
Bunyanum Marsoos rally pays tribute to Burhan Wani
The march began from the Arts Council of Pakistan and culminated at the Karachi Press Club, attracting a large number of participants from various political, religious, and Kashmiri organisations, civil society, and the general public. The rally was led by Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Convener of APHC, and was attended by prominent figures including Syed Parvez Shah, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Raja Shaheen, Abdul Majid Sheikh, PPP Karachi General Secretary Javed Nagori, MQM-P MPAs Khawaja Izharul Hasan and Taha Ahmed Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami's Muslim Parvez, Central Muslim League leader Faisal Nadeem, and Muslim League-Functional leader Arshad Baloch, among others.
The speakers paid glowing tribute to Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Pakistan Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos against Indian aggression.

IIOJK ‘strongman' faces calls for resignation

How many days, weeks, months to also be held accountable and resign or get sacked?' Pawan Khera, a spokesperson for the main opposition Congress party, said in a post on X. In a democracy, the next step after taking the responsibility is resignation!' said Shama Mohamed, the national spokesperson for Congress. According to Kashmir Media Service, Imran Nabi Dar, a spokesperson for IIOJK ruling party, the National Conference (NC) that the next logical step for SInha 'should be to step down and apologise to the people of J&K whose lives, livelihood and dignity were put at stake due to his blunders'. Separately, a local leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami demanded accountability of the Indian government over the Pahalgam attack. 'The government must come out with details about the lapses that resulted in the killing of 26 civilians,' he said.

FM Dar meets Chinese President Xi in Beijing
Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing and conveyed him the warm greetings of the leadership, government and people of Pakistan.
