MLB Has Fans Hyped for Subway Series
The Subway Series Part II kicks off Friday at Citi Field in Queens. When the New York Yankees and New York Mets squared off back in May, the Yanks took two out of three games. A lot has changed since then, including both teams slipping out of first place in their divisions.

The Mets (50-38) were recently swept on the road by the Pittsburgh Pirates but bounced back by taking two of three from the Milwaukee Brewers at home. They now trail the Philadelphia Phillies by 1.5 games in the National League East.
Across the diamond, the New York Yankees enter the weekend at 48-39. They have dropped four straight and have lost seven of their last 10 games. This week, the Toronto Blue Jays completed a four-game sweep of the Yankees at Rogers Centre.
Despite the recent struggles, MLB amped up the energy on Friday with a quick message that lit up fans:

Friday's series opener at 3:10 p.m. ET features Marcus Stroman starting for the Yankees, while Justin Hagenman gets the nod for the Mets.
