Yemen Gov't forces Capture Houthi , Al-Qaeda Cells in Aden ,Taiz
Yemeni authorities announced on Tuesday the arrest of Houthi-affiliated and Al-Qaeda cells in Aden and Taiz following intensive surveillance and intelligence tracking.
Aden police issued an official statement confirming the capture of a specialized Houthi cell tasked with monitoring the movements of military and security officials within southern forces. The arrested individuals confessed to undergoing combat training in Houthi-run camps before being deployed to Aden for espionage missions.
Meanwhile, Taiz's Supreme Security Committee reported the detention of several extremist operatives linked to Al-Qaeda. According to preliminary investigations, these operatives coordinated with Houthi militias to execute sabotage operations and target security, military, and civilian leaders in the province and liberated areas.
Officials revealed that these individuals were directly involved in acts of assassination and destruction, including their suspected role in the murder of World Food Program employee Moayad Hamidi in Al-Turba in 2023.
Security forces also uncovered explosive materials, light and medium weapons, along with vehicles rigged for terrorist attacks inside residences belonging to the detained cells. Authorities suspect these groups planned assaults on government institutions and security facilities in both Aden and Taiz.
The Yemeni government hailed the operation as part of ongoing efforts to reinforce security and stability, pledging to counter the threats posed by Houthi militias and extremist organizations seeking to destabilize the nation.

Al-Qassam Brigades target zionist enemy soldiers & vehicles in western line, north of Khan Younis
Gaza – Saba: Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Friday evening that they had struck a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers and vehicles north of Khan Younis. In a brief statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Al-Qassam clarified that they targeted the enemy forces and military equipment in the Western Line area, north of Khan Younis, with medium-caliber mortar shells. Earlier in the day, the Brigades, in coordination with Saraya Al-Quds, had shelled a gathering of Zionist enemy soldiers and vehicles infiltrating the vicinity of the Halima Mosque in Joret Al-Lout area, south of Khan Younis, with heavy mortar shells. This comes as part of the Palestinian factions' response to the genocidal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy, with American support, against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023—including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement—in defiance of international appeals and the International Court of Justice's orders to halt the aggression. 385 institutions, centers & scientists issue charter in support of " Al-Aqsa Flood"
Istanbul - Saba: On Friday, hundreds of scholars, jurists, Islamic bodies and institutions from different parts of the world issued a comprehensive scientific and legal charter entitled "The Charter of Ummah Scholars on Al-Aqsa Flood and its implications," in which they expressed their position on this battle launched by the Palestinian resistance on October 7, 2023, stressing the legitimacy of the Palestinian resistance and the obligation to support it from all Muslims, rulers and ruled. According to Quds Press, the charter, which came after collective consultations and careful reviews from senior scholars and various sharia unions, seeks to stabilize the sharia discourse in light of the war on Gaza, refute the doubts raised about the legitimacy of jihad and resistance, and remind the Islamic nation of its responsibilities towards Palestine, Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque. The charter affirms that Palestine, from the sea to the river, is an Islamic land that no one has the right to give up an inch of it, and that "the Zionist entity is an occupying entity whose existence is legally invalid, and all agreements, treaties or forms of normalization that acknowledge its legitimacy are legally invalid and do not bind the nation to anything." The charter also emphasized that "jihad to liberate Palestine is an obligatory duty for its people and a sufficient duty for the entire nation," considering "Rabat in the blessed land as the best type of jihad, and that returning to one's homeland is a legal right that is not subject to statute of limitations." The charter considers "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle to be "the core of payment jihad, which is legitimate in Islamic law, does not require the permission of the ruler or guardian, and does not depend on parity with the enemy, but is a temporal obligation imposed by the nature of the aggression and the duties of victory." The charter defines defense jihad as "exerting effort with the soul, money, tongue and all available means to defend the occupying enemy and repel its actual and expected aggression." The 385 signatories, who numbered 385 institutions, centers and scholars, affirmed that "the mujahideen in Gaza have done their duty, whether they were martyred, captured or injured, and that the steadfastness of the popular support, the sacrifice of Gazan women, and the service of scholars, preachers, doctors and media professionals are all forms of jihad." The charter strongly rejected any projects to liquidate the Palestinian cause, including forced displacement, refugee resettlement, or disarming the resistance, and considered these calls "a legitimate betrayal and an action that serves the interest of the enemy." It also described the policy of siege and starvation as "a crime against humanity that requires confrontation, boycott and prosecution." The charter issued a clear warning against cold neutrality and complacency, considering it a betrayal of the nation and a departure from the duty of belonging and loyalty. It emphasized that the Zionist aggression against Gaza is an aggression against the entire nation, making it imperative to unite ranks and escalate the confrontation by all available means.
