This 1-hour 53-minute horror thriller film will send chills down your spine, climax will leave you speechless, has IMDb rating of 6.6, movie is…, lead actors are…
The film we're talking about is 30 Days of Night, released in 2007 and directed by David Slade. Based on the comic book of the same name, the movie is set in Barrow, Alaska, where the sun disappears for 30 days during winter. As the town settles into darkness, a group of ruthless vampires arrives, turning the peaceful community into a feeding ground. Josh Hartnett stars as Sheriff Eben Oleson, a man who must lead the survivors, including his estranged wife Stella (played by Melissa George), in a desperate battle against bloodthirsty creatures that show no mercy. How were the performances?
Danny Huston's performance as the terrifying vampire leader Marlow added to the intensity. His cold, emotionless portrayal left a lasting impression on audiences. Other actors like Ben Foster, who plays a creepy stranger preparing the town for the vampire attack, and Mark Boone Junior, who plays a local with a heroic streak, add depth to the small-town vibe and the growing horror. How was the box office reception?
The film was made on a budget of approximately Rs 250 crore and earned over Rs 625 crore worldwide. Its gritty visuals and unique setting helped it stand out, earning a solid IMDb rating of 6.6. It is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video and in some regions, it can also be found on YouTube Movies. The sequel to 30 Days Of Night
Due to its success, the film led to a sequel in 2010 titled 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. The sequel follows Stella Oleson, now portrayed by Kiele Sanchez, as she travels to Los Angeles to expose the existence of vampires and take revenge. However, the sequel didn't connect with viewers the same way and received mixed reviews, with a lower IMDb score of 4.3. Still, the original remains a must-watch for horror fans, which is still remarked as best and terrifying vampire based movies ever made.

Worst movie ever? Ice Cube's 'War of the Worlds' gets 0% on Rotten Tomatoes
'War of the Worlds' on Prime Video, the reboot of the sci-fi movie, has landed an infamous 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Ice Cube stars in 'War of the Worlds' alongside Eva Longoria.(X/@ripemocanadian) At the time of writing, the site shows a 0% rating based on 12 reviews. The movie managed a meagre 3.2 out of a possible 10 on IMDb as well. Both of these are review aggregator sites, with Rotten Tomatoes allocating scores based on audience and critic reviews separately. The film stars Ice Cube, of NWA fame. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria appears alongside the rapper. The movie's logline is 'a thrilling out-of-this-world adventure that is filled with present-day themes of technology, surveillance, and privacy.' 'War of the Worlds' is adapted from the 1898 novel by HG Wells, and Ice Cube plays Will Radford, a government analyst who finds his life upended when aliens invade earth. For context, the 1953 adaptation of Wells' work has a 89 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 7 out of 10 on IMDb, while the 2005 one, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise, has a 76 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb. What critics are saying about 'War of the Worlds' (2025)? Variety, which called the movie a 'disaster' was especially harsh. 'Even with a Prime subscription, you have to sit through two minutes of ads to watch 90 more of what amounts to a feature-length commercial for all things Amazon,' the critic said. The ABC4 Utah critic, meanwhile said 'Told entirely through screens and digital devices, this 'screenlife' thriller tries to bring H.G. Wells' classic into the tech era, but not only fails at being entertaining, but fails at being a movie itself.' A viewer also slammed the film, saying 'How and why was this made? As other reviewers stated, it's loaded with Amazon product placement and extremely unwatchable. The terrible script and dialogue is too cringe for the usual B-movie laughs and patronizing. Save yourself and give this a hard pass.' Social media was no kinder, with one individual sharing a screenshot of a flash drive seen on the Amazon product page, and stated this was 'an actual shot' from the film. 'This new #waroftheworlds movie might be the worst movie i have seen in years,' another commented. 'The film's tagline — 'It's worse than you think' — sums up the entire movie', quipped another. Directed by Rich Lee, the movie was released by Universal Pictures on Amazon Prime Video on July 30, 2025.

According to India Today, the doctor, Abhinit Gupta, is a popular dermatologist in the city and runs the Poison Skin Clinic there. The case dates back to 2022, when the doctor received a call from a man who identified himself as Karan Singh and claimed he had strong connections in television production circles. Karan assured Dr Gupta that he could secure his entry into Bigg Boss through unofficial channels. The report claimed the doctor allegedly paid Karan Rs 10 lakh. However, suspicion arose when his name did not feature on the final list of contestants for that season. 'Dhadak 2' Box Office collection day 4: Siddhant Chaturvedi-Triptii Dimri's film earns just Rs 1.4 crore on Monday; faces heat from ‘Mahavatar Narsimha' and Ajay Devgn's ‘Son of Sardaar 2'
Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri teamed up for 'Dhadak 2', a film that had all the right ingredients, powerful performances, a meaningful message, and mostly decent reviews. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, this Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Pariyerum Perumal' was expected to make waves at the box office. But four days in, the numbers tell a different story. Dhadak 2 Movie Review A promising weekend, but a worrying Monday After a fair start on Friday, the film managed to grow over the weekend. 'Dhadak 2' opened with Rs 3.5 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 3.75 crore on Saturday, and peaked on Sunday with Rs 4.15 crore, its best day yet. However, the real test came on Monday, and unfortunately, the film stumbled. Early estimates suggest that 'Dhadak 2' collected only Rs 1.40 crore on Day 4, taking its total box office collection to Rs 12.80 crore. Although a drop is normal on Mondays, this sharp fall has raised concerns about the film's long-term performance, especially since it didn't see a major jump even during the weekend. Facing a tough crowd at the box office One major reason behind 'Dhadak 2''s struggle could be the strong competition it is up against. The film released alongside Ajay Devgn 's 'Son of Sardaar 2', which performed better with Rs 2.50 crore on Monday, and a four-day total of Rs 27.25 crore. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Salatiga: New Container Houses – Take A Look At The Prices! Container homes | Search ads Learn More Undo Another strong contender is 'Mahavatar Narsimha', which made a solid Rs 8 crore on Monday. And then there's 'Saiyaara', a clear crowd favourite that continues to draw audiences, earning Rs 2.5 crore on Monday alone. With such big titles in theatres, 'Dhadak 2' is struggling to hold its ground and attract footfalls. A new story, not a direct sequel While the film is titled 'Dhadak 2', it is not a continuation of the 2018 film 'Dhadak'. Instead, it stands alone with a fresh storyline and characters. The plot follows a law student who falls in love with his classmate. But things take a dark turn when her family begins to harass him due to caste differences. The film tries to tackle social injustice through a love story. Day 4 occupancy 'Dhadak 2' saw modest theatre attendance on Monday, with an overall Hindi occupancy of 14.26%, as per early data. The film struggled to fill seats in the morning with just 8.36%, but witnessed a slight improvement as the day progressed, 15.30% in the afternoon, 14.59% in the evening, and 18.80% during night shows. Box office performance so far Day 1 (Friday): Rs 3.5 crore Day 2 (Saturday): Rs 3.75 crore Day 3 (Sunday): Rs 4.15 crore Day 4 (Monday): Rs 1.40 crore (early estimates) Total (4 days): Rs 12.80 crore Will the film bounce back? The big question now is whether 'Dhadak 2' can pick up pace again. With just Rs 1.40 crore collected on Day 4, the chances of it reaching a big milestone soon look slim unless something changes mid-week. It's not impossible, but for that to happen, the film will need to gain a stronger hold at the box office, especially in the face of heavy competition.
