Fawad Khan's 'Abir Gulaal' songs removed after Pahalgam terror attack
Abir Gulaal
, starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, has encountered major setbacks following the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. The attack, which claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists, has sparked outrage across the country, leading to widespread calls for a boycott of the film.
In the wake of this growing controversy, promotional content for
Abir Gulaal
has started to vanish from public view. Two songs from the film,
Khudaya Ishq
and
Angreji Rangrasiya
, which were previously released, have been removed from YouTube India. Both songs were originally available on the official YouTube channels of the production company, A Richer Lens Entertainment, as well as Saregama, which holds the music rights. However, they are no longer accessible on these platforms.
Reported
India Today.
Another track,
Tain Tain
, was set to be released on Wednesday, but it too has been delayed, with no official explanation from the film's team.
The controversy surrounding the film deepened after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), led by Raj Thackeray, opposed its release. The party cited the tense relations between India and Pakistan, arguing that featuring a Pakistani actor in a Bollywood film was inappropriate at such a sensitive time. This sentiment has been echoed by many social media users, who have voiced strong objections to the collaboration between Indian and Pakistani artists in the aftermath of the terror attack.
As a result, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has now confirmed that
Abir Gulaal
will not be released in India. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) also reiterated its stand against working with Pakistani artists, reinforcing the call for a ban on such collaborations.
Directed by Aarti S Bagdi,
Abir Gulaal
was initially scheduled for release on May 9. The film also stars Lisa Haydon, Riddhi Dogra, Farida Jalal, Soni Razdan, Parmeet Sethi, and Rahul Vohra in key roles.

Pakistan's begging network spread to foreign countries, annual income of Pakistani beggars is $42000000000
New Delhi: Begging has become one of the most important professions in Pakistan. The total population of Pakistan is 23 crores, and out of this, about 4 crore of people are begging. That means every sixth person in Pakistan begs. Pakistanis are not only begging in their country but are also adopting this 'profession' abroad. The Pakistan government is finding it difficult to handle its global image due to beggars. What does the Dawn report say? According to Dawn's report, the population of Pakistan is 23 crores, out of which 3.8 crore are professional beggars. The national average income of a beggar is 850 Pakistani rupees per day. These beggars reportedly get 32 billion rupees in alms every day, which is 117 trillion rupees annually. The annual income of Pakistani beggars in US dollars is 42 billion dollars. How much do Pakistani beggars earn? The Dawn report says that 38 million people are earning $42 billion annually without doing anything. This is directly affecting the rest of the country's population and is the reason for the rise in inflation. A report by the Business and Society Center in Pakistan says that the trend of begging is increasing in the country because it is earning more than other unskilled labour. According to the Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), 2.5 to 11 percent of Pakistan's population is begging to earn a living. Express Tribune figures that about 12 lakh children roam the streets of the country's major urban centres. What are the complaints received from abroad? The Pakistan government has collected data of people traveling abroad to beg on the streets. These figures are being collected because 90 percent of the beggars caught abroad are of Pakistani origin. Iraqi and Saudi ambassadors have even complained about this to the Pakistan government. The Pakistan government has suspended passports of thousands of beggars who go to countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran under the guise of religious pilgrimage and beg. In the last two and a half years, 44,000 beggars have been sent back to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.

Farah Khan's Cook Calls Her ‘Khadoos', Says ‘She Eats A Lot'; Boman Irani In Splits
Last Updated: Farah Khan's cook hilariously exposes her off-camera personality in a vlog with Boman Irani, calling her 'khadoos' and revealing her love for food. Farah Khan never fails to entertain, and this time, it's not her choreography or direction but her hilarious off-screen camaraderie with her cook Dilip that has fans in splits. In her latest YouTube vlog, Farah is seen visiting longtime friend and actor Boman Irani's home along with Dilip, who ends up stealing the spotlight with his cheeky revelations about the filmmaker. The vlog, which centers around a fun-filled cooking session of traditional Parsi food, begins with Farah jokingly warning Dilip not to tell her husband if she flirts with Boman, whom she adorably refers to as her 'favourite." As the group settles in, Farah joins Boman's wife Zenobia in preparing chutney for marinating fish, while Boman takes Dilip aside for some 'off-the-record" chit-chat. What follows next is pure comedy gold. In a mock-serious tone, Boman asks for the cameras to be turned off and quizzes Dilip, 'Farah camera ke saamne itni acchi baatein karti hai, jab camera band hota hai toh kaisi hai?" Without missing a beat, Dilip quips, 'Bahut khadoos hai," leaving everyone in splits. Boman, amused, then asks if Farah genuinely speaks well of him behind the scenes. Dilip shakes his head and delivers another zinger, 'Aapki bhut burai karti hai." The fun doesn't stop there. When asked if Farah is on a diet, Dilip reveals, 'Diet pe nahi hai, Farah ma'am. Khoob saara khaati hai. Diet pe dal chawal, soup chawal, par jab diet pe nahi hoti toh khoob saara khaati hai." Fans couldn't get enough of Dilip's candidness and Farah's unabashed laughter throughout the video. The comments section was flooded with heart emojis and laughing reactions, applauding the honest yet affectionate dynamic between Farah and her cook. Farah and Boman's friendship dates back to their collaboration on Main Hoon Na. They later starred together in Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi and Happy New Year.
