CNN is also losing Brian Rokus, who is joining C-SPAN as a producer for Book TV, where he will produce special programming and series for the network's dedicated audience of non-fiction book lovers. Rokus spent 25 years at CNN, most recently overseeing the evening newsgathering operation for its Washington, D.C. bureau.
In non-departure news, the network announced that Zachary Cohen is being promoted to senior reporter on the Pentagon team. Cohen previously served as a national security writer and reporter for CNN Politics.
Justice O'Donnell: NBC News is promoting Kelly O'Donnell to chief justice and national affairs correspondent. In this role, she will lead the network's coverage of the Justice Department for all platforms. O'Donnell was previously the network's senior White House correspondent.
New additions: MSNBC announced a pair of new hires with Keith Dilanian and Erielle Reshef joining the network in Washington, D.C. and New York City, respectively. Dilanian is MSNBC's justice correspondent, while Reshef joins as a national correspondent and fill-in anchor. Dilanian joins MSNBC from NBC News, where he has been a justice and intelligence correspondent since 2023. Reshef was previously with ABC News as a national correspondent.
NYC Bound: Fox Weather is welcoming Bayne Froney as its newest on-air meteorologist based at Fox Weather HQ in New York City. Forney was previously with the NBC-affiliate WLEX-TV in Lexington, Kentucky. "I'm looking forward to working with the talented group of meteorologists at Fox Weather," Fornery said.

George Conway says Trump not ruling out Maxwell clemency ‘just insane'
Attorney George Conway criticized President Trump on Friday for not completely ruling out a pardon for convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell at the center of the Jeffrey Epstein case. His words came after Trump told reporters earlier in the day that he was 'allowed' to grant Maxwell clemency but hadn't considered taking the measure. 'She is a sexual predator. She was found guilty of doing these things. She [was] found guilty of, she would take the passports away from these girls, who they dragged to Epstein island. She did all of this stuff,' Conway said during an appearance on CNN's 'The Lead with Jake Tapper.' 'She's neck deep, way in.' 'And so the notion that they would give her clemency is just insane,' he added. Conway, a staunch Trump critic, joins a chorus of Democrats and even some conservatives who are railing against the Trump administration for failing to release files related to the Epstein case. Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, and Maxwell, who's now serving a 20-year sentence, were convicted for sex trafficking and other charges. Maxwell appealed her guilty verdict and is fighting to have her case heard before the Supreme Court. This week, she met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about the case. During those meetings, the Justice Department granted her limited immunity in exchange for her candor, ABC News reported. However, some, including Conway, said she can't be trusted. 'The Justice Department trashed on her credibility back when they prosecuted her,' he told Tapper on Friday. 'They said that she couldn't be trusted under oath.' Trump was notified that his name was listed in files tied to Epstein's dealings earlier this year. But the president denies any wrongdoing and says those seeking information about his involvement with the deceased financier are engaging in a 'witch hunt.'

In the end, Hedford ends up merging with the entity and remaining with Cochrane on the planet where they can have a life and live out their remaining years together. In a new interview with Woman's World, Donahue, 88, reflects on her memorable Star Trek appearance, including what it was like working with Shatner, with whom she shared most of her scenes. 'I went to a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas a few years ago, and that was quite amazing, although Star Trek certainly became a phenomenon very early on. You could see that that was going to have legs for a long time. And William Shatner was interesting, let's put it that way," said goes on to say that he was "a little tough" on her because she was nervous in the dress rehearsal. He saw that I was professional about my work and giving my best. That's all you can ask somebody, is to do their best, and it's what I've always tried to do," said also added that she and Shatner "ended up getting along fine." Donahue also reflected on her decades-long career in show business, saying that her life "sounds quite unbelievable" at times. "If I were hearing it from someone, I'd say, 'Oh come on, that can't possibly be true.' But all told, it was all just so magical.
