Joanne McNally takes mum's advice after Wimbledon outfit slagging
Joanne McNally might have been serving looks at Wimbledon, but it wasn't just the Centre Court crowd paying attention. The My Therapist Ghosted Me star stepped out in a black mini-skirt along with a black vest top for the tournament and while fans on Instagram were loving it, her mum Pat had other ideas. The Irish comedian took to her stories to vent about Pat's criticism, after she told her that she should have dressed 'for the occasion.' Joanne McNally might have been serving looks at Wimbledon, but it wasn't just the Centre Court crowd paying attention. Pic: Instagram/Joanne McNally 'My mother says what I wore to Wimbledon earlier in the week was not appropriate for Wimbledon,' she began. 'Now, I'm not Wimbledon. I don't have a Wimbledon wardrobe. Okay, and in no world did I expect to be going to Wimbledon twice in one week and have to dress Wimbledony twice in one one week.' Joanne went on to explain that Pat told her 'There's just occasions where you have to dress for the occasion.' 'It was hardly like I turned up in latex lingerie. It was just a mini-skirt. Anyway, I don't have a Wimbledon wardrobe.' While Joanne seemed irritated by her mother's comments, it seems she took her advice, showing up to another day of the tournament in something a little more 'feminine.' The funny woman sported a pink linen shirt dress with a ruffle hem, teaming it with matching pink sunnies and gold accessories. Although in classic Joanne fashion, she did finish the look off with a pair of green neon biker shorts, on the off chance they ask her to play a few rounds. Don't worry Joanne, we loved the 'fit!
