Thomas Partey will not extend his time with Arsenal
The Gunners will confirm the midfielder's exit early next week, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
SunSport reported that Arsenal and Partey were negotiating over a renewal, while he has been free to speak to overseas teams since January.
Partey remained an important part of Mikel Arteta's side during 2024-25, accumulating 52 appearances in all competitions.
The Ghanaian scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 167 appearances since joining in 2020.

Arsenal are reshuffling Partey's area of the field this summer, with a deal for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi regarded as done.
Real Sociedad prefer for the move to be finalised at the start of July for accounting purposes after Profit and Sustainability Rules resets on June 30.
Arsenal are also in the process of finalising an agreement with Brentford to sign Christian Norgaard for £15million.
Partey moved to Arsenal in October 2020 from Atletico Madrid after his 42.7million release clause was met.

It was Arsenal's current sporting director Andrea Berta that sanctioned the deal during his time at Atletico.
Partey joined Atletico in 2012, before he had made his professional debut.
He made 188 first-team appearances and scored 16 goals, winning the Europa League in 2018 and finishing as a runner-up in the Champions League in 2016.

Manchester City name Denmark Women boss Andree Jeglertz as their new head coach
Former City head coach Nick Cushing stepped in on an interim basis after Taylor departed five days before the club's League Cup final defeat to Chelsea. We are delighted to confirm that Andrée Jeglertz has agreed to become the new Head Coach of Manchester City Women. The 53-year-old Swedish coach and former professional player will join the Club from the Denmark women's national football team after this summer's Euros. — Manchester City Women (@ManCityWomen) July 3, 2025 Director of football for City's women's team, Therese Sjogran, said: 'Andree brings a wealth of experience at the top of the game as well as a real hunger to drive Manchester City forward.' Sjogran added: 'Andree really impressed us with his attitude and ambition, and the way he sees the game aligns perfectly with our own vision. 'We wish him luck at the Euros this summer with Denmark and are all very excited to see what impact he can make in our bright future.' Former Malmo defender Jeglertz has an extensive CV. He won the UEFA Women's Cup – later the Champions League – with Swedish side Umea in 2004 and led them to successive finals in 2007 and 2008. After a spell in men's football with Djurgardens in 2009, Jeglertz spent six years in charge of Finland Women until 2016 before a brief return to Umea was followed by a two-year stint in charge of Linkopings. He was appointed Denmark's head coach after the 2023 World Cup and led them to this summer's Euros after they finished second behind world champions Spain in qualifying. Jeglertz said: 'Manchester City are one of the biggest clubs in the world. There is so much talent in this group. 'One of my key things is to continue the job that's been done and take it to the next level. 'We would like to win, develop players and want the players every day to become better. 'I will do everything I can to take this to the next level and make sure we can play attractive and winning football.'

Arsenal and Man Utd told to 'take a punt' on £60m star: 'He's a top player'
Arsenal and Manchester United have both been urged to make a move for 'one of the best No9's in world football' to bolster their attacking firepower. The Gunners have made no bones about their desire to sign a striker this summer, but progress has stalled as they weigh up potential deals for Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko. Arsenal had an initial proposal worth €55 million (£46.8m) plus a further €10m (£8.5m) in add-ons turned away for Gyokeres, while they are still yet to make an official offer for Sesko. United, meanwhile, have already signed Matheus Cunha and appear to be slowly closing in on the signing of Bryan Mbeumo as they look to bolster Ruben Amorim's attacking options. Recent reports, however, suggested the Red Devils are still on the lookout for a natural striker, especially if Rasmus Hojlund leaves the club in the summer. And Gary Lineker believes that both clubs – as well as other Premier League outfits – should be weighing up a move for Borussia Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy to solve their goalscoring woes. The 29-year-old scored 21 goals in 30 games in his maiden Bundesliga campaign for Dortmund, while adding a further 13 in just 14 Champions League games. Guirassy has continued his goalscoring exploits at the Club World Cup, with his brace against Monterry guiding Dortmund into the tournament's quarter-finals. 'We're still waiting to see what Arsenal do, and there are a few other Premier League sides looking for a No9 – is he worth taking a punt on?' Linker said on The Rest is Football. 'He's strong, he's quick – his finishing was really good all season and he was prolific in the Champions League as well.' The Guinea International only signed for Dortmund last summer and appears keen to stay put, but a reported £60m release clause in his contract may have several clubs interested. And Micah Richards agreed that a move for Guirassy would make sense for several English clubs. 'I think he's a top player. When you mention a No9, I think he's one of the best in world football,' said Richards. 'Sometimes, when you watch football, you see players who are easy on the eye. I don't think he's easy on the eye – sometimes the ball will come to him and he might miscontrol it – but he's got good composure when he gets it right. More Trending 'At 29, I don't think it's too old, I just think that is the modern game. Everyone wants resale value, but in terms of a player who could come in and do it right now, he's physical and could definitely do a job in the Premier League.' Alan Shearer, meanwhile, speculated that Guirassy's age and fee may put some clubs off but was stunned to not see him linked with a move away. 'If you compare him to Sesko or Gyokeres, then I think he will cost a lot of money,' the former Newcastle United and England striker said. 'He's 29 years of age so I think it would depend what you could get him for. But he' not been linked with anyone, maybe because he only signed for Dortmund last summer.'
