Gaza Government Media Office: 51 Aid seekers martyred in Zionist enemy fire

Saba Yemen4 days ago
Gaza – Saba:
The Government Media Office in Gaza confirmed that Israeli occupation forces committed a new bloody massacre on Wednesday, targeting thousands of starving civilians in northern Gaza.
Within just three hours, 51 citizens were martyred, and 648 others were injured.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office explained that the victims were killed while attempting to access food aid delivered by trucks from the "Zikim" area. They were targeted in the "Al-Sudaniya" area amid the catastrophic famine imposed on Gaza by the enemy for months.
The office noted that while 112 aid trucks entered Gaza today, most were looted due to the systematic and deliberate security chaos fostered by the enemy. This aligns with Israel's policy of "engineering chaos and starvation," aimed at disrupting aid distribution and depriving civilians of assistance.
The Government Media Office emphasized that this massacre, along with previous similar crimes, reaffirms that the Zionist enemy is using hunger as a weapon of war, cold-bloodedly targeting civilians searching for sustenance—a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws.
It strongly condemned the continuation of these brutal policies, holding the Israeli enemy and its supporting states fully responsible for the horrific crimes against over 2.4 million people in Gaza, including 1.1 million children deprived of food and infant formula under a suffocating siege and systematic genocide.
The office urged the international community, the United Nations, and global justice institutions to act urgently to open crossings immediately, lift the blockade, and ensure the safe, organized entry of humanitarian aid—including infant formula—under full UN supervision. It also demanded accountability for Israeli war criminals over their escalating atrocities.
Reiterating Gaza's needs, the office stressed that the strip requires at least 600 daily relief and fuel trucks to meet the bare minimum of vital sector demands, emphasizing that these requirements "remain far from achievable under this suffocating and bloody siege."

IDF downs drone launched from Yemen "near Egyptian border"

The IDF said Sunday it intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle launched from Yemen, marking the latest in a series of cross-border attacks linked to the Iran-backed Houthi rebels. The drone triggered an alert in the southern Israeli community of Bnei Netzarim, near the Egypt-Israel border. The military confirmed the UAV, which entered Israeli airspace from Yemen, was successfully downed by the Israeli Air Force. There were no injuries or damage reported. Shortly after the alert was issued, the Home Front Command announced the incident had concluded. 'Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration in Bnei Netzarim, a suspicious aerial target launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF [Israeli Air Force],' the IDF said in a statement said in a statement.

Govt Media Office in Gaza: Israeli enemy prevents entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at crossings

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday that the Israeli enemy continues to engineer starvation, blockade, and chaos, preventing the entry of 22,000 aid trucks piled up at the Gaza Strip crossings. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office confirmed that there are more than 22,000 humanitarian aid trucks currently stuck at the Gaza Strip crossing gates, most of which belong to UN and international organizations and various entities. It explained that the Israeli enemy is deliberately preventing the entry of this aid as part of a systematic policy of "engineering starvation, blockade, and chaos," as part of the ongoing genocide against more than 2.4 million people in the Gaza Strip. The Government Media Office condemned in the strongest terms the continued blockade, starvation of civilians, and withholding of aid, and considers it a full-fledged war crime that violates all international norms and conventions. It held the Israeli enemy, along with the countries involved through silence or complicity, fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian disaster and the disastrous consequences of depriving the population of food, medicine, and fuel. The office demanded the immediate, safe, and permanent entry of all detained trucks, the unconditional opening of the crossings, and ensuring the flow of aid to save the lives of civilians in the Gaza Strip before it is too late. Palestinian Scholars Association calls on nation to take action against genocide in Gaza

Occupied al-Quds – Saba: The Palestinian Scholars Association called on the Arab and Islamic nations and free people around the world on Sunday to take action in the field to support calls for popular escalation against the genocide and starvation being perpetrated in the Gaza Strip. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Association called for organizing protests and sit-ins in front of Israeli embassies and the embassies of countries that support it, starting today and continuing until the aggression stops and the famine is lifted from the residents of the Gaza Strip. The Association expressed its concern about what is happening in al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque, asserting that the Zionist enemy police have become a sponsor of incursions by Zionist religious pilgrims. It emphasized that what is happening in al-Aqsa Mosque aims to consolidate the temporal and spatial division of the mosque and to redefine the Zionist intruders as pilgrims. The Authority called for the broadest popular, media, and scholarly engagement with the Battle of al-Aqsa Mosque, especially on the anniversary of the so-called "Destruction of the Temple," which falls today, Sunday, August 3. The Authority emphasized that al-Aqsa Mosque is not only a Palestinian issue, but rather a battle for Islamic existence, and that any negligence in defending it constitutes an abandonment of the nation's trust and its religious and historical responsibilities.
