Daily Mail10-06-2025
The German model who stepped out with Romeo Beckham revealed on Tuesday that she is recruiting for a PA.
Caroline Daur, 30, raised eyebrows this week when she was spotted on a night out with the footballer, 22, just weeks after he split from girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
The supermodel, who has attended his mum Victoria Beckham 's fashion shows in the past, is looking to hire a paid intern.
In the advertisement, which she shared to her Instagram Story, Caroline detailed the role and explained that she needed help with social media and travel organisation.
The successful candidate will be able to speak both English and German and be based in Hamburg.

Caroline has made a name for herself in recent years as a fashion blogger, under the name Caro Daur - and has even been given the seal of approval from Victoria Beckham herself already.
Victoria has longtime been a fan of Caroline's and in 2018 her Facebook page reposted a snap of Caroline wearing one of her designs.
Caroline has also attended several of Victoria's fashion shows.
She is proud of the fact she is 'self-made', previously stating: 'I don't have an agent, manager or assistant. I do everything by myself.'
The social media star first achieved prominence in the 2010s when she launched her blog Carodaur.com, and now boasts 4.6 million Instagram followers, with a further 1.1 million on TikTok.
Caroline - who studied business in school - worked for a headhunting company while building up her brand but is now a full-time influencer and model with a net worth of €4 million.
By 2016 she had become the first German blogger to achieve more than one million Instagram followers and went on to land the cover of Japanese Vogue as well as walking for Dolce & Gabbana during Milan Fashion Week.
Caroline also started branching out into other forms of media, appearing as a guest judge on Germany 's Next Top Model, and launching her own series of online workout videos.
In the advertisement, which she shared to her Instagram Story, Caroline detailed the role and explained that she needed help with social media and travel organisation
In 2019, Caroline - who is the daughter of lawyer Harald and manager Monika - was mentioned in Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
The blogger previously revealed that she only sleeps four to five hours a night because her mind 'is always somewhere', and this year revealed she'd been diagnosed with ADHD.
Detailing her diagnosis, she said: 'It didn't surprise me – and it didn't surprise anyone around me either. The diagnosis came late, but it explained so much.
'My brain is like an internet browser with 47 tabs open. Sport is the only way I can calm it down. This morning I worked out at 7am, even after a short night. Without it, I just don't function.'
Of her ability to make it as a blogger, she mused: 'My success came from consistency and treating my work seriously. I didn't just smile in front of the camera – I planned, negotiated, edited, and built a business.'
Caroline is also set to make her TV debut, having landed a role in German Netflix series She Said Yes which filmed last year.
As a result of her newfound fame, Caroline has found himself moving in several high-profile circles.
She is believed to be currently single after an on/off relationship with podcaster Tommi Schmitt.
The pair were last linked together in February, with friends of the couple claiming they split because of their 'different views on a shared future.'
She is followed on Instagram by the Beckham clan, as well as Romeo's ex Kim and Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz.
Victoria Beckham has longtime been a fan of Caroline's and in 2018 her Facebook page reposted a snap of Caroline wearing one of her designs.
Caroline has also attended several of Victoria's fashion shows.
After Romeo was spotted with the stunning influencer in Paris on Saturday night, it was claimed the pair had bonded over their love of tennis, with both attending the Men's Singles Semi Final at the French Open on Friday.
The model jumped into a car with Caroline and other pals after enjoying an evening together, keeping the fun going as they went on to party Julia nightclub in the French capital into the early hours.
A source told MailOnline of the outing: 'Romeo was in town for work meetings, Roland Garros and also caught up with friends.
'He had dinner with his three friends one of whom is great friends with Caro so she joined the group. It was a casual dinner in a group setting throughout the evening.'
Despite the casual group outing, the pair appeared keen to not be snapped together as they left the venue separately before climbing into the same car alongside mutual friend, French Vogue Culture Director Dan Sablon.
Dan recently styled Romeo for his French Vogue fashion story.
Romeo cut a casual figure for the outing, opting for a black sweater teamed with dark tracksuit bottoms and blue trainers.
Meanwhile, Caroline dressed to impress in a strapless little black dress teamed with knee-high black boots.
Friends say that things remain 'amicable' between the Romeo and ex Kim, and that their parting is 'nothing to do' with Kim being blamed by Nicola Peltz for being the catalyst for the feud that has ripped the Beckham family apart.
One said: 'Romeo and Kim are both young and they had a lovely time together but at that age things don't always last forever and they decided to split up.
'They have been friendly since and have even been at the same venues. It's a huge shame, particularly as David and Victoria really adored her and thought she made Romeo happy but it wasn't to be.
'It happened a couple of weeks ago and relations have remained friendly between them.
'David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola and Brooklyn because that simply isn't the case.
'The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too, there is lots of travelling for both of them at having a relationship at this time isn't all that conducive to their lives.'
Kim attended several of David's birthday celebrations. She was present at the former England captain's party at the end of March at Cipriani restaurant in Miami.
She also joined David, Victoria, and Romeo's younger brother Cruz, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel and sister Harper on their trip to France where they visited a vineyard in Bordeaux and a restaurant in Paris.
Kim was also at the big dinner at Core restaurant in Notting Hill, West London.
She has been at the centre of the rift after Nicola, 30, claimed that she felt uncomfortable around her, with sources close to the US heiress saying that Kim had dated Brooklyn when they were teenagers.
That was the reason the couple gave for not attending any of David's celebrations.
However, in fact she enjoyed a romance with his close friend Rocco Ritchie, the son of Guy Ritchie and Madonna.
Kim, is the well-heeled granddaughter of renowned post-war sculptor and painter William Turnbull, while her father Alex Turnbull and uncle Johnny were part of the post-punk band 23 Skidoo, formed in 1979.
Kim and Brooklyn were undeniably close for a brief period – as photographs of them together at the time show - but suggestions that they were ever an item are wide of the mark, according to well-informed sources.
That Kim has now been 'thrown to the wolves' as the reason behind the family row is 'deeply upsetting' to Brooklyn's parents and brothers.
In fact, younger brother Cruz, 20, personally shut down the gossip recently when he responded to an Instagram post showing a picture of Romeo and Kim together.
In a now-deleted message, one user commented: 'It's appropriate to date your brother's ex too? Cool.'

Victoria Beckham seemingly snubs Brooklyn's wife Nicola again amid family feud

VICTORIA Beckham has seemingly snubbed eldest son Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz as the famous family's feud rumbles on. The fashion designer's Instagram behaviour has been put under the spotlight shortly after she appeared to intervene in the high-profile clash to offer an olive branch. 7 7 Nicola, 30, and Brooklyn, 26, have reportedly been keeping their distance from his family, after they failed to attend dad David's 50th birthday party. Chef and photographer Brooklyn has continued to gush over his actress spouse throughout - despite "cutting off brothers Cruz and Romeo" in the drama - amid fears he's "obsessed" with his marriage. Victoria then confirmed neither Nicola or Brooklyn would feature in her upcoming documentary - in suggestions of another snub. Yet after 'liking' budding photographer and chef's recent Instagram reel, the mum of four, 51, has followed up with approval for more of his snaps. Yet in a cryptic move, while she has hit the heart button on images featuring him, those that also included Lola star Nicola have been left un-liked. Through July, she has liked every one of Brooklyn's posts - but only if they do not feature his actress spouse. Yet this may be because the busy fashion designer had missed a handful of his uploads. Neither Nicola or Brooklyn have returned the favour and approved her uploads. Nicola was previously accused of "controlling" husband Brooklyn - who frequently gushes over his spouse on social media. Meanwhile, Victoria and Nicola reportedly fell out in the run-up to Nicola's marriage to Brooklyn in 2022 in a row over Posh not designing the wedding dress. Brooklyn Beckham unfollows his brothers just hours after reaching out to sister Harper on her birthday The daughter of US billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz ended up walking down the aisle at her family's mansion in Miami in a gown by Italian fashion legend Valentino. SHOW SNUB? Fans recently suspected A Mind Of It's Own singer had dealt another snub to the pair after it was confirmed they would be a no show for her new series. Spice Girl singer Victoria's long-awaited Netflix programme is due for release in October. The Beckham Family Feud April 2022: Brooklyn marries Nicola Peltz. Wedding Dress Controversy: Rumours begin circulating that there's tension between Nicola and Victoria Beckham after Nicola chooses not to wear a Victoria Beckham -designed wedding gown. Nicola later clarifies in August 2022 (and again in March 2023) that Victoria's atelier couldn't make the dress in time, but reports in May 2025 suggest Victoria actually changed her mind about making the dress. Post-Wedding (2022 onwards): Minimal interaction between Nicola and Victoria on social media, and noticeable absence of Nicola at key Beckham family events. Alleged Wedding "Hijack": In May 2025, a source claimed Victoria "ruined" part of the wedding by allegedly hijacking a dance with Marc Anthony, which was meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. Nicola reportedly ran from the room crying. March 2025: A resurfaced TikTok of Romeo and Cruz mimicking a "baby voice" (which fans associate with Nicola) sparks speculation of sibling shade. April 2025: Brooklyn and Nicola are reportedly absent from Victoria Beckham's 51st birthday celebrations in Miami and her Paris Fashion Week show. May 2025: David Beckham's 50th Birthday Snub: Brooklyn and Nicola are notably absent from David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations in London, despite being invited. Reports suggest their absence was due to Brooklyn not wanting to be in the same room as Kim Turnbull, the girlfriend of Romeo who had previously been reported to have been dating Brooklyn, who David allegedly opted to have at the party over Nicola. Rumours emerge of a falling out between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo, reportedly due to Romeo's new girlfriend, DJ Kim Turnbull, who allegedly had a past connection with Brooklyn. Reports surface that the Beckham parents are "hurt and disappointed" that Brooklyn is "playing no part in family life." Sources claim that tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and his parents are "definitely not beyond repair." June 2025: Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly enlist a "crisis team" similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for "reputation management" due to the growing media scrutiny. Cruz Beckham posts cryptic lyrics on Instagram that some interpret as a swipe at Brooklyn. July 2025: Reports indicate David and Victoria are "desperate" to reconcile with Brooklyn. Brooklyn publicly wishes his sister Harper a happy 14th birthday on Instagram, tagging Nicola, which is seen as a potential "olive branch" and a rare public message to his family amid the rumored rift. Brooklyn UNFOLLOWS his brothers Romeo and Cruz just 24 hours after his birthday message to Harper. Nicola quickly follows suit and also ditches the Beckham bros from her Instagram following. Romeo and Cruz are now also no longer following Brooklyn. It is understood she will not touch on the simmering feud with her eldest and his spouse - although she has promised there will be 'tears' in the four-parter. The Sun can also confirm how Nicola and Brooklyn will not be in Victoria's upcoming show - but that is because no scenes were filmed with them. A source added to us: 'The children hardly feature — it's simply not a case of Brooklyn and Nicola being cut, as they weren't in it to start with. "This is very much a project focussing on Victoria's transaction from pop star to businesswoman and designer." The Sun has learned that Victoria comes across 'brilliantly' - continuing from her scene-stealing one-liners in David's own four-parter. OLIVE BRANCH The Sun was first to report how pop legend Elton John said his piece to his godson Brooklyn on the family difficulties during a swanky lunch. The legendary singer, 78, has publicly praised Brooklyn and Nicola on social media while the feud has been making headlines, and he has even hung out with them in Cannes. We revealed Elton 'briefly' touched on the family feud before sticking to more neutral territory. 'Elton is the showbiz equivalent of Switzerland,' said a source. 'He's utterly neutral in this row. 'Elton of old may have relished in taking sides - in this case his young godson, Brooklyn - but two years off his 80th birthday, he's a man who has seen and done it all. 'He just wants everyone to be happy. There is no side-taking as such; he simply adores his godson, and really has a laugh with Nicola who he thinks has a great sense of humour. "He wants to look after them in his role as 'spiritual adviser' as a godfather, it's a role he takes seriously. 'Elton and David think the situation is terribly sad, and has gently suggested to all involved that life is short — and to patch things up." Victoria then appeared to intervene after the Rocket Man vocalist's involvement. She liked Brooklyn's latest Instagram reel showing him rustling up pasta in the kitchen, suggesting tensions could be thawing. 7 7

Gary Lineker claims BBC departure was ‘a case of quit or be quitted'

Gary Lineker has claimed his departure from the BBC was a case of 'quit or be quitted'. The former Match Of The Day presenter was asked if his departure from the corporation was 'of his own volition, or a case of quit or be quitted?' to which he replied 'the latter', during an interview with The New World, formerly known as The New European. Advertisement The 64-year-old left the BBC early following a post about Zionism which featured a depiction of a rat, historically an antisemitic insult, which he apologised for, saying he stands 'against all forms of racism'. Lineker said he did not blame BBC director-general Tim Davie for his departure. Photo: Nick Potts/PA. The presenter will no longer front BBC coverage of the 2026 World Cup or the FA Cup next season as had been intended, with his last episode of Match Of The Day coming on May 25th. Speaking about his departure, Lineker said: 'That's what changed after that. I made a mistake and I immediately took it down and apologised, which I thought should have been enough.' He went on to say that he believed he had complied with the BBC's impartiality rules as he had looked at the war in Gaza 'without a vested interest'. Advertisement Lineker added: 'I've got no skin in the game. I'm not Muslim, I'm not Palestinian, I'm not Israeli, I'm not Jewish. I come from a place of complete impartiality. And then it becomes about truth. 'People talked about me being antisemitic. I'm not anti-any group of people. Any race, any colour. But I am anti the killing of children.' The former England striker went on to say he did not blame director-general Tim Davie for his exit, adding: 'Tim Davie I know and I get on well with. I know how difficult it is for him with what's going on. 'Do I dislike people at the BBC? Not the people that I know.' Advertisement At the time of Lineker's departure, Davie said in a statement that the pair 'agreed he will step back from further presenting after this season', after the former presenter 'acknowledged the mistake he made'. Davie added: 'Gary has been a defining voice in football coverage for the BBC for over two decades. His passion and knowledge have shaped our sports journalism and earned him the respect of sports fans across the UK and beyond. We want to thank him for the contribution he has made.' In his own statement, Lineker said that 'stepping back now feels like the responsible course of action'. The ex-Barcelona player went on to say in The New World interview that he has toned down his use of social media following the incident. Advertisement He explained: 'Social media's changed a lot. People say to me 'when did you start having a view on things?', and I say 'well I've always had a view but social media gave me the platform'. 'Perhaps I wish it hadn't. I've come off X completely. I only use it to promote a podcast now. It's just become horrible. Nasty.' Lineker also runs Goalhanger Podcasts which produces podcasts such as The Rest Is Football, The Rest Is History, The Rest Is Politics, and The Rest Is Entertainment, and the Leicester-born star revealed in the interview that his company would soon produce a science podcast. The Rest Is Football podcast, which Lineker presents alongside former footballers Micah Richards and Alan Shearer, moved from the BBC to British internet sports streaming platform DAZN following Lineker's BBC exit. Star Wars film slapped with new trigger warning 26 years after it was first released

STAR Wars has become the latest iconic film to be slapped with a trigger warning - 26 years after it was first released. Episode I: The Phantom Menace became a hit upon release in 1999 but now film bosses have been forced to add a new warning amid the growing trend in slapping classic hits with refreshed warnings for 2025. 3 3 Starring Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley and Samuel L. Jackson, the movie became a runaway box office hit. But now new warnings have been added as well as a re-classification understood to be provoked by an aggressive fight scene. The British Board of Film Classification have decided that a 'U' certificate, which stands for universal and means suitable for all ages, is no longer appropriate. It has instead been rated PG - often used to suggest films suitable for those aged eight and above or with parental consent - as a result of brief "bloody detail" and "non-graphic" shots of a dissected body. The film's starship dogfights and use of laser weapons were also used as a reason to upgrade the movie's classification. All these were attributed as the reason why the film must carry a new classification plus an updated warning. It is the latest in a long-line of films and TV shows from years gone-by to face a new warning added for broadcast in 2025. ITV show Inspector Morse found itself slapped with a warning last week as a result of its "crime scenes". ITV bosses fear viewers may get offended or upset while the mild-mannered Oxford detective solves his mystery of the week. Streaming service ITVX even warns of 'Satanic images' in one episode of the crime drama, which ran from 1987 to 2000. Viewers must click past a parental control screen to watch series seven's 'Day of the Devil'. Many other episodes also have crime and violence warnings. The Fast Show has also found itself hit with a warning last month. The classic series on iPlayer was flagged for using 'discriminatory language'. In February, Channel 4 was branded 'humourless' for flagging a series of Father Ted episodes on its streaming service. Regulators also hit Graham Linehan's Bafta-winning sitcom The IT Crowd with advisories, with one telling sensitive viewers: 'This episode was made in 2006 and contains strong, strong/offensive derogatory language and adult humour.' 3
