Denise Richards' husband Aaron Phypers files for divorce after six years of marriage

Metro08-07-2025
Denise Richards' husband of six years, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences'.
Denise, 54, and Aaron, 52, tied the knot in 2018 after meeting in 2017 when Aaron had yet to finalise his divorce from Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan.
After just six years together, various outlets have confirmed that Aaron has filed for divorce against the Love Actually actress.
Paperwork seen by MailOnline confirms that the date of separation was just days ago on July 4, with the cause marked as 'irreconcilable differences,' with Aaron seeking spousal support from Denise.
It was reported that Denise's income – due to her reality series, acting roles, OnlyFans account, and brand deals – is estimated at $250,000 per month, while Aaron, a self-employed businessman, has not had an income since his business closed in 2024.
It has been reported that Aaron has asked to keep their assets and debts as separate property, which includes his power tools, motorcycle, and sports car.
The couple doesn't have any children together, but it was previously reported that Aaron was adopting Denise's youngest daughter Eloise, 14.
It is unclear if the adoption process was ever completed.
Denise and Aaron met at his work, a healing centre in Malibu, Quantum, which closed last year, where she visited for 'preventative DNA repair'.
The pair began dating in 2017, and within months, the couple were engaged.
The two wed in September 2018 in Malibu in a ceremony that was filmed for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a show that documented some of their relationship.
The couple hit the rocks two years after their marriage when Denise was linked to a fellow Housewives cast member, Brandi Glanville.
The rumours led Denise to leave the show after season 10 in 2020.
Speaking about her marriage recently, Denise said she would never get divorced from Aaron.
During the March premiere of her spin-off Bravo show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, she said with Aaron sitting next to her: 'I'll never get divorced again, even if we hate each other.'
Aaron said if needed, they would just 'get different homes.' But was confident that they were 'not gonna hate each other.'
Denise, who posts regularly on social media, hadn't shared an image of her husband since April 9, when she shared a video of the two of them promoting the new season of their show.
In the same month, the star also posted an image of herself with her daughter and ex, Charlie Sheen, who made a cameo on her show when they went for dinner with their daughter. https://www.instagram.com/p/DINCQUVywfA/
Denise was previously married to Charlie from 2002 until 2006. More Trending
The former couple has two daughters together, Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, who appear in Denise's Bravo series.
Richards also has a 14-year-old daughter Eloise, who she adopted in May 2011.
'I felt like I wasn't done having children, and I've always wanted to have a large family,' Richards told PEOPLE in 2012.
'And so after my divorce, I felt like, 'Oh well, I'm sure I'll soon enough get remarried and have my family [grow],' and that wasn't in the cards at the time, so I decided to expand my family on my own.'

Sharon Osbourne breaks silence after husband Ozzy's tragic death

Music manager and TV presenter Sharon Osbourne has broken her silence on social media after the heartbreaking death of her husband, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. Sharon Osbourne has broken her silence following the death of her husband Ozzy. On Tuesday, she and her family shared the heart-breaking news that the Black Sabbath legend had passed away at 76, surrounded by his family. ‌ His family stated: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis." ‌ The music manager acknowledged a heartfelt homage from musician Gavin Rossdale. The Bush lead singer posted an image with Ozzy on Instagram on Tuesday, captioning it: "RIP OZZY - a great man -a true legend - I met Ozzy through Jack just a few times but he was so warm and kind and funny and i love that memory .sending much love to his family at this difficult time. Rest in power." ‌ In response, Sharon, endearingly known as Mrs O, replied to Gavin's tribute: "Bless you." Additionally, Sir Elton John, a close friend of Sharon and Ozzy, paid a touching tribute, reports the Mirror. The 'Rocket Man' singer posted a photo with Ozzy, penning: "So sad to hear the news of @ozzyosbourne passing away. He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods - a true legend. He was also one of the funniest people I've ever met. I will miss him dearly. To Sharon and the family, I send my condolences and love. Elton xx." ‌ Ozzy's health took a turn for the worse on Tuesday, mere days after his final bow at the Back To The Beginning concert at Villa Park, the stadium he adored and the home ground of Aston Villa. His health had been in decline since his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in 2003, which he only made public in 2020. An air ambulance was called to Ozzy's Buckinghamshire estate around 10:30 am on Tuesday, with medics working tirelessly for hours to resuscitate the Black Sabbath legend. A local resident expressed their concern to MailOnline upon seeing the helicopter descend near Ozzy and Sharon's home. ‌ The neighbour shared with MailOnline: "All of us were talking about it and wondering what had happened. We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health. When we heard later that night that he had died it confirmed our worst fears." A representative for Thames Valley Air Ambulance confirmed: "We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday." The emergency aircraft, based at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire, reached the scene within 15 minutes. The distinctive red helicopter is reserved for patients in need of the most urgent critical care. ‌ Today, Ozzy's sister expressed to the Mirror her relief that he could pass away in England, fulfilling his wish to return to his homeland after spending twenty years in Los Angeles. Ozzy was fervently keen on returning to England after spending twenty years in Los Angeles, a move initially made so that his children, Kelly and Jack, could attend specialist dyslexia schools. A primary motivator for his desire to return was the gun violence prevalent in the United States. "Everything's f***ing ridiculous [in America]. I'm fed up with people getting killed every day," he expressed to The Observer.

Ozzy Osbourne's heartbreaking final remark to Jack after farewell performance

Jack Osbourne has revealed the final thing his dad Ozzy said to him following his farewell performance just days before the legendary rocker died aged 76 Ozzy Osbourne's son, Jack, has revealed the comment he made after his last ever performance, and it was filled with his iconic wit. The Black Sabbath icon, 76, joined his bandmates for one final time earlier this month in his hometown of Birmingham. ‌ He received an epic send-off surrounded by his beloved family and fellow rock icons, and he hung up his Prince of Darkness crown once and for all. Just over two weeks later, Ozzy sadly died with a statement confirming the news. ‌ Ozzy had been surrounded by the love and support of his nearest and dearest in his final weeks, with son Jack sharing a touching insight. He told his famous father about the rave reviews he had received for his Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park. ‌ Despite all the praise and attention, Ozzy had a very humorous response that showed he still had his blunt ways. Ozzy told his son: "Lot of f***ing good that does me. I'm retired now!" Revealing how he was doing after the show in a now poignant interview, Jack told the Daily Mail:"Dad's great and his mood's really high. He's in a really good spot right now." Speaking of his health issues, Ozzy's son added: "Listen, everyone gets old, everyone slows down as you age - it's part of the journey. I just try and support him as much as I can. We all do." ‌ Jack admits that the whole Osbourne family had become emotional watching Ozzu "doing his job" at Villa Park, with the family tearing up. He said that people had been reaching out to the family, showing all kinds of love for the legend. It was announced on Tuesday that after years of battling ill health, Ozzy had died at the age of 76. A statement from the Osbourne family read: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis." It's claimed that Ozzy's health had rapidly deteriorated on Tuesday morning, with an air ambulance being sent to his home in Buckinghamshire, where paramedics spent hours attempting to save him. ‌ A local resident said they became alarmed after noticing the helicopter in the quiet village and saw it landing close to Ozzy and Sharon's mansion. They told the MailOnline: "All of us were talking about it and wondering what had happened. We immediately feared it may be for him as he was known to be in fragile health. When we heard later that night that he had died it confirmed our worst fears." A spokesperson for Thames Valley Air Ambulance said: "We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday." Meanwhile, his sisters received the news via phone call hours before the Osbourne family issued their statement. Speaking from her sister Gillian's house, Ozzy's sister, Jean, told the Mirror that the last time she saw her brother, she found it "upsetting." She said: "We saw him in Birmingham the other week when he and the rest of the band were given the freedom of the city. "It was upsetting because he could not stand up straight, but he was still our John, still cracking the jokes. To us, he was our brother, not a celebrity, so it's crazy to see the outpouring of love since his death was announced. We just can't believe he is gone, and we won't be getting another phone call or text from him. Every week without fail, he would get in touch, either by phone or text, to ask how we were all doing and what was going on."

Pamela Anderson is all smiles as she leaves London's Corinthia Hotel with Liam Neeson after their true feelings about each other were 'revealed'

Pamela Anderson couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she departed London's Corinthia Hotel alongside Liam Neeson on Wednesday. The actress, 58, looked incredibly radiant as she stepped out makeup-free, sporting a chic yellow ensemble, while Liam, 73, attempted to keep low-key in a blue cap. Their joint departure from the luxury hotel comes after MailOnline's body language expert revealed the pair's true feelings about each other. Judi James shed light on the situation as she gave her verdict on whether their relationship is genuine or a showmance. Pamela and Liam couldn't keep their hands off each other during the red carpet premiere of their new film, The Naked Gun, in London on Tuesday. Fans have been unsure about the status of the co-stars' relationship after Liam admitted he 'loved' Pamela earlier this year - ahead of the film's release on 1 August. Pamela appeared in good spirits as the actress planted a sweet kiss on Liam's cheek while they posed for the cameras at the premiere. It comes after Liam joked that his favourite part of making the film was filming 'the sex scenes' with his co-star Pamela. He joked about their intimate scenes as The Sun reported the pair were given an intimacy co-ordinator on set. The star explained: 'I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'. Pamela portrays a nightclub singer, who comes to Police Squad for help following the murder of her brother, in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation. Pamela added that the intimacy co-ordinator knew when to walk away and joked that she stormed off, with Liam claiming she threw her hands up in the air and said, 'I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee'. However, despite their undeniable chemistry, both on-screen and off, there is no true romance between the co-stars. An insider told the Daily Mail, 'Liam has long felt that he isn't going to date anymore and this connection with Pam is nothing more than an incredible friendship that they will share forever. 'Liam is in love with Pam, but only as friends. Some might confuse their bond for something more.' Last week, Pamela also set the record straight on romance rumours between the pair as the Baywatch queen posed for Entertainment Weekly for their digital cover. And unfortunately there is no romance yet. 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam,' she said. 'And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy.' Liam stars in the film as as Los Angeles Police Squad detective Frank Drebin Jr., son of Nielson's Frank Drebin. It comes after in October Liam said he was 'madly in love' with the Playboy cover girl. 'She's just terrific to work with,' he told People. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' 'Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another,' Pamela told EW last month. 'I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed "professionally romantic" during filming.' The Canadian-American beauty and Liam bonded over their shared 'love of literature and a good laugh' and she regularly left cookies, muffins, and homebaked sourdough bread in his dressing room. 'I am in awe of him, his experience, and work ethic. I soaked him in like a sponge,' Pamela gushed. 'I'm hoping people love it. We had so much fun making it. I think it's timely for a beloved comedy like this. I'm a fan of the originals. As Liam says, "We could all use a good giggle." I pray we do more.' And the feeling was definitely mutual for Liam who gushed to People last October: 'I'm madly in love with her. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' Liam is technically five years older than original Naked Gun star Leslie Nielsen was when he shot the third film. Pamela previously worked with the late funnyman - who died, age 84, in 2010 - in Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Superhero Movie (2008), but they did not share any scenes together. This September, the Sonsie Skin co-founder will fly to England to shoot a mystery role in Sally Potter's upcoming funeral drama Alma alongside Dakota Fanning and Lindsay Duncan. In April, Pamela was in Australia filming her role as two-time divorcée Molly in Kornél Mundruczó's upcoming drama Place to Be alongside Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi. Last September, Anderson was hard at work on the Spanish set of Karim Aïnouz's dark satire Rosebush Pruning for Mubi alongside Elle Fanning, Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, and Lukas Gage. The 15-time Playboy cover girl experienced a full-blown career resurgence last year after starring in Gia Coppola's drama The Last Showgirl, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.
