Currently available on Amazon for £27.98, down from £39.99 as part of a limited-time deal, this compact speaker comes in black, blue, red, and white.
With 12W stereo sound and enhanced low-end thanks to exclusive BassUp technology, it delivers impressive audio performance for its size. The IPX7 waterproof rating makes it suitable for all-weather use, and the 5,200mAh battery promises up to 24 hours of playtime.
According to Anker, the Soundcore 2 offers '12W of pure audio power with enhanced bass thunders from dual neodymium drivers.' An advanced Digital Signal Processor ensures 'pounding bass and zero distortion at any volume.' Its straightforward controls and lightweight design also make it ideal for taking anywhere.
Rated 4.6 out of 5 stars from more than 132,000 reviews, the Soundcore 2 is one of the most highly rated speakers in its price range. As one reviewer put it: 'An unbeatable value for everyday tunes on the go!'
For those looking at similar devices, alternatives include the JBL GO 4, which features 'Big JBL Pro Sound and Punchy Bass' and holds a 4.7-star rating from over 7,800 reviews.
Another option is the Sony SRS-XB100, offering a 16-hour battery, waterproofing, and hands-free calling, with 4.6 stars from more than 2,000 reviews.
But if it's the Soundcore 2 you're after, you're not alone, its high rating and huge number of reviews show it's a popular choice.
Here's what users have been saying.
One reviewer found setup effortless and the audio loud and clear: 'Pairing takes seconds, and once it's going, you get impressively loud, clear audio with great battery life.' They added that while highs can be 'a touch tinny,' the speaker delivers outstanding quality for the price.
Another noted: 'The sound is balanced, very listenable and the volume is more than sufficient for use in a quite large room.' They described it as 'a well made, quality product' but slightly heavy at 405g.
A third review praised its durability and sound, stating, 'Battery life is amazing, the sound is much better than I thought it may be.' They added that using an equalizer app can make the sound even better.

Not all feedback was glowing. One buyer compared it to a more expensive model and found 'bass response is poor as is the top end… it produces a below par sound.' They also mentioned the Bluetooth connection was slow.
Another was disappointed by the aux input delay, saying: 'While Bluetooth is almost seamless… the aux in has a delay of almost half a second,' making it unsuitable for anything but basic music playback.
Still, for the price, performance, and user feedback, the Soundcore 2 remains a standout in its category.

When is EastEnders on this week? BBC schedule twist confirmed

EastEnders fans may be very confused by this week's BBC schedules. Once again, the hit soap has been shunted to one side for sports coverage – with tonight's episode replaced by Wimbledon. Tomorrow, Match of the Day Live will follow Poland v Sweden in the Women's Euro 2025 tournament. It's something that enrages viewers each and every year, who call for the soap genre to be given special priority on the networks. After all, this isn't just something that effects EastEnders – both Coronation Street and Emmerdale are all over the place too. This week becomes even more confusing, as episodes will air on their usual days, albeit not on television. If you watch on BBC One, the next episode of EastEnders will air on Wednesday, July 9. A double bill will air from 8pm. If you can't wait until then, the first of these instalments is available to view now on iPlayer, and will continue to drop daily at 6am until Thursday. On Thursday and Friday, the show will broadcast at the earlier time of 7pm. Confusing, right?! If you're tuning in this week, you'll see Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) try and navigate his monetary woes in the wake of Bernie Taylor's (Clair Norris) departure. After she fled with cash from his business accounts, he's forced to return to drug dealing in order to keep afloat. More Trending Storing the stash in The Arches, it's not long until it goes missing! Elsewhere, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) meddles with son Peter's (Thomas Law) love life once again, suggesting that his fiancée Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is cheating with Zack Hudson (James Farrar). You can now get snacks and fresh foods delivered in 15 minutes, thanks to Amazon

Amazon has rolled out ultra-fast grocery deliveries across the UK. The move sees a partnership with US rapid delivery firm Gopuff. The collaboration means customers can order thousands of products, from alcohol to fresh food, to be delivered in under an hour - but often as quickly as 15 minutes. The service will be available round-the-clock, and executed using Gopuff delivery from local 'micro-fulfilment centres.' The Pennsylvania-based company was one of a clutch of ultra-fast grocery delivery companies that expanded quickly during the Covid-19 pandemic when lockdowns heightened consumer demand. Turkey-based rival Getir pulled out of the UK, Europe and the US last year after its finances came under pressure and it kickstarted a cost-cutting drive. Amazon's UK roll-out of Gopuff follows an initial launch to residents in Birmingham and Salford in May. The service is now available in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chessington, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Salford, Sheffield and Swansea. It joins grocery retailers Morrisons and Iceland, which are available to Amazon's UK customers. Russell Jones, Amazon's director of grocery partnerships, said: 'We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered. 'The new launch with Gopuff brings our customers access to a convenient and affordable way to access their everyday groceries.'

‘Miss you' - Emmerdale star responds to Beth Cordingly as fans call for reunion

Former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope has been missing the joy that comes with working with Beth Cordingly. Lewis portrayed the role of Nicky Miligan from 2022-2024. He was initially introduced as a new nanny for the children at Home Farm. As time ticked on though, we discovered Nicky had an ulterior motive while working under Kim Tate's (Claire King) roof. It was confirmed he's the son of Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and the two of them were working together to destroy Kim and Home Farm. With Caleb being the son of Frank Tate, he believed he was entitled to everything that Kim owned. His plan proved the new character was utterly ruthless, as he forced Nicky to go ahead with wedding prep for him and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham), despite knowing he was gay. Life for Caleb and Nicky got even more complicated when Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), Nicky's mum, arrived. At the time, Caleb and Ruby were in the process of getting a divorce, but Ruby struggled to accept their relationship was close to ending for good. Nicky departed the village last year alongside his new boyfriend. The dynamic between him and his parents completely crumbled when he learnt of Ruby's involvement in Ethan Anderson's death, and Caleb's attempt to cover it up. With the Miligan clan still at the centre of the drama in the village, plenty of fans are still hoping Nicky will return. And Lewis Cope is certainly missing life in the Dales, in particular seeing his co-star Beth Cordingly. Recently, Beth shared a video of her in Brighton. She is dressed in a scarf and two rubber rings as she wanders down one of the coastal roads. The clip has made plenty of her followers laugh including Lewis, who shared a 'Bonkers! Miss you x', message in the comments section. Ruby and Caleb's other child, Steph (Georgia Jay), arrived in the village towards the end of last year. In a powerful storyline, Steph discovered that her mum was sexually abused by her father Anthony Fox. More Trending Reeling in the aftermath, Steph struggled to process the warped connection between her and Anthony – who is her biological father and her grandfather. The plot saw Steph determined to get plastic surgery, but it never worked. View More » She then contemplated self-harming, but was saved by Ruby and Caleb.
