue finish on the hour and minute displays. Finishing is, of course, second to none. Black-polishing, laser-engraved text, white gold screws, blue-treated German silver, the Balancier Contemporain has it all and then some. A finale of epic proportions. The new timepiece still carries its monster-inspired visuals, but with the addition of a complication, the Time Eater Tourbillon makes for a more interesting package from a watchmaking perspective. From the rolling eye to the gaping mouth that houses the tourbillon, the Time Eater Tourbillon is anything but conventional. And while it is a polarising piece that won't have mass appeal, it's hard to argue just how cool and creative it is. In this new series of super high end watches, we have two distinct models, one in titanium and the other in titanium and rose gold. Both models look rather simple, but as always, there is more to them than meets the eye. The Minute Repeater Carillon Tourbillon Signature Series houses a tourbillon and a minute repeater. This kind of very complicated watchmaking is often unheard of outside of the Holy Trinity and its close peers, but in partnership with Le Cercle des Horlogers, Biver was able to produce this micro-masterpiece. Not bad for half a million.

Pedro Pascal downplays Avengers leader reports
Pedro Pascal has downplayed reports that Reed Richards is the new leader of the Avengers. The 50-year-old actor plays Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's new Fantastic Four movie and despite director Matt Shakman recently hinting that Richards will take on the huge role in the future, Pascal doesn't believe that will happen. He said: 'It's big news to me, that's for one. I think Matt Shakman was doing an interview and when he was speaking about Reed… there is something that happens in the comics where he is sort of drawn in by the Avengers family and asked to be put into a leadership position. That is something that happens in the comics. It isn't necessarily something that my character's future entails. 'I am being honest in that. I am not even trying to avoid spoilers. It's a little bit of a mislead.' Pedro's comments came after Fantastic Four: First Steps director Shakman told Variety that Reed was the most difficult role to cast because 'he goes from being the nerdy scientist who's locked away in the lab, to the husband and the father who'd do anything to protect his family, to the guy who's leading the Avengers'. Pascal and his Fantastic Four co-stars Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will reunite for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday but plot details are being kept under wraps.
