Abbie Chatfield slammed for calling out people online after crying and 'begging' people to leave her alone: 'Maybe just ignore and block people you don't agree with'

Daily Mail20-05-2025
Abbie Chatfield was slammed by a fan on Monday for blasting people on Instagram less than two weeks after she begged her haters to leave her alone.
The It's A Lot podcast host, 29, was told by a follower to just 'ignore' her critics, after the media personality named and shamed people trolling one of her recent posts.
Their argument escalated when Abbie then went on to share private messages between herself and the follower, saying they 'aren't deserving of privacy'.
The debacle kicked off when Abbie posted a video of herself dancing online in a skint-tight blue plaid outfit, with some 'trolls' leaving comments beneath it calling her 'cringe'.
Abbie went on to expose her haters in her Stories as she shared the comments, along with the posters, for all her 566,000 followers to see.
Just a few hours later, Abbie then shared a private message from a fan who called her out for publicly shaming people after she begged people to stop 'coming for her'.
Less than two weeks ago, Abbie became embroiled in a brutal, public feud with feminist author Clementine Ford.
The online fight left Abbie in tears as she posted a video of herself sobbing and begging for the activist to stop 'lying' about her in the Dear Clementine Substack blog.
'This is getting so old. When are you going to realise that people have opinions that they're allowed to voice on a public platform just like you do every day,' the follower messaged Abbie.
'Tagging people to essentially send your troops in to destroy is not going to fix that problem. Maybe just ignore or block people that you don't agree with.'
The follower went on to accuse Abbie of 'using her platform to bully' people she puts on 'blast', calling it 'gross' behaviour.
Abbie retaliated by publicly shaming the follower and sharing a screenshot of the DM, including the face and name of the follower, to her Stories.
'People are allowed to voice their opinions queen, I'm also allowed to share them! And have my opinion on their opinion,' Abbie captioned the screenshot.
'The irony of you saying people are affected by words on the internet, yet telling me to just get over it and be quiet about it? So it only affects other people, not me?'
Moments later, Abbie posted several videos talking about the private message, saying: 'Just a reminder, I'm a human being... All day every day I get negative comments about anything I do.'
She added: 'I can't re-share their public comment to my Stories? Because people will go after them?
'If they didn't want to have repercussions for their actions, they shouldn't have commented something negative and weird.
'And if you don't want repercussions for your actions, you shouldn't DM me telling me to feel sorry for the people who troll me.'
Abbie went on to say she names and shames people who criticise her because she wants to 'deter people who troll her'.
The backlash didn't end there as the fan she publicly shamed sent Abbie yet another direct message calling out the former Bachelor star for leaking their private chat.
'Are you proud of yourself?' the person said in another message which Abbie also shared.
'Seriously? You double down every single time someone voices their opinions, but less than two weeks ago you posted a crying, sobbing video asking people to stop coming at you. Yet here you are doing it to your own followers.'
This time, Abbie hit back at the follower directly, saying: 'Queen, there's a difference between me posting your own words and me being harassed and defamed for years by someone.
'I don't think you could handle what I handle for even an hour. It's insane. You have no idea what this is like.'
When the follower went on to slam Abbie for sharing their private conversation to her Stories, Abbie said: 'I don't know you. You aren't deserving of privacy.
'I am a person reading your message. I don't owe you privacy, we are strangers. If you don't want something shown then don't say it.'
It comes after Abbie was left in tears just over a week ago when she slammed Clementine, 44, for 'writing a burn book' about the ex-radio host.
In her blog, Clementine called out Australian influencers like Abbie whom she claims profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who challenges them.
Abbie then shared a video on Instagram in which she called the columnist a 'weirdo' for having a bone to pick with her.
'She's literally writing a burn book about me and doing insults like: "She thinks she's so hot,"' the It's A Lot podcast host said in between laughs.
'What a weirdo - oh my god,' she added, before finishing her clip off with a request for the writer.
'Clementine, take a step back from the internet. Take a step back from Reddit please.'
However, things took a dark turn when the influencer later returned to the platform in tears with a video of herself sobbing.
In the clip, Abbie asked Clementine to stop 'trolling' her personality online, revealing it was not only affecting her mental health but also made her feel unsafe.
'I get it enough from people on the right and trolls and men that hate me and want to threaten me and want me dead. Please stop dehumanising me,' she wept.
'Please, you can criticise my content you can criticise my work just I'm begging you to stop lying about my intentions.
'Stop saying that I have a personality disorder. You don't know me. This is so f****ing triggering I just want her to stop.'
Abbie went on: 'Please stop discouraging me from posting about Gaza.
'It isn't working, you're discouraging others... Please, like, I'm just trying to do what I can to help.
'I just don't understand why she's so adamant on proving that I'm awful. I don't get it. This is so incredibly stressful and awful what she is doing.'
Abbie said she was now aware of 'someone spreading malicious lies about me again and again … because she claims to know my intentions on f***ing everything'.
'I'm scared of her. Please stop, Clementine. I am begging you to stop,' she sobbed.

Married At First Sight 2026's sauciest bride risks major wardrobe malfunction as she marries Aussie reality star in beach ceremony

Married At First Sight has started filming across Sydney - and it seems we've found the sauciest bride of the 2026 season. Gia Fleur was exclusively pictured by Daily Mail Australia on Monday wearing a very racy wedding ensemble as she married Aussie reality star Scott McCristal in a romantic beach ceremony. The bride put on a busty display in a mermaid tail dress, which tightly hugged her figure as she wed the Million Dollar Island alum on Maroubra Beach. The frock boasted long sleeves, an accentuated waist and a high slit up the leg, which saw Gia risk a major wardrobe malfunction as she walked down the aisle. However, it was the frilly, bow-emblazoned garter wrapped around her left leg that raised eyebrows. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Gia finished off the look by sweeping up her golden locks into a bun and wore a jewel-encrusted tiara. Gia's groom was smitten as she came down the aisle. The couple were all smiles as they wed in front of a picturesque beach scene. Scott could be seen leaning back in fits of laughter after one point as they held hands at the altar. The new couple exchanged rings and then a kiss as they said 'I do' for MAFS fans across the globe. Later on, Scott and Gia enjoyed a loved-up photo shoot on the beach, where they could be seen striking a variety of poses. One picture saw the couple in a passionate embrace, with Gia's garter-laden leg lifted up by her husband. Later, Scott carried his new bride across the beach. While the newest season of MAFS has kicked off with a bang, according to reports, it nearly didn't happen. Daily Mail Australia previously revealed the 2026 season almost didn't make it to air after last-minute cast dropouts forced producers to scramble behind the scenes. 'They had multiple people pull out and had to move quickly to fill those spots,' one well-placed source revealed. But the end result? A bold, diverse cast of professionals, creatives, and big personalities - with producers tipping this to be one of the 'most explosive seasons yet.' 'Some couples are hitting it off immediately, others are absolute mismatches - the drama is already building,' one insider said.

EXCLUSIVE Hollywood heartthrob goes incognito as he reveals shock new look at Maroubra Beach in Sydney

A major US actor looked completely unrecognisable as he filmed scenes for his new movie in Sydney over the weekend. Noah Centineo looked very different as he donned long blonde hair while filming the new Street Fighter film at Maroubra Beach. The Gen Z heartthrob, 28, is set to play the role of Ken Masters alongside other major stars including rapper 50 Cent. He was dressed in a white singlet and denim pants as he got into character. Noah had bright yellow sunglasses on his locks as he chatted with the crew before filming scenes for the upcoming movie. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It comes after Noah recently sparked romance rumours with Zoe Kravitz, 36, after they left a party together in West Hollywood back in March. The Big Little Lies star and actor, best known for his starring role in To All the Boys I've Loved Before, were seen exiting the same small bar/club around 2:20 a.m. According to eyewitnesses, the rumoured couple did leave in the same car. The pair's sighting came on the same day her ex-fiancé Channing Tatum, 44, went public with his new romance with Australian model Inka Williams at a pre-Oscars party in Los Angeles, hosted by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Kravitz and Centineo refrained from engaging in any PDA and it is unknown if their relationship is romantic or platonic. The month prior the two were also seen hanging out in New York City. Kravitz and Tatum were romantically involved for three years and engaged for one, before they called off the wedding at the end of October. The split was a particular shock for the couple, as they had not only gotten engaged, but Channing had been spotted with fresh ink of Zoë's initials on the back of his hand in September. Noah shot to fame portraying Peter Kavinsky in the To All the Boys I've Loved Before film series, establishing himself as a teen heartthrob. He has also starred in the The Recruit, playing a CIA lawyer entangled in a dangerous world. Noah's most recent roles include Black Adam and Warfare. The actor has also appeared in Charlie Angles, The Fosters and Sierra Burgess Is A Loser.
