GEORGIA May Foote has revealed her "nightmare" struggle for acting work after leaving Coronation Street.
The soap star, 34, who has just split from her husband Kris Evans, 35, also revealed how she had to turn to crowd funding to raise £12k cash after her sideline business burnt down.

Georgia - who joined Corrie in 2015 but whose character was killed-off screen two years later - has had a tough time lately, and has now opened up about how her acting work dried up.
Speaking about returning to the UK from Serbia in 2021, where she filmed CW drama The Outpost, she told the Sausage on a Fork podcast:: "I came back in the December of 2020 and I just realised, 'Oh my God, there's no work.'
"Everything that got stopped filming in the UK then got put on a back burner, and then there was a backlog of what was about to start filming.
"Then everything behind that took four years to come out, then we had the writers' strikes."
The distraught star then added: "It's just been a nightmare.
"And that's why this has been the quietest I've ever been in my life.
"I think a lot of actors around the world will say the exact time."
NAIL SALON FIRE
Another testing time for Georgia was when her beauty business was destroyed in a devastating fire.
She launched the nail salon after she struggled to find acting work.
But because of the blaze, she has had to resort to crowd funding to try and raise money to get the company up and running again.

The actress had created a successful side-hustle to her acting by training as a nail technician and setting up a salon in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
On June 25, Georgia took to Instagram to report her salon unit had burned down.
She launched a fundraiser for herself and the other businesses affected while they await a potential insurance payout - yet was hit with flack from cruel online trolls.
In the same podcast, Georgia opened up about the impact of the fire, and said: "Within two hours the whole building was alight, and the whole thing burnt down.
"We weren't allowed back in there and nothing has been salvaged.
"Four years' worth of products and stock and everything. We can't get back to work without that stuff.

"It's thousands of pounds of stuff. You can't just go and buy it.
Talking about the crowd funding, she said: "I did start a fundraiser to raise some money for these ladies to help us get back on our feet and build our stock back up again that we've lost.
"It's passed the £12,000 mark. I'm really happy. It makes me really emotional to speak about it.
"I just know it's a lot of women's only income. I'm lucky that I still do my voiceovers and I do have jobs coming in.
"But, at the same time, I lost a lot of money in that fire. But people have lost entire homes worth of stuff that can't be replaced."
Reflecting on how much the business means to her, Georgia said: "This has kept me busy every single day.
"It gives me a reason to get up every single day.
HEADING FOR DIVORCE
The Sun exclusively revealed how Georgia and husband Kris are heading for divorce just two years after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony.
The actress has removed her wedding ring and wiped all traces of the musician who she once called her 'best friend' from her Instagram page — including glossy snaps from their wedding.
A source told The Sun: 'Georgia's marriage to Kris seems to be over. It's on the rocks.
'She's looking to the future and is surrounded by friends and her family.'

The ex-Corrie star is selling the beloved family home she once shared with her ex Scott Sinclair Helen Flanagan has responded to claims she's "skint" after selling the £1m home she once shared with ex-fiancée Scott Sinclair. The actress addressed rumours that have been circulating for months suggesting she's facing financial troubles - and that she's flogging the pricey Cheshire property she previously shared with Scott due to money woes. The former Coronation Street star, who played Rosie, parted ways with the former Celtic footballer and the father of her children, Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four, in 2022 following a 13-year romance. In an exclusive chat with OK! magazine, the reality star hit back at speculation around her moving situation, stating firmly: "That's not why I'm selling". The 34-year-old said upping sticks was more emotional than financial. "I'm not in a financial crisis," Helen told the outlet. "I'm moving because I really need a fresh start. Scott surprised me with this house and it was always supposed to be our happy family home. And it wasn't that. "I like to be light-hearted and I hate to sound depressing, but there is a sadness in this house." She went on: "It's been a turbulent three years since we split and I need to start afresh. I want to eventually move to London, but for now we'll stay close to the kids' schools. I don't want to disrupt them. "When you're a mum, you're thinking about the children first and foremost." Helen separated from Robbie Talbot, 45, in May whom she was dating whilst filming Celebs Go Dating last year after a year together - though she says there are "no hard feelings" and the relationship simply "ran its course". Regarding co-parenting her energetic trio with Scott, Helen admitted: "When you break up with someone, emotions are raw. It can take a long time for those emotions to calm down. And sometimes, even now, we don't get on. "But on the whole, we can actually be in the same room together. He's the father of my children; I was with him since I was 19 and I'm always going to have love for him – but it doesn't mean we want to be together. "I don't have any bad feelings towards Scott, though sometimes he drives me absolutely mad." Just last month, Scott, 36, moved back into Helen's house despite blocking her on social media last year and Helen claiming they "don't like each other". Fans were surprised and left wondering what was going on. "The girls' birthdays are close together and we both wanted to be around for that, so he stayed at the house for a little while," Helen explained. "That was really nice for the children, to see their parents be OK with each other." When questioned whether having the children most of the time whilst Scott pursues his football career creates any bitterness, Helen swiftly dismissed the notion. "No," she responded immediately. "Because he's massively financially provided for our children, both for their future and with the house we live in. Also, I quite like the fact that I've got them most of the time.
