James Martin reveals extra precautions to protect himself after London attack
The ITV chef recently declared that 'London is broken' after the windscreen of his car was smashed in.
In a post on Instagram, the 52-year-old shared a photo of his car with the caption: 'So in a week two of my friends cars got stolen.
'One other mate got mugged and now I had this happen all in broad daylight all in central London. London is broken big time.'
Now, however, Martin has taken a step further by sharing a picture of his dogs, a Belgian Malinois, in a 'working dog' harness.
Alongside the image, he captioned the post by simply saying: 'London.'
After sharing what had happened on his miserable morning, fans rallied round the star, sharing kind words on the post.
Joanne Lokwiya wrote, 'So sorry this has happened to you. The whole of the UK is the same, the laws need to change and we need more police on the streets'.
'This is so sad, what once was an incredible capital city is now a centre for crime, ' added Sarah O'Sullivan.
Catherine Evans, meanwhile, said, 'This is so sad, what once was an incredible capital city is now a centre for crime'.
This comes after the TV personality revealed his secret health battle that is making his ITV role 'really difficult'.
The 52-year-old said he finds it easier to cook and chat with the guests on his shows than do any formal hosting because he has 'severe' dyslexia.
As a result, the language processing disorder makes it hard for him to read an autocue.
Appearing on Kaye Adams' BBC Radio Scotland show, he praised her work and said: 'I'm watching you do your thing while I'm listening to music play and you're like a conductor. More Trending
'I can't do what you do and I certainly can't when I've been on Loose Women with you as well.'
He complimented: 'I certainly admire anyone who's able to do that.'
As well as presenting his cooking show, the 52-year-old has presented James Martin's Great British Adventure, Islands to Highlands and James Martin's French Adventure.

Ellie Goulding displays her washboard abs in a skimpy black bikini as she sunbathes after jetting off on holiday
Ellie Goulding displayed her washboard abs in a skimpy black bikini as she sunbathed while on holiday. The singer, 38, took to Instagram on Monday to share a racy snap as she relaxed on a sun lounger. Ellie, who had travelled to a mystery holiday destination, showed off her toned figure in a black halterneck bikini and low-rise briefs. She took a selfie while lying on a blue striped towel, where she was seen sporting a cream baseball cap. In another snap shared the day before, Ellie's toned arms were on display as she stepped out in a white vest and low-rise pleated skirt. She paired the chic ensemble with blacks stilettos featuring a gold brooch as she posed in a stone archway. It comes just days after Ellie showed off her toned arms in an elegant linen dress as she arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for day 11 of Wimbledon. The British singer looked incredible in the £1,320 white and grey striped number by Tod's as she took her seat in the Royal Box alongside A-list guests at SW19 on Thursday. Ellie showcased her toned arms - the result of her gruelling exercise regime - in the sleeveless dress which she teamed with a £1,100 grey handbag by the designer and matching summery heeled sandals. Ellie flashed a beaming smile as she made her way into the Royal Box ahead of watching world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka facing U.S. 13th seed Amanda Anisimova on Centre Court for a place in the final. Ellie has several connections to the royal family as she famously performed at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding reception in 2011 and attended reported ex Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle. The Love Me Like You Do songstress is known to be close to Princess Eugenie, with it being said that the princess introduced Ellie to her now-estranged husband Caspar Jopling. Ellie also sang at Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank in October 2018, while the Princess and Jack were guests at Ellie and Caspar's wedding in 2019. Elsewhere Leona Lewis, Emma Bunton, Lucy Boynton and Ashley Roberts all looked ethereal in white as they attended Wimbledon. It comes after Elie looked incredible in black lace lingerie as she snapped a sizzling selfie in her social media dump which she posted to Instagram. The singer showed off her rock hard abs in the skimpy two piece as she posed up a storm in the photograph taken in her hotel room. The selection of recent photos showed her holidaying in New York, as well as hitting the recording studio and working out in the gym. Ellie's stateside trip comes after she revealed the painful-looking results from a cosmetic treatment and sparked concern among her fans. Ellie, who often bats away rumours she uses injectables such as Botox and filler, shared a shocking video on TikTok following a laser facial which left her skin red raw. Sharing the results with her 1.7 million followers, the star captioned the clip: 'I give up trying to look snatched.' Ellie, who shares four-year-old son Arthur with her ex-husband Caspar Jopling, added that she felt like she'd been 'attacked by a laser grill' following the procedure. After sharing the immediate results of her treatment, fans rushed to the comment section to express their concern. One fan wrote: 'My god Ellie, what happened to your skin? I hope it's fine.'; 'Ouch. sorry.'; 'You were beautiful just as you were! Not sure why you think you need to do anything. We love you for you!'

Love Island: The Lowdown On The 2025 Final
We had high hopes for Love Island season 12, and it certainly hasn't disappointed so far. With a swanky upgraded villa, new twists and turns, and standout personalities, this series of the show has taken us back to the show's glory days, where drama was around every corner. The drama intensified last week, when the show's trademark twist, Casa Amor, stirred up even more drama than we expected. Producers also threw in an additional shocking turn, revealing six people were going to be dumped - and not just those left in Casa. But all good things must come to an end - even Love Island. Yep, we hate to break it to you but the show will be coming to an end in a matter of weeks. Here's how long you have left binging your favourite islanders... ITV hasn't officially said when Love Island 2025 will come to an end. However, the rumours suggest the final could be taking place on Monday 4 August - giving us just three weeks left of the on-screen action. This would make sense, given that in previous years, the final has always taken place on a Monday - so be safe, we'd recommend not booking any social plans for those days. Judging by previous years, the final will be broadcast live at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX from the villa. If you can't tune in live, you will also be able to stream it afterwards. The tense final will follow the final four couples, while they wait to find out who has won the public vote - and their share of £50,000. The winners also receive a Love Island water bottle in the post, as well as a covered letter from Mike Spencer-Hayter, who is the show's directer. The evening is hosted by Maya Jama, and will most likely follow it's usual format, showing pre-recorded scenes of the islanders' last day in the villa, before the live broadcast takes over ahead of the much-anticipated first-place result. After the winners are declared, the episode will conclude shortly after at 10.35pm. If previous years are anything to go by, then yes! As we've been doing throughout the series, you can cast your votes by downloading the Love Island app, which is available on Apple and Android devices. Usually, you get you get one free vote where you are asked to select your favourite couple. All you have to do after is verify your phone number and voilà - vote submitted. You can also vote on the ITV website.
