Surprise Aussie Orlando Bloom sighting amid Katy Perry split rumours
Katy Perry's longtime partner Orlando Bloom has been spotted here in Australia, amid rumours the couple's relationship is on the rocks.
Perry is nearing the end of the Australian leg of her Lifetimes tour, with shows in Perth last night and tonight before she finishes her Oz jaunt with four shows in Adelaide.
Earlier this month and several shows into the Australian tour, reports surfaced claiming that Perry's nine-year relationship with actor Bloom was all but done.
'It's over,' a source alleged to Page Six. 'They are waiting till her tour is over before they split.'
The pair have been engaged since 2019, and welcomed daughter Daisy Dove the following year.
But while Bloom wasn't present for the earlier shows of the Australian visit, it appears he's now flown to Perth to join Perry and their daughter on tour.

He was snapped walking through the Perth CBD yesterday ahead of Perry's first show in the city, with their daughter on his shoulders.
Perry, however, was nowhere to be seen.
A source in People made the somewhat unlikely claim that poor sales of Perry's latest album 143 and its accompanying singles were partly to blame for the alleged breakdown of her relationship.

'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' the outlet quoted a source as saying. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.'
Other reports alleged that tensions surfaced between the couple over Perry's controversial all-female space flight back in April.
A source alleged to The Sun that Bloom was 'frustrated' and 'disappointed' with his partner's decision to go ahead with the brief joy ride into space.

Perry looked to be enjoying herself before Bloom joined her on tour, partying at a gay club night held in her honour last week in Melbourne.
Perry cheered on the drag shows and mingled with patrons during the 'Poof Doof' party at Melbourne's Chasers nightclub last week, and even addressed the crowd to make a big announcement.

'So as a provider, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby.'
Perry and Bloom had earlier split for a year in 2017 before getting back together.
The pop star addressed the past break on the podcast Call her Daddy last year, saying, 'We weren't really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.'

Scott Cam has implemented a strict new rule change for this year's season of The Block – and it might make for a slightly less comfortable experience for contestants. Usually, contestants would 'rough it' for the first few days of a season, living out of the tent as they built the first room of the house, typically a bedroom. It meant that from the end of week one, they could pack up the tent and have a roof over their heads – and have the rest of the house to live in and use as it was built, week by week. Scott Cam delivers the news. But Cam told contestants this year that he was implementing a strict new rule: 'No overnighters.' The five teams would not be able to spend the night inside their houses at all during the season. Instead, they've been given luxury caravans to call home for the entire season. During Sunday's premiere, all seemed in good spirits at the news they'd be sleeping in them for the next three months, during the testing conditions of a rural Victorian winter (with all that caravan living entails – including emptying of toilet waste). The caravans are lush – but it's a bit of a downgrade from previous seasons, living in the giant house you're renovating. This year's contestants are a diverse bunch, among them two married Northern Territory police officers, a lesbian couple (who, in a slightly awkward first meeting, are initially mistaken for twins by their fellow contestants) a gay and straight best mate, and a champion pole dancer. There is another big change expected this season: The Block's mega-buyer, billionaire Adrian Portelli, should be nowhere to be seen come auction day. In an extravagant move, Portelli bought all five Block houses at last season's auctions – but later struggled to offload them. He insisted the mega-buyout was to be his Block swan song and, as Cam confessed in a recent interview, the feeling was mutual. 'To be honest we said to Adrian 'We'd love you not to come next year, if that's all right,'' Cam revealed on Nova 96.9's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie last week. Bali's best new steakhouse
I have reviewed hundreds of restaurants throughout my career . But I still don't consider myself a restaurant critic — just a writer who describes rather than criticises food. Why? Well, first of all, I'm not a chef or restaurateur. I can barely cook, and I don't believe you should judge a person until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Second, I'm too easy to please. Make me a good melted cheese toasty and you'll get the same kudos and gratitude from me as I'd give to a master chef who spent hours reducing the perfect lobster bisque. And thirdly, I don't give a toss about awards, stars and hats, including those given by Michelin guides. Their idea of good food, foie gras, steak tartare, edible flowers, etc., is not my cup of tea. So when I was invited to review Yen Social, the new Bali chapter of Yen Yakiniku, a Japanese steak restaurant in Singapore and Michelin Plate awardee, I was like, 'meh'. But when I was told the invite was for a special event, a seven-course wine pairing dinner in collaboration with Penfolds, my arm was twisted. I'm not the kind of guy who ever turns down a good bottle of red. Yen Social is set in a quiet back lane of Canggu, Bali's most popular restaurant and nightlife hub. The moment you walk into the place you know it's not going to be cheap, with thick marble benchtops, bottles of wine costing thousands of dollars adorning the walls, well-coiffed customers and two dozen staff members yelling 'Irasshai mase' — welcome — at you in Japanese. It was followed by an orgy of meat and wine: an Angus tenderloin with garlic butter sauce, Australian wagyu ribeye and Australian wagyu short rib with a clear barbecue sauce, among other cuts, with each dish matched with different Penfolds blends that culminated in a couple of glasses of Bin 389. This drop is known as baby or poor man's Grange because it costs about $100 or more at your local bottle shop compared to $600 or more for Grange Hermitage. There was also silky fried rice cooked in wagyu beef fat and a spectacular dessert: flaming tiramisu served in a chocolate Easter egg. After dinner, I had a chat with the general manager, a Frenchman called Marius, and asked him if this was the best Japanese restaurant in Bali. His reply surprised me. 'No,' he said. 'We don't do sushi, we don't do sashimi and we don't do ramen. Several places in Bali do sushi as good as the best Japanese restaurants in Paris or Tokyo. What we are,' he continued, 'is the best steak restaurant in Bali. No other place that I know of goes to the lengths that we do when selecting and ageing premium beef.' That's the hard sell. All I can say is that it was bloody delicious. Plus one more thing. Remember when I said dinner at Yen Social would cost you an arm and a leg? Well, our meal, seven courses paired with seven glasses of wine, cost $108 per person, including GST and a 10 per cent service charge that substitutes a tip. Baby joy for TV star as he prepares to welcome first child
TV star James Tobin has announced he and his wife Farrah are expecting their first child. The Sunrise presenter unveiled the happy news in a post on Instagram on Sunday, along with an ultrasound photo. 'We are excited for the arrival of Baby Tobin in November,' he wrote. Friends and fans flocked to the post to send their congratulations and well wishes to the couple. 'Massive news and congratulations! What wonderful and beautiful parents you will be!!!' Australian journalist Mark Beretta wrote. 'Fabulous news so thrilled for both of you. Sending tonnes of love,' former Sunrise presenter Samantha Armytage said. Tobin, 44, and Farrah married in an intimate ceremony at the Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory — a scenic two-hour drive from Canberra in rural NSW — in October last year.
