Inside Love Island star Sanam's sun-soaked Ibiza hen do trip ahead of Kai Fagan wedding
Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan has jetted off to Ibiza with her friends and family for one last rodeo before she marries her reality TV fiancé Kai Fagan. One of only a handful of success stories from the ITV reality dating show, the couple got engaged in April last year.
The 27-year-old social worker has shared details of her hen do on social media, where she's posted regularly from her Spanish getaway. The first day of her trip saw her and her pals dress up in a cowgirl theme, with the stunning bride-to-be wearing a white outfit and her party all in black.
On the second day of her break abroad, the group dressed in a sunset theme, donning bright pink, red and orange colours for their outfits. They could be seen posing in front of palm trees and drinking cocktails as they excitedly celebrate Sanam's upcoming wedding.
Following a life-drawing session, the group toasted Sanam with Love Island themed champagne flutes. Another post showed her asking her followers to rate their drawings, while another saw one of her party fall asleep at a bar table after all the excitement.
Sanam and Kai, both 27, won the second winter series of Love Island in March 2023, with Kai getting down on one knee 13 months later in April last year. The proposal came as a complete shock to Sanam, who believed she was going on a normal date night in Cambridge.
Kai, who is also enjoying his stag do in Barcelona, shared the news of their engagement on Instagram at the time. He wrote: "Introducing the next Mrs Fagan.
"Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you. I love loving you, I love you and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
Sanam later updated her TikTok followers with a video, explaining she was told to dress "cute and warm" for their punting boat date night. She said: "So I'm currently about to get ready for a date night with Kai that he has set up that I know nothing about.
"All I know is that I need to dress cute and warm. I'm getting ready in my mum's house, I'm in my old room."
The former reality star, who has since returned to her day job as a social worker, admitted she didn't get many photos and videos of the big moment as it took her by surprise. She explained: "Okay, the biggest thing just happened!
"We don't have many videos of the proposal but I did not expect or see this coming. I honestly thought it was just a random date night that Kai had put together but yeah, I am so shocked and happy!"
After she said yes, the couple went for a romantic meal out together. They returned to a hotel room that was adorned with decorations, including balloons, petals and photos showing some of their best times together.
Sanam added: "Did I just say yes to the cutest guy in the world?" The couple are set to get married next week on August 1.

David Beckham and Amanda Holden lead celebrations after Lionesses' Euros triumph
Social media is ablaze with celebrations and congratulatory messages following the Lionesses' historic win in the Euro 2025 final. Tonight, England took on Spain live from St Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland, in the hopes of replicating their Euro 2022 success against Germany at Wembley. And boy did they, as Sarina Wiegman's squad triumphed over their former rivals, having lost to Spain once before in the World Cup final. With no intention of admitting defeat at any point, the 1-1 game was taken to penalties, which led to England thrashing their opponents 3-1 and going on to lift that glorious trophy. It's safe to say the scenes were emotional as the Lionesses pulled one another into hugs and wiped away tears after Alex Greenwood, Niamh Charles, and Chloe Kelly scored in their shoot-outs, causing the stadium to erupt. The reactions were just as wild back home, too, as celebrities including Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden, Rylan Clark, and Alan Carr were keen to wish captain Leah Williamson and her teammates a very big well done. 'BOOOM! Well done @Lionesses – and great to see an Arsenal star score the winning penalty. Congrats @chloekelly', posted long-time Arsenal fan Morgan on X. 'YESSSSSSS @Lionesses GO ON GIRLLLSSSS', wrote an excitable Rylan. Alongside a snap of herself with Williamson at Glastonbury last year, country music icon Shania Twain had the most fitting use for her most famous lyric, writing: 'SO happy for the Lionesses … Let's f***ing go girls!!' 'They've done it again.. Back To Back! Massive', tweeted Rio Ferdinand alongside a smiley snap with the team. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer penned: 'Champions! Congratulations @Lionesses — what a team. What a game. What drama. You dug deep when it mattered most and you've made the nation proud. History makers.' And while a homecoming parade will be held in London on Tuesday for the Lionesses, Labour leader Sir Keir previously suggested a bank holiday would not be implemented if the team were to win, despite overwhelming demands from footie fans. Over on Instagram, Spice Girl Mel B posted, 'Yes yes yesssss!!! Girl power!!!!!!!!' on her Story, while Jess Glynne, who is dating Alex Scott, also watched along from home. The Hold My Hand hitmaker shared a video of her TV and could be heard shouting: 'Come on, the girls! What are you sayin'? Oi oi! Proud of you! Come on.' Ever the supportive girlfriend, she also shared a clip of Scott, whom she began dating in 2023, presenting for BBC Sport, writing alongside it sweetly: 'My womannnnn'. Elsewhere, Holden and Carr watched the nail-biting final together, along with their crew, as they are currently away shooting their new series of Amanda & Alan's Greek Job. The hilarious TV duo filmed themselves soaking up the glory as England won the match before bursting into the Three Lions anthem. Ashley James also filmed herself and showed her family giddy with joy after Kelly successfully bagged the winning penalty, while Stacey Solomon caught the action from her widescreen TV in Pickle Cottage. The Loose Women and Sort Your Life Out star was joined by what sounded to be her entire brood, who grew justifiably rowdy once England's victory was sealed. 'Smashed it gals', Solomon wrote alongside a gorgeous clip of her sons dancing around in the living room. Also watching from home was Romeo Beckham, while dad Sir David Beckham posted a slew of pics in the aftermath of the win. Ever the patriot, the sporting legend's Insta Story was full of lion and England flag emojis as he heaped praise on the 'champions' and tagged several players, adding a special 'well done' to Michelle Agyemang. While Becks is currently holidaying in sunnier climates with his famous family and therefore not at tonight's match, one public figure who did put in an appearance was Prince William. More Trending The Prince of Wales took daughter Charlotte to the final and later shared a joint personal message in celebration. This also marked the first time the 10-year-old Princess has ever signed off an official message. It read: 'What a game! @lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn't be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @England. W & Charlotte.' The Prince of Wales, who is patron of the Football Association (FA), sat next to the PM for the match and later made his way to the pitch for the trophy ceremony. Other famous faces sharing their reactions to England's epic win this evening included Peter Andre, James Bond favourite Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jessie Ware, Ashley Cain, and Amelia Dimoldenberg. Love Island fans say they have 'no shame' amid Harry's 'game plan' as he makes savage switch
Love Island fans were adamant they had worked out Harry Cooksley's plans as he was once again involved in a drama filled episode of the ITV2 dating series Love Island fans were quick to point out the "game plan" of Harry Cooksley after yet more drama involving the 30 year old. Despite being coupled up with Helena, Harry has continuously shared cheeky and flirtatious chat with other girls in the villa. And his ways have caused former partner Shakira's head to be turned despite being in a pair with Conor. And following Friday night's dramatic antics, fans are certain they know what Harry is up to as a dramatic recoupling took place on tonight's show. There were tears for Harry as he spoke to Helena who promised she could not be friends with him in the villa or on the outside. And he was backed by the boys as he sulked. However, the recoupling led fans to have the same thoughts. With just Helena and Shakira left standing waiting to be picked, Harry said he had "disappointed myself" before saying he knows he's not perfect. He said he had "chose to ignore" the feelings he had for her as he told Shakira he was either leaving the villa alone or with her. He made his decision, with Shakira hugging him and leaving Helena left standing alone, much to the disappointment of other islanders. After Blu was left to pick Helena, she took his words on board before getting up and quickly walking away from the fire pit. And taking to social media, fans of the show made their feelings known. One user on Twitter /X said: "Harry knows Shakira is most popular with public his game plan working to a tee." And it was shown in other comments by viewers. "IF THERE IS A VOTE IM VOTING HARRY AND SHAKIRA WITH NO SHAME #LoveIsland," admitted one user. Another added: "Just watch! People will vote for Harry and Shakira," while a third said: "Yessss Harry beautiful speech, you're back in the game. Team Harry and Shakira" On Friday's edition, he was finally exposed to the villa for his actions that had caused drama between the girls for weeks - leading to a split. He had played Shakira and Helena against each other time and time again, and sat back as Helena and Shakira took the triangle drama out on each other. His exclusive pairing with Helena had left Shakira devastated after feeling isolated in recent weeks. However, just a day after moving their relationship on, Harry was hinting to Dejon how he still liked Shakira. He also hinted he wasn't that into Helena, before appearing to try and pick a fight with her at the Grafties. The awkward scenes playing out in front of the camera saw Helena end things for good. His comments about "loving" his ex Emma and him flirting with others, not to mention his chats with Shakira, all played on the awards ceremony in the vila. And the footballer also made a comment about having a better experience with Shakira than Helena. Helena ended up calling Harry "a f*****g joke". She then told him: "Shakira doesn't want you, I don't want you." With that the other Islanders smirked as Helena appeared to end things.
