Love Island star reveals bed swapping villa secret viewers don't see on TV

The Sun20-07-2025
LOVE Island star Samantha Kenny has revealed that plenty of bed swapping happens in the villa - but it's not shown on TV.
The Liverpudlian, who took part on the ITV2 dating show last year, spilled the tea on what really happens when the cameras stop rolling.

Samantha, 27, said each week the boys and girls are divided for a day off from filming.
On these days, the male and female Islanders are separated when it comes to the bedroom.
"We have a down day once a week," she told Daily Star.
"We are separate from the boys and the girls have to share a bed.
"There is a producer inside the villa, so we can't chat properly about any gossip, so that's why we're split up."
Samantha shot to fame last summer and was known for her brief and disastrous romance with Joey Essex.
Samantha was dumped from the villa on day 16.
Since being on Love Island, the TV reality star has found herself quite in demand - with footballers.
Samantha revealed how she'd had plenty of footy stars slide into her DMs.
However, she has revealed she would never date any of them, because they act like "they're all 12."

Sam also said she had been approached by ex Love Island stars.
The star said dating outside of the villa has been hard to get her head around.
Speaking about the type of men who'd been messaging her, she told The Mirror: "Only ex-Islanders, no-one major.
"There's loads of footballers, loads of footy players, they're always in there."
Implying that the messages had been too childish for her, she added: "But they have a conversation with themselves.
"I tend to stay away from them because they're always like 12."
VILLA HEARTBREAK
Last summer, Samantha didn't have the easiest time when she joined the cast of Love Island.
She spent two weeks coupled up with Joey Essex before Grace Jackson, who he'd had a previous connection on the outside world with, stole him away in Secret Sleepover.
This led to the make-up artist sobbing on the daybeds claiming Joey "didn't give a flying f**k" about her feelings.
After being dumped, Samantha made sure to have the last word - blasting his apologies as "a load of s**t".

However, one former Islander appeared to totally dismiss Yasmin and Jamie as they could be seen chatting away throughout the couple's interview with host Maya Jama. Helena appeared distracted as she 'ignored' what Yasmin had to say and instead caught up with fourth place star Angel in full view of the cameras. Each time the shot focused on Maya, Helena could be seen speaking to her co-star as she failed to listen in to what Yasmin had to say. Noticing their antics online, one fan questioned: "What is Helena and Angel talking about." Before someone else echoed: "All I could see behind Maya was angel and Helena chatting away the whole time during yaz and Jamie's interview." It added further fuel to the fire about the long-standing girls divide this year. Helena had failed to see eye-to-eye with Yasmin, Shakira or Toni during her time in the villa as two rival girl groups quickly emerged. Along with Meg and Megan, Helena had clashes with the other three villa girls throughout but it seemed they had the last laugh when they made up the top three spots. Love Island host Maya Jama shares true feelings over Shakira and Harry reunion

Love Island 2025's Harry was surprised to hear what host Maya Jama really thought of him and Shakira reuniting and making it to the final after recent comments on the series Love Island host Maya Jama wasted no time in telling runners-up Shakira and Harry what she really thought of their romance during the live final on Monday night. The pair have been on and off and in multiple triangles throughout the series. ‌ But in the last week or so, the Love Island pair reconciled against all odds and seemed to be in it for good this time. Despite dividing viewers and co-stars with their latest reunion, host Maya surprised Harry with what she had to say on Monday. ‌ The presenter gave her true thoughts on the pair, having called out Harry for his behaviour towards Helena and others in a previous episode. It comes as Toni and Cach were announced as this year's winners, beating Shakira and harry to the prize money. ‌ Harry shared his shock though, as Maya admitted this time it felt different between them. Having seen clips of them together for the final week and the final day, she said watching them she could see it was genuine. She shared: "Well you both look very happy with each other. It's nice to see you two together in the final. You both look really... I dunno. The last couple of days I've been watching you like, this is cute. This is cute." ‌ Harry couldn't hide the shock on his face as he said: "Yeah? I never thought you'd say that to me, Maya." Agreeing, she replied: "I know, can you believe it? Me calling you cute. "But you are here in the final. There is obviously something the public have seen that is obviously giving love story." It comes as the All Stars series was confirmed to return to ITV2 and ITVX for a third series in 2026. Speaking on the renewal, Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, said: 'Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans of the show gripped by iconic Islanders from the past 10 years returning for another chance to find love. ‌ "We are very excited about series 3 and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars, after an incredible smash hit summer series.' The second series of Love Island: All Stars aired earlier this year, and was won by Gabby Allen and Case O'Gorman. The series also saw the reunion of Ronnie Vint and Harriet Blackmore - but it didn't come without complaints. In February, the show lodged over 2,000 complaints to Ofcom in its final week, as fans fumed at various stars for their "bullying behaviour". On February 12, there were 1,347 complaints, followed by 820 on February 11, 63 on February 13 and 57 on February 16. The February 12 episode saw Ekin-Su and Elma clash over the latter's comment about Ekin-Su and Curtis having the weakest connection. Things only got worse between the group when Ekin-Su had kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge. During the argument, an angry Elma swore at Ekin-Su and Curtis and told them to "shut their mouths".

Princess Andre left 'hating herself' amid heartbreaking bullying over her looks

Model Princess Andre shared a devastating confession about her own body image as she revealed she was subject to cruel bullying that made her 'hate' herself Princess Andre has heartbreakingly shared the extent of her bullying as she admitted to "hating" herself. The daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price has stepped into the spotlight on her own thanks to her new TV series. ‌ She has had the taste of the limelight for years thanks to her famous parents, from red carpets to glam photoshoots. However, things haven't always been easy for Princess, 18. ‌ The teenager has revealed she was subject of nasty trolling over her looks which severely affected how she saw herself. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss. ‌ In the first episode of her new ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, Princess headed over to her manager Claire's house to have a meeting about her future goals. Princess revealed her dreams of creating her own makeup brand, but it left her sharing an unexpected confession. Claire laid bare the hard work needed from Princess in order to get her brand to become a reality, which prompted her to share the devastating reason behind her determination. "I love the idea of being able to make myself look different," she revealed. "I used to hate my lips, I used to hate my nose." ‌ Princess told the camera the extent of the bullying: "When I was younger, I used to get really picked on for my nose being too big and my eyes being too big and my lips being nonexistent. I used to be very, very self conscious and genuinely hate myself. "When I discovered makeup and I figured out you can enhance your eye features, make your nose smaller, make your lips bigger - now I feel a lot more confident. Still not fully, but a lot more confident about certain things." She went on to tell Claire: "I literally hated everything and then I discovered makeup." They discussed how important Princess' message is as many young women turn to surgery instead. ‌ Princess insisted: "You don't need that when you're 18. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own thing." She added to the camera: "I am not against surgery at all. If anyone I know gets surgery, it would never ever change my opinion on them." The model referenced her mum Katie Price, who has reportedly had 17 boob jobs, and added: "Obviously, if you know my mum, you know she's had a lot of surgery and she owns it. She loves it and I am so here for it." "But, she was actually the one telling me 'don't get it done, you are beautiful the way you are'," Princess said as she revealed her mum's powerful comment. "There are so many things makeup taught me and I have also learnt to love myself without it because I think that is important as well. You have to love yourself without," she shared. The Princess Diaries airs at 9pm, this Sunday on ITV2.
