A LEGENDARY electronic band has announced a massive Scottish gig next year.
Firestarter hitmakers The Prodigy are 'calling all participants of noise and chaos' to join them for the 13,000-capacity show at Glasgow's OVO Hydro arena.

Leader Liam Howlett, 53, and MC Maxim, 58, are returning three decades after the release of their seminal breakthrough record Music For The Jilted Generation.
And support comes from a two-hour three-deck set from house and techno hero Carl Cox.
Liam said: 'We're bringing back that full experience of non-stop noise and beats from doors to getting chucked out.
'It will be that full Prodigy ruckus as it was then and how it continues to be now.
'And droppin' new tunes for the people… we've got our old friend Carl joining us.
'So expect full attack mode, factor 9… Let's go.'
The Prodigy will return for their only date announced for Scotland so far on April 15, 2026.
The band formed around musician, songwriter and producer Liam, from Braintree, Essex, in 1990.
A fixture of underground clubbing, they crossed over with the success of hits Charly and Everybody In The Place the following year before becoming a household name with their second album which shot to number one.
Their line-up fluctuated over the years but stabilised around Howlett, rapper Maxim and dancer and vocalist Keith Flint.

Every album since Music For The Jilted Generation — which featured dancefloor classics Voodoo People and Poison — has hit the top spot.
The band have been working on a follow-up to 2018's No Tourists, which was released just months before Flint's death aged 49.
Pre-sale tickets are available from 9am on Thursday, with the rest going one sale on Friday from 9am.

'Inspiring' Lewis Capaldi surprises fans again after secret Glastonbury set
Lewis Capaldi surprised another set of festival goers a day after his Glastonbury performance and was hailed for being an inspiration Lewis Capaldi has been at it again after an emotional Glastonbury comeback on Friday. The Scottish singer stunned the Worthy Farm crowd with a surprise set at this year's festival. But it wasn't just the British fans he wanted to make it up to. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the Someone You Loved singer, 28, wrote: "Had to come back and make it up to you all x" And in similar fashion to his gig a day earlier, Lewis surprised fans in Switzerland after previously having to pull out of a show in 2023. The clip shared by Lewis showed the crowd being told in Switzerland in 2023: "Lewis Capaldi can't sing for us right now. "So we're going to sing for Lewis Capaldi." The scenes showed how the crowd at the time at OpenAir St Gallen coming together to show support for the star by singing his hit tune. Lewis then told his followers: "You filled in for me when I couldn't be there." And a video then showed him walking back on stage to huge applause as he said: "Switzerland 2025 I wanted to make it up to you." After waving at his adoring crowd, he then said: "My name's Lewis Capaldi and I'm f***ing back baby. Here we go." He paused mid song once again to emotionally take in the moment as the crowd serenaded him. As he finished the song he shared a sweet laugh at the scenes as fans flashed love heart signs with their hands. Fans in the comment section were keen to also share their support to the pop star. One user gushes: "The LEGEND IS BACK," while another praised: "What a comeback," with a love heart emoji. A third told him: "You are so incredibly loved. It was great to see you on that stage," an another added: "This is why we need to support each other with understanding, support and grace. I LOVE this. And it's very, very helpful and inspiring. Brilliant! Blessings to all." Following his impressive and emotional comeback, Lewis has released his first new song in two years. He had sent shockwaves on social media when he dropped a teaser for his brand new song in a poignant Instagram video just hours before his Glastonbury appearance. The song, titled Survive, clearly means a lot to the BRIT Award winning artist who has faced much turmoil over the past two years after stepping out of the limelight due to his mental health. Alongside the video, Lewis wrote: "It's been a while." And in classic Lewis style, the artist's new song is full of emotion. Lyrics on the track include "I swear to God I'll survive" and "I'm going to get up and live until the day that I die."

Google has made a sweet tribute to Lewis Capaldi after the singer returned to Glastonbury Festival on Friday night - and anyone searching his name online can now read the message Lewis Capaldi was given a special tribute by Google after his surprise appearance at Glastonbury on Friday night - two years after he last performed at the festival. The Scottish singer was emotional as he returned to Worthy Farm, telling fans he needed to finish what he couldn't last time. Back in 2023, Lewis, 28, struggled to finish his set, with his voice faltering, and told fans he would need to take a break for a while. But last night, the singer delighted the crowd by performing on stage as he declared: "I'm back, baby." And after his performance, Google shared a touching tribute in honour of Lewis. Anyone Googling his name is now shown a sweet message that reads "Welcome back Lewis - Someone we love" surrounded by red heart emojis. Ahead of his festival performance on Friday, Lewis released a new song called Survive. Alongside the post announcing it, he shared a video and captioned it: "It's been a while." The new song is full of emotion with lyrics including "I swear to God I'll survive" and "I'm going to get up and live until the day that I die." It is his first new release since stepping out of the spotlight because of his mental health. Lewis has been open about his mental health and hypochondria in the past. He said in 2022: "If I'm having a panic attack there's nobody else that can help me out of it except my mum, for sure. My mum has had to sleep in my bed as recently as a month ago because of how bad my anxiety got at one point. But I think that was alcohol related to be honest, I had been on a bit of a bender." He added: "It never really reached a tipping point until after getting famous, I never had a panic attack until after I was famous, or after I was a musician or after I got to a height. The hypochondria - I guess looking back, I was such an anxious kid, but now because I understand it a lot more with therapy and I speak about it a lot more with people and try to learn more about it, I look back at it and think the behaviour was a result of anxiety." During his last Glastonbury set, Lewis struggled to finish his set. His voice faltered and he told the crowd: "Glastonbury, I'm really sorry. I'm a bit annoyed with myself." The crowd soon took over the vocals of Someone You Loved. "I feel like I'll be taking another wee break over the next couple of weeks. So you probably won't see much of me for the rest of the year, maybe even. But when I do come back and when I do see you, I hope you're still up for watching us," he told the crowd. Feeling emotional, he said: "I genuinely dreamt of doing this. If I never get to do it again, this has been enough." On Friday, Lewis opened his set with Before You Go and he told fans "second time's a charm", referencing what happened last time. He said he didn't want to say too much or he'd cry as he thanked fans for supporting him during the gig and also in the aftermath. His performance was interrupted by chants of "Oh Lewis Capaldi" but he stopped them and said he only had a short set and limited time. He told fans: "Thank you for being here, genuinely. For each and every one of you."
