Brendan Rodgers in Hatate and Carter-Vickers injury update
Rodgers recently moved to clear up any points of uncertainty: "Cam had some issues around the end of last season," he said [SunSport].
"But we decided this was really important for him and he needed that to get the operation.

"We knew then the recovery time would mean he'd miss a week.
"But he's back working again and, hopefully, [will] be ready for the next few weeks.
"With Reo, was just a shame for him. He's had a few extra few days but he'll come back in and he'll be fine."
Rodgers also confirmed that veteran winger James Forrest will be fit to travel to Ireland for Celtic's upcoming pre-season friendly against Cork City on Tuesday.
It comes after the Scottish Premiership champions defeated Queen's Park by a goal to nil on Friday, as Johnny Kenny's first-half strike proved the difference between the sides.

Hibs have made Scotland defender Grant Hanley aware of their interest in offering the 33-year-old free agent a new opportunity in the Scottish Premiership. And David Gray is keen to land the experienced stopper to bolster a back three already strengthened by the return of Rocky Bushiri and a new deal for Jack Iredale. Hanley is still out of contract after leaving Birmingham City at the end of last season. He joined the Blues on loan in January and helped them to win promotion to the EFL Championship. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad The former Newcastle, Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City defender has won 62 caps for Scotland. He has a number of options to remain in England, where he's played all of his senior football. Gray has built a solid back three around the dominating figure of Bushiri, who explored other options as a free agent before singing a new deal with Hibs in the summer. Iredale also has his place set in stone on the left of the back three. Warren O'Hora and Lewis Miller have been competing for game side on the right of the trio. And Gray sees Hanley as someone who could contend for a starting place anywhere along the back line. Hibs were linked with former captain Ryan Porteous earlier in the summer. Gray has put the addition of a central defender near the top of his list, along with seeking a defensive midfielder to cover for the expected loss of Nectar Triantis - and a striker to back up Kieron Bowie, Martin Boyle and record £1 million-plus signing Thibault Klidje.

Celtic 'send' Paul Tisdale to watch European centre-back
The 24-year-old currently plies his trade with Allsvenskan outfit Hammarby. Tisdale, Celtic's head of football operations, has been sent to watch Eriksson in action against Belgian side Charleroi on Thursday night, claims The Scottish Sun. It is said that his services are available for a 'bargain' £2 million fee. Read more: Eriksson joined Hammarby last summer after a brief six-month stint with Minnesota in the MLS. He has since turned out 39 times for the Swedish club, scoring one goal and assisting two. Links to Eriksson come as Celtic look set to secure the services of another central defender, Jahmai Simpson-Pusey. The 19-year-old will reportedly undergo a medical in Glasgow tomorrow ahead of joining the Scottish Premiership champions on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City. Simpson-Pusey has appeared six times for Pep Guardiola's first team and was named Premier League 2 Player of the Year for the 2024/25 season. He could become Celtic's seventh summer signing, following the arrivals of Ross Doohan, Kieran Tierney, Callum Osmand, Benjamin Nygren, Hayato Inamura and Shin Yamada.
