I'm all tucked into bed, ready to wake up at 5 am for a 6 am call time. So if you love me… let me sleep." Later in the morning, Sonakshi shared another story saying, 'Wow!! My story worked. Everyone messaged and S Mehraa called straight at 5 am. Thank you guys for all the wonderful wishes that are pouring in and that will pour in…will be reading at shoot."
Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha's upcoming psychological thriller Nikita Roy has been assigned a new release date. Directed by her brother Kussh Sinha, the film is now set to hit theatres on June 27, delayed from its original May 30 premiere. The producers have not disclosed the reason for the postponement.
The much-anticipated drama is produced by Nicky Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani, and Ankur Takrani under the banners of Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films, Kratos Entertainment, and Nikita Pai Films. The cast also includes Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar in key roles.
Sonakshi Sinha is also set to make her Tollywood debut with the highly anticipated film Jatadhara. Directed by Venkat Kalyan, the drama is described as a supernatural fantasy thriller. Alongside Sonakshi, the film features Sudheer Babu, Shilpa Shirodkar and Divya Vij in prominent roles.
Produced by Prerna Arora, Jatadhara promises to be a game-changer, poised to redefine genre storytelling in both Telugu and Hindi cinema. The film delves into the mysteries surrounding the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, exploring hidden treasures, unexplained phenomena, and the rich folklore connected to the site.

Kuberaa Box Office Collection Day 10: Kuberaa, starring Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, is now nearing the ₹ 80 crore mark at the Indian box office on Sunday, Day 10, thanks to the weekend. Kuberaa hit the big screens on Friday, June 20, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie, hit by weekday snags, earned ₹ 69 crore in its first week in theatres. Of this, Kuberaa collected ₹ 48.6 during the first weekend. During the first week in theatres, Kuberaa's Telugu variant earned ₹ 48.7 crore and ₹ 18.38 crore in Tamil. In Kannada, the movie minted ₹ 20,00,000, and ₹ 1.72 crore in Hindi. The movie's Malayalam version failed to earn anything at the box office. In the Hindi-speaking belt, the movie faces key competition from Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par, which was also released on the same day and has earned ₹ 116.74 crore in 10 days. The numbers will be revised later to include evening and night show collections. Kuberaa saw an overall 41.28% occupancy on June 29. For the Tamil version, the occupancy was as follows: The numbers for the evening and night show are yet to be released. Chennai, Vizag, and Hyderabad recorded the highest footfall for the day. In Tamil, the movie witnessed an overall occupancy of 28.89%. According to Sacnilk, Kuberaa collected ₹ 117 crore worldwide until Saturday, including ₹ 88.85 crore (India gross) and ₹ 28.15 crore from overseas. Kuberaa follows the story of a beggar who undergoes a dramatic transformation. The film touches upon themes of greed, ambition, moral conflicts, and more faced by the cast, ultimately leading to redemption.

Ghai, who worked with Irrfan in the film 'Right Yaa Wrong,' took to his Instagram account to share a post praising him not just as an actor but as someone who deeply understood the art of storytelling. He wrote, "I have always been more in admiration of good and great actors than just cosmetic stars of any time. Good actors enhance storytelling--stars play stars to glitter the film. I was more happy to receive compliments from Irrfan than an award at an award function. So, I remember this picture vividly. We miss you, Irrfan."
