The clever cordless cleaner even delivers message alerts when you connect your phone to the vacuum via Samsung's SmarThings app.
When you're about to miss a call or text over the sound of the hoover, a notification pops up on the Samsung vacuum's display.
The 2025 Bespoke AI Jet Ultra can even turn off automatically whenever you receive said phone call or message.
The display also alerts you to any blockages, and tells you which cleaning mode its artificial intelligence (AI) brain has decided is best for each room.

Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra: Brainy AI
The vacuum includes a revamped version of Samsung's 'AI Optimum Tech' which can classify more surfaces than before.
As the vacuum glides across each room, it can detect different carpet types and flooring by sensing the brush load and vacuuming air pressure.
It then automatically adjusts its settings, like suction power and brush speed, to suit.
By sensing the floor type, you're always on the right setting - which not only makes cleaning less labour intensive, but can also save the cordless vacuum's battery.

Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra: Battery
According to Samsung, the Ultra can vacuum continuously for up to 100 minutes while on Min mode - the least powerful of the five cleaning modes: Min, Mid, Max, AI, and Jet.
But that time shrinks drastically if you want to use the mega powerful 400W Jet mode.
Sun tests world's thinnest vacuum at Dyson HQ – and 'PencilVac' is SAS of cleaning
While cordless vacuums are a dream to use, it never fails to surprise me just how quickly they run out of charge.
I suppose that's why the AI is there to tell me that every surface does not, in fact, require the extreme suckage of the Jet mode.
Fortunately, it comes with two battery packs - so you do have a backup.
One battery is more lightweight than the other, which Samsung says is for "quick and easy daily cleaning".
The heftier one is when you want to tackle the whole home.
The battery recharges when the vacuum is docked inside the cleaning station, and there is a separate charger for the other battery pack.
'At Samsung, we continuously search for solutions that excel at everyday cleaning,' Samsung exec Jeong Seung Moon said when the Ultra was unveiled in April.
'To meet the increasingly varied cleaning requirements of modern homes, this stick vacuum has been designed to offer powerful suction and advanced AI features in a lightweight form factor.'
NEVER MISS A CALL
First, you'll need to connect the vacuum to your phone in the SmarThings app. Here's how: Open the SmartThings app on your phone or tablet, and tap the + button to add a new device to your network.
You can then choose the Scan QR code option and scan the QR code found on the side of the Bespoke Jet stick. Alternatively, you can try the Scan nearby option or add the Jet stick vacuum manually.

How to turn on call and message alerts on your Samsung vacuum: Open the SmarThings app on your phone and select your Samsung vacuum.
Access Call and message alerts .
. Tap OK at the Keep Location turned on pop-up.

Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra: Dust buster
The SmarThings app even tells you when the vacuum is fully charged, its default suction power setting, and when its dustbin was last emptied.
The Bespoke Jet AI Ultra comes with a sleek, and stylish stand that doubles up as a clean station.
The clean station will automatically empty the vacuum's dustbin when you dock the vacuum.
According to Samsung, the clean station has a multi-layered filter system that traps a whopping 99.999% of fine dust.
The new vacuum boasts a HEPA filtration system with an upgraded fine dust filter that reduces dust particles escaping into the air - and avoids the horrid musty smell that can happen when you hoover.

Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra: What a head-ache
The vacuum comes with three brush heads, alongside all the other typical nozzle modcons.
In the box comes the Active Dual Brush head, the Slim LED Brush+, and the Pet Tool+ brush head.
It left me yearning for an all-in-one brush head, simply out of laziness.
Plus, where are we supposed to keep all of these heads, anyway?
Well, Samsung does provide you with a little carousel-style tower for all the accessories, although it's not as stylish as the clean station.
But I suppose for the eyewatering price of £1,199 - the more heads the merrier.
Samsung Bespoke Jet AI Ultra: Pricing
The vacuum, which comes in both black and mint colours, is priced at £1,199.00 at most retailers, including Samsung, John Lewis and Very.
That said, Samsung has currently slashed the price on its website by £300.00 - taking it down to £899.00.

Gtech 'flawless' vacuum bundle makes cleaning 'so much easier'
Gtech customers say the AirRAM 2 and handheld Multi vacuum bundle is a 'game changer' for keeping on top of dirt, dust and pet hair. Gtech is offering £200 off its whole-home cleaning bundle, which is said to make cleaning 'so much easier'. Shoppers can now pick up the System Cordless Vacuum and Car Kit Bundle for £249.98, a 44% discount from the usual £449.98 price tag. This includes two lightweight cordless vacuums for cleaning surfaces throughout the house, including the sofa, stairs, and car, as well as a Car Accessory Kit with a flexible crevice tool, small upholstery tool, and soft dusting brush. To get the deal, shoppers will need to add the System bundle to their basket and enter the coupon code DC76 by August 31. The Car Accessory Kit will then be automatically added to the order and the discount applied. The main device in the bundle is Gtech's AirRAM 2, the brand's cordless vacuum cleaner designed to tackle both carpets and hard floors on a single setting. Weighing 3.2kg, the vacuum is easy to manoeuvre and it boasts a low-profile handle allowing for cleaning beneath furniture, with a specifically designed brush bar that cleans awkward nooks and crannies and against skirting boards. What sets the AirRAM 2 apart from rival vacuums is its AirLOC Technology, which combines with a powered rotating brush bar to pick up larger debris when pushed forward and finer dust when pulled backwards. Other standout features include LED headlights in the brush head that illuminate hard-to-see dirt and an 'easy-empty bin' that operates with a quick slide of the ejector arm. Along with the AirRAM 2, the System bundle also includes the handheld Gtech Multi, with each device providing a combined hour of cleaning time. Once the main clean is done and dusted, users can turn to the Multi to tackle the stairs, sofa, corners and car or caravan. This smaller device has a 'powerful' brush to remove pet hair, as well as tools to reach into crevices, soft brush for delicate surfaces and much more. Both vacuums require emptying less frequently as they compress dirt and hair as it cleans, packing it down until emptied. Elsewhere Miele, is selling the Duoflex HX1 CarCare Casa vacuum cleaner for £339. This vacuum offers 'high' suction and can run for up to 55 minutes from a single charge. While, Samsung's Jet 95 Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, is £399 and comes with a Spray Spinning Sweeper for cleaning hard floors with dual wet pads. However the System Cordless Vacuum Bundle has won over thousands of Gtech customers, achieving an impressive 4.8-star rating from more than 15,000 reviews. One five-star review says: 'Super powerful, both vacuums are dead easy to use and vacuumed my flat a lot quicker than usual with better cleaning than previous vacuum cleaner. So far they're pretty much flawless.' Another adds: 'It's the best. With a teenager and two Labradors, this has been a game changer in keeping on top of the dirt, dust and fur. It's powerful and effective on hard floor and carpet and really easy to empty. The handheld also comes in very handy for the car and saved on car cleaning. Would thoroughly recommend, particularly for shedding dog owners.' Despite their four-star review hailing the System Bundle as 'excellent value', this buyer noted one potential downside, saying: 'Only drawback is having no crevice tool.' They added: 'The AirRAM is light and powerful with good battery life. Multi also powerful.' While another glowing review says: 'Made cleaning so much easier. Best vacuum ever purchased. I can vacuum my four-bed house at least four times before it needs recharging. I've just cleaned my car and the stairs and the cordless handheld is still on three bars. The vacuum is lightweight and so easy to use – I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and have no difficulty holding the vacuum.'

Global smartphone shipments growth slows in Q2 as tariff uncertainty weighs
July 14 - The growth of global smartphone shipments slowed in the second quarter as buyers, wary of U.S. tariff-driven economic uncertainty, curbed spending, especially on low-end devices, data from research firm International Data Corp showed on Monday. Shipments increased by 1% in the April-June quarter to 295.2 million units, according to the preliminary data, slower than the 1.5% growth recorded in the previous quarter. Demand in China declined in the second quarter, as subsidies failed to stimulate demand, with Apple (AAPL.O), opens new tab seeing a 1% drop. Overall demand has tapered as consumers deprioritize spending on smartphones, especially in low-end segments. Sellers have continued to push higher price points to make up for the slowdown in unit shipments by offering AI in more affordable devices, IDC said. "In the face of ongoing political challenges, the impact of war, and the complexities posed by tariffs, the 1% growth in the smartphone market stands as a critical indicator that the market is poised to return to growth," said Anthony Scarsella, research director for Client Devices at IDC. "Economic uncertainty tends to compress demand at the lower end of the market, where price sensitivity is highest. As a result, low-end Android is witnessing a crunch weighing down overall market growth," said Nabila Popal, senior research director for Worldwide Client Devices. Samsung ( opens new tab saw the highest growth, with shipments increasing 7.9% to 58 million units in the quarter. Apple roughly maintained its market share as the second-top smartphone seller, with a growth of 1.5% in shipments. IDC had in May slashed its 2025 global smartphone shipment growth forecast to 0.6% from 2.3%, citing tariff-driven economic uncertainty and a pullback in consumer spending. GRAPHIC

These upgrades collectively enhance the Flip 7's appeal to users who prioritize clarity, responsiveness, and practicality in their smartphone displays. Design and Durability: Sleek Yet Sturdy Samsung has carefully refined the Galaxy Z Flip 7's design, achieving a thinner profile of just 6.5 mm when unfolded. This sleek form factor enhances portability while maintaining a premium aesthetic. The introduction of the Armor Flex Hinge not only improves durability but also ensures a seamless folding mechanism, reducing the risk of wear over time. The device is equipped with an IP48 water resistance rating, providing protection against splashes and brief submersion. Additionally, the interior features a resin-coated finish, offering extra resilience against daily wear and tear. These design enhancements make the Flip 7 a stylish yet robust choice for users seeking a balance between elegance and reliability. Battery and Performance: Efficiency Meets Power Battery life sees a notable improvement with a 300 mAh increase in capacity, bringing the total to 4000 mAh. This upgrade enables the device to deliver up to 31 hours of video playback on a single charge, catering to users who demand longevity. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is powered by Samsung's Exynos 2500 processor, which strikes a balance between performance and energy efficiency. This advanced chipset supports smooth multitasking, powers demanding applications, and ensures the device runs efficiently without excessive battery drain. For users who value both powerful performance and extended battery life, the Flip 7 offers a well-rounded experience. However, the absence of silicon-carbon battery technology means charging speeds remain average, which could be a consideration for those who prioritize faster recharging. Camera Features: Software Over Hardware The Galaxy Z Flip 7 retains the same camera hardware as its predecessor, featuring a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP front-facing camera. While the hardware remains unchanged, Samsung has introduced AI-driven software enhancements to elevate the photography experience. The Pro Visual Engine improves image processing, delivering sharper and more vibrant photos. Additionally, a new zoom slider allows for precise magnification control, enhancing versatility in capturing distant subjects. Despite these software improvements, the camera hardware may feel outdated compared to competitors offering more advanced systems. For users who prioritize innovative camera technology, this could be a potential drawback. However, for casual photographers, the Flip 7's camera capabilities remain sufficient for everyday use. Software and Customization: A Personalized Experience The Galaxy Z Flip 7 introduces new software features that enhance its functionality and customization options. For the first time in the Flip series, the device supports Samsung Dex, allowing users to connect the phone to a monitor for a desktop-like experience. Whether you prioritize productivity or aesthetic appeal, the Flip 7's software enhancements cater to a wide range of user needs. Color Options: A Style for Everyone Samsung has introduced a vibrant new color palette for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, offering options such as coral red, blue shadow, mint, and jet black. These choices cater to diverse aesthetic preferences, making sure there's a design to match your personal style. The variety of colors adds an extra layer of customization, allowing users to select a device that reflects their individuality. Flip 7 FE: A Budget-Friendly Alternative For those seeking a more affordable entry point into the foldable phone market, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE provides a compelling option. Priced at $900, this model retains many of the core features of the Flip 6 while making minor compromises to achieve its lower cost. It offers a practical solution for budget-conscious users who want to experience the benefits of a foldable device without the premium price tag. Limitations: Where It Falls Short While the Galaxy Z Flip 7 excels in many areas, it is not without its limitations. The absence of silicon-carbon battery technology means that charging speeds remain average, which may be a drawback for users who prioritize fast recharging. Additionally, the camera hardware, while supported by software enhancements, lags behind competitors in the premium smartphone segment. This could be a concern for photography enthusiasts seeking the latest advancements in camera technology. These limitations highlight the importance of evaluating your specific needs and priorities before making a purchase decision. For users who value display quality, design, and customization over innovative camera performance, the Flip 7 remains a strong contender in the foldable smartphone market.
