Meanwhile, there's bowling, laser tag and adventure gold courses as well as an arcade and plenty of food and drink options.
Bev Anderson, duty manager at the park, said: "We are all immensely proud of winning 'Best Day Out' in the Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards but most of all we are very proud of the team that have made this possible and extremely thankful to our amazing customers who voted for us.

He said: "We need to socialise, we need that break and to let off steam, escape all the day to day worries – and that's what our friends in hospitality provide.
'With many closures and difficulties, it's important to recognise those who go above and beyond to give the public that chance to zone out, relax and de-stress.
RUNNERS UP
THERE were four more venues that were highly recommended in the Best Day Out category:
Five Sisters Zoo, West Calder
M&D'S - Scotland's Theme Park, Motherwell
The Quay, Glasgow
Top Golf, Rutherglen
'That's what these awards are for – it's a nod and a thank you from the public to the place and people they appreciate, those who do it better than the rest or just offer something really special.
'So while we have big names performing here tonight, the real stars are the award winners from all over Scotland, venues and businesses who stand out every single day and night.

'Thank you to every winner, every highly recommended and every business who perhaps hasn't won tonight but is out there working hard every day to support us all – sadly there can be only one winner in each category and some are very close.'
The awards also celebrated bars with the best pub in Scotland and the best sports bar among the winners.

TikTok star with millions of followers who stormed D-Day beaches dies aged 102
Becoming a sensation on TikTok, World War Two veteran Jake Larson, also known as Papa Jake, who avoided machine gun fire when storming the beach on D-Day, has died aged 102 A much-loved World War Two veteran turned social media star who gathered more than a million followers has died aged 102. Tributes from around the world have flooded in for Jake Larson, best known as Papa Jake, after his granddaughter McKaela Larson broke the news on TikTok. Uploading the post on Saturday, July 18, she wrote: 'Our beloved Papa Jake has passed away on July 17th at 102 years young. He went peacefully and was even cracking jokes 'til the very end.' 'I am so thankful to have shared my Papa Jake with you all. You meant the world to him. When the time is right, I will continue to share Papa Jake's stories and keep his memory alive. We appreciate all the kind words and posts. As Papa would say, love you all the mostest.' In January 1942, he was sent overseas and was stationed in Northern Ireland, where he was promoted to operations sergeant and became a part of the planning for Operation Overlord - the D-Day landings. Jake was then among the Allied troops on the day who stormed the beaches of France in 1944, surviving machine-gun fire when he landed on Omaha Beach before attacking the Nazi German forces and helping to end the war a year later. Speaking to the Associated Press last month for the D-Day anniversary, Jake said:" We are the lucky ones. They had no family. We are their family. We have the responsibility to honour these guys who gave us a chance to be alive." In the years that followed, he'd head back to t hose beaches in Normandy on several occasions, always embracing fellow veterans commemorating those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. However, more than 80 years later, the Minnesota native, born December 20, 1922, embraced the digital era, where he managed to capture the hearts of a whole new generation. Creating videos about Memorial Day celebrations, stories from World War Two, and even a trip to Disney Land, the veterans' videos have been viewed tens of millions of times. He worked with his granddaughter to make many of the videos, with Jake having previously said: "I didn't even know what TikTok was until my granddaughter sent it to me one day," Jake Larson said when asked about the app. Just three weeks ago, Papa Jake achieved another accolade, co-winning an Emmy Award with journalist Christiane Amanpour for a captivating interview they conducted marking last year's 80th anniversary of D-Day. After the news broke of his passing, Christiane posted: 'So sorry to hear this. They really don't make them like Jake Larson anymore. The sacrifices he made with his Band of Brothers in WWII, and the joy he lived throughout his long life, offer an example to us all. RIP' While Normandy's Overlord Museum wrote: ' Papa Jake was more than a soldier – he was an extraordinary witness and a messenger of remembrance.'

Former Record reporter Bev Lyons turns tables by launching pop career
The Glasgow-born writer has interviewed the world's top stars. Showbiz journalist Bev Lyons has spent decades writing about everyone from Bieber to Beyonce and now she's about to release her own single. Bev, who was invited to sing at Glasgow's Pride in the Barrowland Ballroom over the weekend, can't wait to show off her self-penned song I'm Leaving You when it is released on Wednesday. The Glasgow-born writer and broadcaster, who has interviewed stars for the Record for over 20 years, began singing properly during the pandemic to entertain friends. She said: 'I've always loved performing and I used to sing at family parties when I was wee but I couldn't look at my audience 'cause I was too scared. "In more recent years I messed around in my bedroom, writing music on GarageBand.' Although Bev has always championed other stars, she did once perform with one of the UK's biggest pop names. She said: 'I won a karaoke competition to be one of Boy George's backing singers at Abbey Road for a rerelease of Karma Chameleon. It was an amazing experience and I thought that was my 15 minutes of fame.' Being a showbiz writer soon took over and Bev put her singing dreams on hold until lockdown when red carpet events came to an abrupt stop. With time on her hands she returned to her singing, taking virtual lessons from renowned vocal coach Robert Wishart. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! She said: 'I'd been thinking about adding songs to my hosting work and had contacted Robert about that – and over lockdown, I sang on Facebook and tried to entertain my then-bored neighbours with some balcony tunes.' Her performances got a thumbs-up and after Covid she was asked to appear at live gigs. She said: 'I love being able to sing tobigger audiences. 'My debut single is a pop song about life after love, inspired by songs by Cher, Miley Cyrus and Gloria Gaynor. It's a real upbeat anthem about hope, strength and survival.' Bev posted a clip of her song on social media and it's received acclaim from celeb followers including Deacon Blue's Lorraine McIntosh, Bay City Roller Stuart 'Woody' Wood, TV host Ross King, River City's Tom Urie, singers May Miller and Jesse Rae, and St Phoenix stars Alan and Stevie Jukes. Bev said: 'I'm absolutely loving the buzz and excitement just now and to be able to perform it at the iconic Barrowland Ballroom was a dream come true. 'I have been told I'll get radio play from some stations but I don't believe anything until it happens. As Oasis once said, I'll just roll with it.'
