'Laughter Chefs' turns one: Actors get emotional; Krushna Abhishek says 'I've built a different and unique relationship with each celebrity on this show'
Hosted by the ever-hilarious Bharti Singh and seasoned with the sizzling expertise of Celebrity Chef Coach Harpal Singh Sokhi, Laughter Chefs has redefined what it means to blend flavours and fun. From amateur celeb cooks exploring the kitchen space, to dishing out never-before-seen recipes from corners of the globe, the show has bee56444n a masaledaar blockbuster.
The show kicked off with a concept that seemed almost too zany to work — putting celebrities who can barely boil water into a kitchen battlefield; and that very format turned out to be a recipe for roaring success.
Each episode has served up a hearty helping of giggles, drama, and foodgasm-worthy dishes. From botched rotis and spilled gravies to unexpected gourmet triumphs, Laughter Chefs has been the audience's weekly dose of 'dinnertainment'.
The mix of chaos and camaraderie between the celebrity contestants, each with their own quirks and hilarious kitchen chemistry, has given fans a peek behind the curtain of their off-screen personalities.
After the humongous success of the first season, the second one came in like a piping hot main course on popular demand. With fans now well-versed in the 'kitchen combat' dynamics, the second season brought back some new and familiar faces, new rivalries, upgraded gags, and a continued celebration of cooking.
Bharti Singh said, "All of us on Laughter Chefs feel like we belong to it as one would belong to a family. I've seen celebs who were terrified of pressure cookers become pressure performers! But more than that, I've come to believe something: the way a person cooks reveals who they are.
Through this show, people got to see that their favourite stars are just like them — some are messy, some don't know what they're doing in the kitchen, some have the most commendable attention spans, others come up with unique solutions, and many find humour in the most unexpected places.
Their personalities pour into the cooking process. It's been such a treat to witness that raw, real side — and even more heartwarming to see viewers stay with us through it all."
Krushna Abhishek
said, "What's made it truly special for me is that I've built a different and unique relationship with each celebrity on this show. My mantra in life is simple — assign an emotion to a bond and stay committed to it — and I bring this approach into my jokes too. And it touched me to see that the audiences seem to have done the same — they've attached emotions to the show, they know our quirks, our chemistry, our chaos, just like they know their own family members.
To build that kind of connection in just one year... that's a blessing. So, as we celebrate one trip around the sun, I just want to say — thank you for opening your hearts to us."

Times Black cardholders will gain immediate access to several exclusive benefits through the Klook platform, including preferential pricing on experience bookings, priority access to sold-out attractions, and dedicated customer support. More about 'The Best You' Having navigated her fair share of challenges in the entertainment industry, Bharti has always lived life on her own terms. Her story is one of resilience and reinvention from breaking barriers as a female comedian to creating a home filled with love and laughter. She added, 'Not many know the journey it took for me to find my place in this industry. Over the years, I've heard countless opinions about how I should live my life. But now, I want to pause, breathe, and do something just for me. Travel gives me that space to reconnect, to embrace the unknown, and to find joy in the little things that truly touch my heart.' For someone who's spent her life making millions laugh, it's the simple, unfiltered moments that now bring Bharti the biggest smiles, a silly detour, a quiet night under the stars, the thrill of trying something for the first time. Because sometimes, the best laughter is the one that surprises even her. Through this campaign, travel becomes her way of carving out time for herself, embracing joy, and finding inspiration in the unfamiliar one experience at a time. 'The Best You' campaign is more than just activities or things to do; it's about stealing those little moments from life that create unforgettable experiences. Shivam Tyagi, Marketing Lead, Klook India and Middle East, stated, 'It's a chance to rediscover more joy, more freedom, and most importantly, more of YOU. That's what we aim to bring to life with 'The Best You', not just great itineraries, but meaningful experiences that stay with you.' Both organisations anticipate that the partnership will drive significant engagement among Times Black's exclusive cardholder base, while expanding Klook's presence in India's luxury travel segment. The collaboration includes plans for future enhancements such as exclusive event access, limited-edition experience packages, and expanded geographic coverage across emerging destinations. How Bharti Singh Lost 15 Kg In 10 Months With A Simple Weight Loss Diet
Popular Indian comedian and television host Bharti Singh, known for her overweight persona and self-deprecating humour, stunned her fans with her weight loss transformation. Inspiring millions, Bharti Singh's weight loss journey was 10 months long, and she reportedly lost around 15 kg. In a podcast with YouTuber and actor Prajakta Koli, Bharti revealed her weight loss on an episode of Bharti TV Podcast. Bharti Singh On Her Weight Loss Journey She had shared that her weight loss journey was not just about shedding the extra kilos but also about improving her overall health. She revealed that she was dealing with asthma and diabetes, but she feels healthier and more energetic after losing weight. "I have reduced my weight from 91 kg to 76 kg. I am also surprised that I have lost so much weight. But I am happy that I am feeling healthy and fit now. I do not get breathless now and feel lightheaded. My diabetes and asthma are also under control," she said in an interview. When Bhart Singh Revealed Her Weight Loss Secrets Intermittent Fasting When Bharti Singh surprised her fans and the industry with her weight loss transformation in 2021, she credited intermittent fasting for it. "I do not eat anything from 7 pm to 12 noon. I eat in the afternoon. I have eaten a lot of food for 30-32 years, and after that, I gave time to my body for one year and accepted everything," she further added. Intermittent fasting is believed to be one of the most effective weight loss methods. A 2022 study published in the Nutrients found that short-term fasting, such as intermittent fasting, can help improve your metabolism, which in turn can help you burn more calories. She Didn't Skip Meals Bharti Singh revealed that she made sure to add everything she loved in her diet and eat her favourite dishes, but in moderation. Skipping meals to lose weight can sometimes backfire. Studies have found that eating in moderation can help, but skipping dinner or any meal together can lead to problems. Portion Control Bharti Singh shared she practised portion control to avoid overeating and keep a check on her calorie intake. It is a method in which a person manages and controls the amount of food they eat during meals. According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, practising portion control can help you maintain a moderate weight. Stick To Meal Timings Many people underestimate the importance of sticking to maintaining meal timings, but Bharti Singh made sure to follow them to the T. She made sure to follow her meal timings, even on hectic days, and avoid eating at odd times. And this helped her lose weight. Bharti Singh Shares How She Feels After Her Weight Loss Losing a whopping 15 kg can be a source of pride and happiness for many, and it was the same for comedian Bharti Singh. She had revealed, " Main toh bahut khush hoon patli hoke. Kitna maza ata hai jab crop top mil jate hain apne size ke. Mere ko bada maza ata hai, ache ache kapde mil jate hain (I am so much happier after losing weight. I find crop tops in my size now. I enjoy that I get to wear nice clothes)." While weight loss will not promise happiness, it may improve your health, which in turn can make you feel good about yourself. But remember that every individual's journey is different, and you may not see the same results with what Bharti Singh has followed. It is crucial to check with your doctor to ensure that the weight loss diet or fitness regimen you pick caters to the needs of your body.
