Allday Project, the first coed K-pop group to debut under renowned producer Teddy Park's The Black Label, is turning heads across the industry — not just for being the industry's first mixed-gender group in eight years since DSP Media's Kard, but for the star-studded resumes and diverse backgrounds of its members.
Just 16 hours after releasing the prerelease music video for 'Famous' on Monday, the clip surpassed 2.5 million views on YouTube. It also secured the No. 1 spot on YouTube Korea's Trending chart, overtaking aespa's 'Dirty Work (Performance)' and Plave's 'Hide and Seek,' which ranked No. 2 and No. 3. Globally, the video reached No. 4 on YouTube's US Trending chart and No. 5 in Brazil, demonstrating its international resonance among K-pop fans.
The slick cyberpunk visuals of the music video — where spinning accelerates toward the center to express a rising, untouchable energy — play a part in drawing viewers. But much of the buzz stems from the viral interest surrounding the individual members, even before their official debut next week.
One reason for the group's spotlight is the presence of Annie, or Moon Seo-yoon, who is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Lee Myung-hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group president Chung Yoo-kyung.
Annie, 23, opened up about her decision to pursue a K-pop career against her family's wishes in a debut documentary released on the group's official YouTube channel on June 13 — a revelation that made headlines both in Korea and internationally.
Another standout member is Youngseo, 19, once confirmed as part of the final lineup for Illit on the television survival show 'R U Next?' in 2023. However, just before her debut, she parted ways with Belift Lab, the agency behind Illit, sparking multiple rumors about her next steps, now culminating in her debut with Allday Project.
The third female member, Bailey, 21, is already known in the K-pop scene as a choreographer.
She began working professionally at the age of 14 in the US and has choreographed routines for Red Velvet's 'Psycho,' Lisa's 'Money' and Taeyang's 'Vibe.' Her experience includes being a backup dancer for Janet Jackson — further solidifying her credibility.
Among the two male members, Woochan is arguably the more familiar name.
He appeared on Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 6' in 2017 at just 12 years old, making him the show's youngest-ever contestant and finalist. In 2019, he debuted as a soloist with the single 'Reality Check Time,' showing musical depth beyond his years. He was also once rumored to be part of Big Hit Music's next boy group lineup — the agency behind BTS — but the debut ultimately fell through.
The final member, Tarzzan, 22, is already known in fashion and music circles as a model. Since 2022, he has appeared in music videos like I-dle's 'I Do' and NewJeans' 'Supernatural,' while gracing the pages of various fashion magazines.
Allday Project is set to officially debut on June 23, with their debut single 'Famous' and the main track 'Wicked.'

A new branch in India is scheduled to launch in September or October.

Lim Yoon-a leads genre-bending 'Pretty Crazy' from hitmaker behind 'Exit'
'Exit' stars Cho Jung-seok and Lim Yoon-a clash in a summer box office battle Never mind red flags — picture the girl next door turning into a demon at night. In "Pretty Crazy," Lim Yoon-a takes on a dual persona in this genre-blending summer entry from the team behind "Exit." "Pretty Crazy" centers on Gil-goo (Ahn Bo-hyun), who falls for Seon-ji (Lim Yoon-a), a new tenant living one floor below. But the budding romance takes a sharp turn when Gil-goo discovers that Seon-ji transforms into a demon each night. Her father soon ropes Gil-goo into the part-time job of protecting her after dark. Backing the film is Film R&K, known for producing consistent summer hits such as "Exit," "Escape from Mogadishu" and "Smugglers," as well as last year's "I, the Executioner." The film reunites Lim with director Lee Sang-geun, following their successful collaboration on "Exit," which drew more than 9.4 million moviegoers during its theatrical run. Lim, an actor as well as a member of K-pop group Girls' Generation, cited their past work together as a key reason she returned. 'I had so many good memories from working on 'Exit,'' Lim said during a press conference held Wednesday in Seoul's Yongsan-gu. 'I remember thinking how happy I'd be if I ever got to work with this team again, and then the director offered me such a lovable character that I gladly agreed to join the project.' Director Lee also reflected on what drove him to make "Pretty Crazy." 'When thinking about what to present as my second film, I felt that since my previous work had a large-scale setup, this time I wanted to create a project that dives deeper into characters and the human experience,' he said. Lim detailed the physical and stylistic changes she underwent to portray Seon-ji's split nature. 'I wanted there to be a clear visual distinction at a glance,' she said. 'Daytime Seon-ji has a pure, clean and girlish image, so I adjusted my hairstyle, wardrobe and even voice tone to reflect that.' She continued, 'For the demonic version of Seonji, I paid attention to every detail from head to toe. While the daytime version has straight hair, the demonic Seon-ji has a curly hairstyle with bold elements. I even got nail art and wore colored contact lenses to show a completely different look. I also tried to differentiate my voice tone, facial expressions and even the way I laughed.' "Pretty Crazy" opens in theaters Aug. 13, shortly following the release of "My Daughter is a Zombie," led by Cho Jung-seok, Lim's "Exit" co-star, now returning as her box office competition. 'I can't believe it's already been six years since 'Exit.' Back then, Cho and I were partners, so it feels meaningful to greet audiences this summer through different films, side by side,' Lim said. ''My Daughter is a Zombie' opens first, and I hope that crowds will continue to pack the theaters with 'Pretty Crazy' right after it.'

Shinji's agency denies rumors about singer's fiance
Company threatens legal action over false rumors about couple In light of the rumors surrounding the fiance of Shinji, a member of 90s K-pop group Koyote, the singer's agency said Tuesday that it has found the rumors not to be true. JG Star released a statement Tuesday saying that it has checked the rumors, which claimed that Shinji's fiance — who is also a singer — Moon Won had worked in real estate without a valid license, that he was a bully in school and during his mandatary military service, and that he had an affair during his first marriage. The agency said it has seen the documents for Moon's divorce with his first wife, which showed that the two had reached an amicable agreement to part ways. "We found that there were no scandalous reasons (for divorce) and that he did not date another woman," the company said. The agency also said it contacted multiple students who went to same school as Moon, along with those who served with him in the military, and that all of them said the bullying allegations were not true. While Moon had denied bullying and having an affair, the allegation of him working as a real estate agent without the state-certified license was actually confirmed by Moon himself. In a public statement on July 3, he denied other rumors but said he did work in the past without the official broker license. But JG Star said that Moon was officially registered as an assistant broker and had completed the necessary training under the Korea Association of Realtors. "Moon Won was taken aback by the comments that he worked without a license, and said (in the previous statement) that he would take responsibility if there are wrongdoings. He told us that he did not admit to illegal actions," agency said. Following her company's statement, Shinji wrote on her Instagram page that she too had found the rumors to be not true. She issued an apology for taking a long time to verify the allegations. The agency stressed that it is considering legal actions against those spreading false rumors or defaming the couple. Controversy about Moon's 'attitude' preceded rumors Moon, 36, had been not well known to most members of the public before his 43-year-old fiance publicly announced their engagement recently. But his conversation with the other Koyote members revealed in a July 2 YouTube video had touched off disputes about him being supposedly rude, toward the two male members of the co-ed group and also to his wife-to-be. Moon also said that he only told Shinji about his previous marriage and his wife after their "relationship was deep enough," and that he did not know Koyote at all before they were in a relationship. Some members of the public took issue with this comment, as the group was one of the most popular bands in Korea in the late 1900s and early 2000s, right when Moon was growing up.
