Welcome to this week's Feel-Good Friday! Each week, we share a bunch of exciting and interesting stuff in the hopes that you can find something fun to do, or a new deal to get in on. This week we've got a bit of both of that, with Gelato Messina dropping a new Cookie Pie next week, Fujifilm's next major photography grant starting, and Pat Cash promising some Cash for Charity.
Here's this week's Feel-Good Friday.

Davines' 'Ocean Keeper' Campaign to Clean Aussie Coasts
Sustainable beauty brand and certified B-Corp Davines is partnering with direct-action ocean conservation organisation Sea Shepherd to help raise awareness of better environmental behaviours and support water protection with the launch of the Ocean Keeper program.
According to Davines, this'll be done via two promotions: firstly, Davines customers that purchase an 'Essential Refill Pouch and Conditioner' pack (at key salons) will also receive a complimentary bottle of shampoo – a gift designed to encourage more eco-conscious purchasing behaviour.
Secondly, five per cent of proceeds made from sales of these refill pouches will be donated to Sea Shepherd Australia to support the cleanup of marine debris along the Australian coastline.
The campaign builds on Davines' previous eco-efforts, having partnered with Plastic Bank to move over 866 tonnes of plastic from the environment in 2024.
Tennis Great Pat Cash
Pat Cash's New Tennis Tourney to bring 'Cash to Charity'
A brand new Tennis competition is coming to Australia, and it's looking to raise cash for charity. 'The Invitational' is set to launch in the lead up to the 2026 Australian Open, aiming to deliver a 'festival of tennis' that brings the sport together with music, food, lifestyle and popular culture, while also featuring a fundraising side-goal of raising money for charities.
Which charities? We don't know yet – but all will be revealed in the lead up to the event, which is being headed up by Abler Sports & Entertainment (ASE), and former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash.
'The Invitational (will be) about more than tennis. I am proud to bring this to life with ASE, and do it in a way that celebrates the sport while supporting causes that matter,' Cash said.
ASE CEO and founder Ravi Krishnan said The Invitational will be extraordinary, empathetic, elegant and exclusive, and will be a 'unique addition to the Summer of Tennis'.
Fujifilm Launches $150,000 Grant for Content Creators
The cameraphiles at Fujifilm are looking give away a total of $150,000 through its annual GFX Challenge Grant Program, which aims to highlight budding photographers and give them the tools and support they need to create stunning photo and video projects.
Entries can be submitted to the challenge until 31 August through the Fujifilm GFX Challenge website, and applications will be reviewed throughout September and October. By December, the challenge's winners will be announced, and the ability to work on their projects will begin.
'At Fujifilm, we believe in the power of photography to spark creativity and tell compelling stories,' Fujifilm Australia's head of marketing Leanne Hughes said.
'Through a mixture of funding, mentorship and world-class tech, the (GFX Challenge) gives content creators the tools and support to push the boundaries of their craft even further (and) we can't wait to see the bold, innovative projects that come through this year.'
Gelato Messina x Tony's Chocolonely | Image: Supplied
Messina and Tony's Chocolonely launching limited edition Cookie Pies
Two of our favourite sweet makers have come together to make something truly innovative: the Cookie Pie, by Gelato Messina and Tony's Chocolonely.
Gelato Messina has packed its famous pies with Tony's Chocolate—one of our favourite chocolates, since eating it not only satisfies your sweet tooth but also helps end the massive, system issues in the cocoa trade—and it'll be launching the concoction onto the world on July 7.
That's right, next week you'll be able to head to your nearest Messina store (apart from Circular Quay and The Star in Sydney), and get your hands on a warm, melty cookie pie filled with Tony's.
It'll still cost a pretty penny, of course, at $25 each: but at least part of that cost is now going to end exploitation in the cocoa industry. Plus, Messina is pulling out all the stops and crafted a new 'brownie' gelato flavour to pair with the Cookie Pie, so you can go all-in on chocolate for lunch.
Just maybe take the afternoon off.

Man of Many's Staff Favourites—26 July, 2025

The weekend is here, and while most of us are off spending time getting ready to bring you all some goodness next week, we've also prepped a few of our favourite things to share with you all today: this week's Staff Favourites. Each week, we try to show off some things that have brought us some joy in the hopes it'll help you find your own. This week we're going to help you study, as well as show off some cool stuff we've been using. Life Cykel Professional Biohacker Set | Image: Life Cykel Life Cykel Professional Biohacker Set Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships The Life Cykel Professional Biohacker Set has been a much welcome addition to my daily wellness routine. I appreciate the natural, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and the ease of incorporating the extracts into my day. I take the Cordyceps, Lion's Mane and Shitake all together with a morning cup of water, and the Turkey Tail in the afternoons prior to my gym session. Whilst at my desk at work now resembles an unhinged chemist with mushroom drops, vitamins galore and gym powders, The Biohacker Set It feels like a simple, consistent step toward supporting overall health, and I enjoy the ritual of using it regularly. A solid choice for those looking to explore functional mushrooms as part of a broader wellness approach. Ozzy Blunt Umbrella | Image: Blunt Blunt Metro Umbrella John Guanzon – Head of Creative and Production There are umbrellas, and then there's Blunt. To be real for a moment, Blunt umbrellas have officially ruined all other umbrellas for me. It's compact enough to fit in a backpack yet sturdy enough to take on Sydney storms. It's wind-tested to near-cyclone levels and has a sleek, curved-edge canopy that won't take out a pedestrian's eye. Also, this might make me come across as an umbrella snob, but I found that as soon as you own a Blunt, you start to notice others who do too. You see that curved canopy in the wild and give a silent nod of respect, because those who know, well and truly know. Before this, I was grabbing $9 umbrellas from Woolies that barely survived a drizzle, always ending up deformed and in the bin a day later. The Blunt Metro, on the other hand, is built to last. Yes, the price point is much higher than the Woolies kind, but it's an investment in dryness and durability. You'll never go back to the throwaway kind, and you'll earn your place in the unofficial club of umbrella snobs. Favourite Article of the Week: Unlock Peak Dad Mode with Man of Many's 'Brilliant Moments Kit' I'm Obsessed with Study with Me Videos Scott Purcell – Co-founder I began writing this searching for Justin Sung's video that's a 3 hour study session and has some crazy good music from that's scientifically proven to improve your focus, but I now feel like I'm going crazy because I can't find the video. If you're not aware yet, up in the top right of the site you should see a nice little sign-in button now and that has kept me crazy busy with a huge amount on my plate. Just about the only way I've gotten through all of my work, is to slap on one of these Study With Me sessions on YouTube with good music, crack-in and get to work. They're surprising successful rather than having music on in the background as you feel pressured or almost guilty having someone work alongside you. Give them a try next time you feel like procrastinating. Favourite Article of the Week: The $1,995 Seiko That Every Watch Collector Needs in Their Collection Favourite Video of the Week: Introducing Five Minute Finds Lego's Game Boy Throwback | Image: Lego Lego's Game Boy Throwback Dean Blake – Tech & Entertainment Writer I'm really not a collector. I do my best not to end up with shelves lined with miscellaneous things, but Lego's been tempting me lately. I grew up playing Nintendo games, and the Danish toy company is intent on releasing fun, buildable versions of a few of my favourite series: Mario and Zelda chief among them. But now they've gone full retro and decided to release a 1-to-1 buildable replica of the original Game Boy. If you're like me and grew up with the Game Boy as your main method of entertainment, spending literal hours playing Pokemon with your friends in the back of your classroom hoping your teacher wouldn't notice, you probably get where I'm coming from: but this thing is cool. The device comes with various screens you can add in to showcase either game cartridge it comes with (Super Mario Land and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening), but make no mistake: this thing isn't a working device. It's just a very cool ornament that I'm very tempted to buy. It's launching on October 1, through the Lego Store and Amazon, for USD$59.99. Thankfully it isn't available in Australia yet, or else I'd probably have pre-ordered it already. Favourite Article of the Week: What are 'Billionaire Bracelets'?

Feel-Good Friday: 25 July, 2025—Aged Whiskey, Dance Battles, and Meteor Showers
By Dean Blake - News Published: 25 Jul 2025 Share Copy Link 0 Readtime: 6 min Every product is carefully selected by our editors and experts. If you buy from a link, we may earn a commission. Learn more. For more information on how we test products, click here. It's the end of the week, and you know what that means: another instalment of Man of Many's Feel-Good Friday! Every week we look to bring some fun ideas for things you can do this weekend, as well as some easy opportunities for you to do some good in the world. This week, we're showing off what our friends at TIACS are up to this weekend, as well as the best way to adopt a greyhound in Sydney. Plus, there's a new Jack Daniel's drop coming to Australian shores next month, and some stellar stargazing on offer all week. So put your feet up, grab a drink, and check out this week's Feel-Good Friday. TIACS and Bunnings Team Up to support Aussie Tradies Tradie-focused mental-health charity TIACS (This Is a Conversation Starter) are hitting the road today with the aim of kicking up conversations around the barriers blue-collar workers face seeking professional support. To do so, TIACS have partnered with hardware chain Bunnings to fund a road trip around works sites and Bunnings stores in Queensland this weekend, taking a coffee van to serve some goodness and start some conversations. Plus, the brand is launching a Bunnings Trade x TIACS hoodie today, of which 100% of the proceeds will go back to TIACS to help fund the charity's mental health support initiatives. 'We're stoked to once again be working with Bunnings to connect more people to free, professional support… We'd love to see as many tradies and their loved ones join us at their local Bunnings on launch day as we fire up the barbie,' TIACS' co-founders Dan Allen and Ed Ross said. TIACS delivers free counselling, either through text or phone call, with hundreds of tradies around Australia each year. The charity is funded through donations, partnerships (like this one), and through the co-founders social-impact workwear brand Trademutt. BrewDog South Helping Pups find a New Home This Saturday, BrewDog South Eveleigh is teaming up with Greyhounds as Pets NSW to host an amazing greyhound adoption day, where 30-40 puppers will be available for a fast-tracked adoption that day. Notoriously one of the most chill breeds of dog out there, Greyhounds are perfect for apartment living, and are an easy breed to train—making them fantastic family pets. If you're keen to check out some well-behaved doggos, or just grab a drink at BrewDog, make sure to turn up in your pyjamas for 10 per cent off your food and drinks. The greyhounds will have their own PJs on, so you might as well too. The folks at Greyhounds as Pets NSW will be on hand to help any new pet parent understand their responsibilities, and the event will feature discounted adoption rates, only costing $150 for a 'standard' adoption, or $75 for a senior greyhound (that just makes them even more mellow). BrewDog South Eveleigh is located at 1 Locomotive Street, Eveleigh, and the Greyhound Adoption Day will be taking place on July 26, 11am – 2pm, and is free to attend. Red Bull's Street Dance Competition Returns This Weekend This Saturday, 26 July, dancers from around the country will descend on Sydney's Hordern Pavilion to take part in Red Bull's 'Dance Your Style' competition. They're competing not just for glory, but for a chance to go on to represent Australia in the world street dance competition finals in L.A. in October. It's a ticketed event, and with doors opening at 6pm to give everyone enough to time settle in before the dance battles begin. The event will be hosted by Miss Universe 2024 finalist Unice Wani and ballroom dancer Xander Khoury, and will feature live performances by JessB and VV Pete. If you're keen for something a bit different this weekend, and are in the area, it'll definitely be an evening to remember. Jack Daniels Aged 10-Year Whiskey | Image: Supplied Jack Daniel's Bringing Limited 10-Year Aged Whiskey to Australia Tennessee whiskey-maker Jack Daniels is bringing a batch of its rare 10-year aged drop direct to Australia—the first time the whiskey has been available outside the US. There'll be only around 3,000 bottles available for purchase, so if you're interested, get in fast. While JD's usual fare is aged for about 7 years, the brand's 'aged' series tends to be left for 10, 12, or 14 years to create a more robust flavour profile. 'Over the past decade, we've worked tirelessly to craft a whiskey that not only reflects the depth and character of our early releases, but also speaks to the global demand for premium and high-quality whiskey. This release is a tribute to our heritage, inspired by the past and crafted with the expertise of today,' said Jack Daniel's master distiller, Chris Fletcher. 'Australia is home to some of our most passionate fans and the world's most discerning whiskey drinkers. Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old is the perfect whiskey for them, showcasing the true craftsmanship and quality that only Jack can offer.' The end result is a 97% proof whiskey, with a 48.5% ABV, featuring a more intense flavouring. It'll set you back around $150, and will be available in August. Photo by Clay Banks on Unsplash Look to the Skies this Week for 2 Meteor Showers If you're looking or something free to enjoy this week, there's a very good chance we'll be getting not one, but two meteor showers this week. The Southern Delta Aquariids event, as well as the Alpha Capricornids event, will happen just days apart this week: starting on Monday, 28th July and Wednesday, 30th July respectively. While the Delta Aquariids will be best spotted somewhere outside of the light pollution of the city, the Alpha Capricornids tend to be quite bright, and should be able to be enjoyed from anywhere. Meteoroids from the Aquariids event are expected to be smaller, faster and more numerous, while the Capricornids will be slower and brigther. So, if you're looking to best enjoy this cosmic phenomenon, get out of the city (pack a jumper or two), and give your eyes a bit of time to adjust to the dark. Keep an eye on the north-northeast, and you should catch some great balls of fire in the sky.

We're officially past the halfway mark and stepping into July, team, and it's time for another round of our weekly Staff Favourites! Each week, we try to show off some things that have brought us some joy in the hopes it'll help you find your own, and this week we're showcasing some delicious food – a lot of delicious food, actually. Turns out we all love a good meal – shocker! So prep your taste buds (and smell receptors), and dive into this week's Staff Favourites. Coach For Men Eau de Parfum | Image: Supplied Coach For Men Eau de Parfum Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief I've always been a fan of Coach fragrances, right from my very first EDT, so when the famed New York maison dropped a new Eau de Parfum, I was cautiously optimistic. Coach For Men doesn't disappoint. Crafted by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou, the latest fragrance has all the elements of a perfect summer addition, bursting with citrus highlights and the captivating spice of cardamom. Coach describes this one as its 'boldest scent yet', and I have to agree. Where the brand's other releases, particularly those on the more masculine side, have favoured earthy tones, Coach For Men feels like a fresh hit of florals underpinned by a subtle, if not slightly traditional, cedarwood complexity. If you are looking for a fragrance that feels as fresh as a summer's day, Coach has you covered. Favourite Article of the Week: The Cinematic Seven: Superman, The Naked Gun, and Spinal Tap All Turn It Up To 11 Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu Parfum Intense | Image: Rabanne Rabanne Invictus Victory Absolu Parfum Intense Scott Purcell – Co-Founder I've not always been a huge fan of the Invictus fragrances, as they tend to be on the sweeter side for me and more suited to a younger generation, but this new 'Rabanne' release changed all of my preconceptions. It has a woody and clean scent to it with a hint of black pepper: it's meant to be inspired by the clash of fresh waves on a warm volcanic rock, but I've never been to a volcano so I can't confirm how close they got. I can say that the matte black of the bottle does give a basalt kinda vibe. If you're on the look out for a new fragrance, I'd definitely recommend checking it out next time you're travelling or at Myer or DJ's. Favourite Article this Week: Seiko's Most Affordable Collector's Watch Just Got an Upgrade Favourite Video this Week: Dua Lipa Splitting the G Argyle House, Camden Argyle House, Camden John Guanzon – Head of Creative & Production As a proud local of Sydney's deep South-West, it's such a treat not having to trek into the CBD for a great dinner, and the newly-opened Argyle House nails it. I went just three weeks after it launched, and it was already buzzing yet felt intimate enough for a date night or a group celebration. Set inside the beautifully restored Whiteman's Arcade, the space combines heritage character with modern art-filled style. The menu, crafted by ex-Quay chef Jason McQueen, leans modern Australian with Japanese touches, celebrating local produce and wood-fire flavours. We over-ordered, deciding that two mains plus a side of a giant sashimi platter was perfectly reasonable (and honestly, no regrets). Every dish that came out was on point, with tender cuts from their own cattle farm and beautifully fresh seafood. Honestly, for anyone in the area looking for something genuinely special, Argyle House is well worth booking. We visited on a Friday evening and ended up staying for three hours. The place was buzzing with groups of colleagues after work, staff mingling with guests, and a clear sense of community. Co-owners Eduard and Julie gave us the full experience – a distillery tour next door (Otter Craft Distilling), personalised cocktail recommendations, and stories about the business of whiskey making, all in a completely unpretentious manner. Speaking of cocktails, the drinks menu at Bar 26 is a cocktail lover's dream – imaginative, layered, and a perfect reflection of their in-house distillery. Here's the cocktails we tried: Truffle Porter Flip – A decadent blend of OCD Single Malt, truffle, walnut, whole egg, and barrel-aged imperial porter. – A decadent blend of OCD Single Malt, truffle, walnut, whole egg, and barrel-aged imperial porter. Tiramisu Martini – The night ended on a high with this dessert-in-a-glass, blending Mary St Coffee Liqueur, OCD Cocoa Vodka, wattleseed, tonka bean and dulce de leche. To eat, Eduard's handmade pizzas were standouts – the Garlic Prawn was a showstopper, and the Nduja, capsicum and goat's cheese brought a perfect heat. Bar 26 doesn't try too hard – and that's its charm. It's thoughtful, unpretentious, and built on real passion. A spot you'll want to stumble upon again and again. Safe to say, things are a little bit hectic right now. The great humans at Man of Many as well as a group of my close friends both gifted me vouchers to 'The Dinner Ladies' and it has just been such a huge help. It's not just about the delicious food that is super easy to prepare (normally just whack it in the microwave situation), it's about taking a mental load off whilst you are juggling two kids. It's one less task required and a metaphorical exhale amongst the chaos. If you know someone who could use a break for any reason at all, I'd highly recommend using this service. Every piece feels feather-light yet looks runway-ready. My top pick is the Mesh Full-Zip Track Jacket, where sheer mesh floats over sweat-wicking WovenAir to deliver airflow with structure. Unlined mesh sleeves dial up the breathability, while the relaxed cut, ribbed trims and two-way zip are perfectly detailed. Mostly recycled fibres keep the eco-credentials strong, and the all-black palette slides effortlessly from a morning coffee run to a quick workout. Close behind is the Layered Mesh Linerless Short 8″. Nash's signature seam lines and contrast mesh panels give the shorts real visual depth, and the same WovenAir base keeps things cool, dry and comfortable in the nether regions. While the eight-inch inseam lands just on the knee for a stylish, relaxed fit, complemented by an inside-or-out drawcord and discreet together or separately, these monochrome techwear staples move smoothly from intense training to laid-back living.
