Love Island spoiler: Villa descends into chaos following controversial recoupling decision
During tonight's episode the Toni, Harrison and Lauren love triangle continued with dramatic consequences. At the start of the episode Shakira and Ty chose to save Harrison and Lauren, alongside Conor and Emma and sent Tommy and Lucy home after the public vote.
Toni expressed her annoyance about Shakira saving Harrison and Lauren, however Shakira and Yasmin insisted that Toni was actually happy he was there.
Then later in the episode Harrison and Lauren slept together in the communal bedroom. Toni then discovered Harrison and Lauren had been physical but didn't learn the extent of what went down. However, this was enough for her to call things off with Harrison and she went onto tell him she was "done" with the love triangle and deserved "better".
The Islanders then received a text telling them there would a recoupling that evening with the girls choosing who they wanted to be in a couple with. As the Islanders were getting ready, Harrison confessed to Harry he wanted Toni to pick him at the recoupling and so Harry helped Harrison to meet Toni on the terrace.
While on the terrace Harrison confessed his feelings for Toni, who was confused by his confession but ultimately didn't seem put off by it.
It then came to the recoupling and when it came to Toni's decision she chose to recouple with Harrison, shocking the rest of the Villa.
In her speech she said: "The last few days, if not weeks, have been really up and down and confusing. But after a very unexpected conversation on the terrace this evening, I've gotten the clarity and the answers I've been looking for."
At this point fellow Islander Meg whispered to Dejon: "They met at the terrace, is that what Harry pulled her for?"
Toni then continued: "I think this person has realised where they went wrong. Hopefully things will look up from here on out. This decision has not been easy for me and I really had no idea where my head was at until that conversation.
"I would like to apologise on behalf of both of us to the two people we've hurt in the process of coming to this conclusion. I'm not usually one for second or third chances but I'm willing to give it a shot. The boy I would like to couple up with is Harrison."
Her decision sent shock waves through the Villa with all the Islanders looked stunned at her choice.
Lauren went onto recouple with Ty, who had expressed interest in her earlier on in the day, and Cach was chosen by Emma.
Following the recoupling the group quickly dispersed and Lauren burst into tears with Helena and Meg, where she could be heard saying she felt like an "idiot".
Toni and Harrison remained at the Firepit where they both confessed to feeling terrible. Harrison then asked Toni if she thought Cach expected her to decision to which she said no. Cach was then overheard telling the boys it was "done" with himself and Toni.
It's safe to say tomorrow's night episode of Love Island is sure to be a dramatic one.

'It's been blown out of proportion': Love Island's Lauren responds to Harrison being called out by Women's Aid
Love Island's Lauren Wood has responded to Women's Aid's comments on partner Harrison Solomon's behaviour in the Villa, saying it had been "blown out of proportion". Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK after leaving the Villa last week, Lauren was asked how she felt about the charity's statement, to which she responded: "I think it was blown out of proportion. He's made a mistake, but everyone makes mistakes, like he's gone about it in the wrong way. He knows he's done wrong." She then added: "I think it was just the timing of everything. But like he said, he's not a bad person. Everyone in the Villa knows that and that's why it upset me the whole situation so much because I knew deep down he never meant it in a malicious way. He would never want to hurt someone, he just unfortunately didn't communicate with me how he felt and it's a shame he's been portrayed in this way, because that's just not him. And obviously for his family to see that it's just not nice when they know him properly, know that that isn't him as a person." She concluded: 'And with it being only an hour, we've not watched it back, we don't know what has actually been shown to get all of this. They see one hour a day.' Last week Women's Aid issued a statement to The Tab, in which they called out the men's behaviour on Love Island. The statement was shared after an episode aired in which Harrison slept with Lauren, and then the next day told fellow Islander Toni he still had feelings for her and suggested she chose him at the next recoupling, without telling Toni he had slept with Lauren. After Toni did make her decision, Lauren was upset and seen in tears on the show. Following this episode Women's Aid said: "In recent years, Love Island and other forms of reality TV have been repeatedly called out by viewers for allowing in contestants that had a history of abusive, coercive and manipulative behaviour in previous relationships. As a result, production companies have been more careful when it comes to selecting contestants and calling out toxic behaviours when we see them. 'Despite these positive steps, we still see unhealthy patterns of behaviour on these shows, showing just how steeped in misogyny and sexism our society still is. Women are often lied to, slut-shamed and manipulated, as well as laughed at behind their backs. Misogyny and sexism lay the foundation for the tolerance of abuse and violence – it reinforces a culture that excuses and trivialises violence against women and girls. More must be done to educate contestants on sexism and misogyny, and it is a great credit to viewers who take to social media, continuing to call out these behaviours as soon as they see them.' Harrison has since responded to the above statement, while in an interview with the Daily Mail. He said reading the charity's comment "wasn't nice" and that he does "respect women." He told the publication: "I have seen the backlash and it's hard to digest. I would disagree with a lot of it in terms of my respect for women, I do respect women. "The worst has been from Women's Aid. I know myself and the girls on the show too, Toni said she knows I'm not a bad person, just went about situations in the wrong way, but the Women's Aid statement wasn't nice... it's not nice coming out of the villa to my mum upset by that so I would say that's been the hardest." Harrison then did acknowledged his behaviour and apologised to the women he had hurt and added: "I got it wrong and the back and forth between the two connections caused more harm than I ever intended. "It wasn't ever an ego thing. I am not proud of how I handled things and I'm not going to make excuses. I just want to own it. If people can give me the space to grow from it, I will do everything I can to be better and that's the only thing I can do. "There is no handbook for how to be on a show like Love Island. It's instincts and intentions. I got some of it right, but I know I got a lot of it wrong, and I know that now." Last week Lauren was dumped from the Villa, after new bombshell Angel chose to couple up with Ty, which left Lauren single. She then asked Harrison (who was still technically in a couple with Toni) to leave with him. He debated over packing his bag and 24 hours after Lauren had left the Villa, he told his fellow Islanders he was quitting the Villa and wanted to pursue things with Lauren in the outside world. Since their exits last week, Harrison and Lauren have been reunited and appeared to barely spend a moment apart. Exclusive: Love Island's Harrison and Lauren take next step in relationship
Love Island's Harrison, 22, and Lauren, 26, have officially closed things off in their relationship and are now "exclusive". Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK after leaving the Villa last week, the pair revealed while they are not in a relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, they have closed things off. When asked if they were closed off Harrison said: "We've not had the proper conversation, I feel like Lauren knows where my head is at. I left the Villa to pursue things with Lauren. I feel like we don't really need to speak about it either. I feel like we know both where our heads are at. But for me the big thing was her meeting my family before I made anything official. That will be coming in the next week or so. I have no doubt we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend very soon." The pair were then asked if they were "exclusive" but not in a "relationship", to which Harrison replied: "Yeah, I would say I've only got eyes for Lauren and I hope it's same [he gestures to Lauren]. This is the first time we're talking about it." Lauren then added: "I feel like we've just not had to say it, like we just know and obviously we did our first post together yesterday. So I feel like that's a big thing." The pair met on the current season of Love Island, when Harrison entered Casa Amor and quickly fell for Lauren. However, back in the Villa he had been pursuing a connection with Toni. When Harrison chose to reenter the main Villa and bring Lauren with him it kicked off one of the series' biggest love triangles. While Harrison and Lauren were getting to know each other intimately, he was still pursuing things with Toni and made his feelings for her apparent when he suggested she should pick him at the next recoupling. Thsi moment happened the night after Lauren and Harrison had slept together, and so when Toni picked Harrison at the recoupling it led to confusion and upset amongst the Villa. Lauren was left to recouple with Ty. After spending a day or two together in a new couple, Toni and Harrison still weren't sure where they stood with each other and Harrison continued to get to know Lauren. Last week, new bombshell Angel entered the Villa and chose to recouple with Ty, this meant Lauren was single and dumped from the Villa. She then asked Harrison to leave the Villa with her but while he debated packing his bags, he didn't go that evening. However, the next night he told his fellow Islanders he had chosen to leave the Villa to carry on getting to know Lauren. Since they've been reunited outside the Villa the pair have spent the majority of their time together and appear to be going strong. Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITVX

Love Island spoiler: Exclusive Harry and Helena "split" after 'explosive showdown' over Shakira conversation
Love Island's Harry and Helena have reportedly split after an "explosive row", despite going exclusive in the villa. Last night's episode [23rd July] saw Harry and villa ex Shakira spending time together, before she cooled things down with her partner Conor. Now, a source at The Sun says the situation has hit boiling point, with Helena kicking off being in the love triangle again. "That old triangle is very much back," a villa source said. "In the bust-up, Harry admitted he still had feelings for Shakira. He said he didn't plan to act on it but Helena was gutted and furious and told him she was done.' The source continued, " It all happened the day after Shakira dumped Conor and Megan and Blu arrived." During Wednesday night's Love Island, Harry asked partner Helena to go exclusive with him, before he was seen having a flirty conversation with Shakira on the stairs. "I like talking to you… we haven't talked to each other for ages," he told her. "I really think it's a good idea if we hang out on the outside." Shakira's partner Conor then walked into the corridor, with Harry stepping aside to let him past. He then fumed to Helena, "She's [Shakira] out there with Harry... She didn't even acknowledge me there." Helena replied, "You don't think she's lost her head that me and Harry have gone exclusive?" Later, Shakira pulled Conor for a chat, and admitted she was struggling to get over past situations in the villa. He was then asked for a date by villa ex Megan, who is back in the villa for a second stint. Obviously, none of this is confirmed by ITV, and we're yet to see it play out in the villa yet, so we'll have to wait and see what happens. Oh we just love the drama, Mick! Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
