‘Untrustworthy' people: Brooke Hogan's shock move years before Hulk's death revealed

Brooke Hogan is avoiding any potential issues surrounding Hulk Hogan's large estate.
The daughter of the wrestling legend removed herself from Hogan's will in 2023 to avoid a financial battle following his death because she didn't trust the people around Hogan, New York Post reports, citing TMZ.
Brooke's biggest concern at the time was trying to protect her dad from those she felt were attempting to take advantage of him; however, the two disagreed over the subject and she eventually reached out to Hogan's financial manager to have herself taken out of the will, according to the report.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, died at the age of 71 last week after a cardiac arrest in Clearwater, Florida.
Brooke, 37, will still receive some money from a life insurance policy that she was a beneficiary on and that she will put toward her kids' college funds.
The eldest of Hogan's two children opened up for the first time about her father's passing and her estrangement from him in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
'My dad's blood runs through my veins. His eyes shine through my children. And our blood has never broken, not even in his final moments,' Brooke wrote.
'We never had a 'big fight.' My father and I never 'fought.' It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support.'
Brooke later detailed how she and her husband, Steven Olesky, moved to Florida in order to be closer to her father as he got older and she had been there with him for nearly 25 surgeries before he 'all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries.'
Brooke was not in attendance for Hogan's September 2023 wedding to his third wife, Sky Daily, and the two had their last conversation two weeks before the wedding, TMZ reported.
In a separate post, Brooke posted a video of a montage of photos of Hogan and herself set to Steve Nicks' song 'Crystal.'
'You were my everything, and I will always be your girl. I am PROUD to be your daughter — for all the love, light, and goodness you brought into this world. Thank you for choosing me in this lifetime, and for loving me so deeply,' she captioned the post in part.
'Our bond is eternal. That truth brings me comfort and hope, even in your absence.

Original Naked Gun creator's swipe at reboot and star Liam Neeson

The director and co-writer of the original The Naked Gun film has taken a brutal swipe at the reboot and its star, Liam Neeson. David Zucker, along with his brother Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams, created the 1988 spoof comedy as well as the TV show that spawned it, Police Squad, but was not invited to join the team behind the new instalment. Instead, its co-written and directed by Saturday Night Live 's Akiva Schaffer and produced by Family Guy 's Seth Macfarlane. 'I don't plan on seeing it because, why would I?,' Zucker, 77, told the Daily Mail recently. 'I wrote a whole script for Naked Gun 4 on spec for Paramount. I understand the studio's thinking to go with Seth Macfarlane. He's a proven commodity and Liam Neeson is a big star, but it's not a fresh idea.' Zucker also claimed that Neeson was not the right fit for the beloved franchise he created. 'OJ [Simpson] … he didn't need to be funny,' he said. 'And even Leslie Nielsen doesn't need to be funny. He just had to be a B-movie actor. 'That's what we did … We didn't pretend to cast Laurence Olivier or even Al Pacino. But Liam Neeson, for example, he's like Oscar quality. I think he may have won for Schindler's List. So I mean, what's he making fun of?' According to Zucker, despite being shut out of the production, Macfarlane had eventually called him up personally. 'I had a conversation with Seth and he spent 10 minutes just telling me how he idolised Naked Gun, Airplane, Top Secret,' he said. 'How can you be mad at anybody who tells you how great you are? But it's not enough to be a fan … The guy at my dry cleaners is a big fan, but it doesn't mean he can do Naked Gun.' The new film in the beloved franchise sees Detective Frank Drebin's son, the equally bumbling Detective Frank Drebin Jr. (Neeson) caught up in a murder case, part of a broader sinister plot for mass destruction, which he must solve in order to prevent the police department from shutting down. Pamela Anderson co-stars as his love interest and investigative partner, Beth Davenport. Just like those in the original franchise, the latest Naked Gun movie leans in to the most bonkers humour – and even co-writer Doug Mand admitted to that he was shocked they got most of the jokes over the line. 'I can't believe this movie got made,' he revealed at the UK premiere. 'You dream about writing something that's silly and fun and joyful and they're not making a lot of movies like this anymore. Every joke that's on screen [in The Naked Gun], I can't believe they shot it, and I can't believe they spent money on shooting it.' Neeson revealed to that he'd needed to be 'convinced' to go through with some of the movie's more 'outrageous' scenes. 'There were a couple of apprehensions, mainly to do with the script,' the Taken actor, 73, said. 'There were certain scenes that were too outrageous.' After voicing his concerns, however, he was eventually thoroughly 'convinced they would work' by the production team. The Naked Gun certainly shows off a whole new side of the actor, who's known for his intimidating and stoic on-screen presence. But his latest role is actually more aligned with his sense of humour, as Anderson, 58, told joking that he was inherently 'a silly little boy'. 'He's very funny. I think with most people, there are so many sides to them, and that's what makes them interesting.' She added: 'Playing it straight was very important to make this film work – we had to make sure we weren't trying to be funny. That we were in the relationship, and in the situation, and then the comedy came from the circumstances.'

Actor Gary Busey pleads guilty to groping woman

Gary Busey has pleaded guilty to groping a woman at a New Jersey horror film convention. The 81-year-old actor admitted that he deliberately touched a woman inappropriately whilst posing with fans as he pleaded guilty to criminal sexual misconduct at a virtual court appearance on Thursday. The incident occurred at the Monster-Mania Con in August 2022 as Busey was accused of groping several women who filed reports with the police. The star was charged with two counts of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, one count of attempting criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree and one disorderly count of harassment. Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will drop the remaining charges against Busey who faces between one to five years of probation and fines. He has also agreed not to contact the victim. Busey, who appeared distracted during the hearing and was scolded by judge Gwendolyn Blue for drinking from a soft drink can, will be sentenced on September 18. The actor's guilty plea comes after he initially claimed the woman had made up her accusation. Busey told TMZ in 2022: "None of that happened. "There were a partner, a camera lady, and me and two girls. It took less than 10 seconds, and then they left. Then, they made up this story that I assaulted them sexually - but I did not." It is not the first time that the Oscar-nominated actor has fallen foul of the law as he faced drug charges in 1995 following a near-fatal cocaine overdose. The star - who suffered permanent brain damage in a 1988 motorcycle accident - has previously been arrested on charges of spousal abuse and was also accused of sexual assault by a female employee when he took part in Celebrity Apprentice in 2011. Busey's son Luke previously recalled how the motorcycle accident completely changed his father's personality after he underwent brain surgery to recover from his serious injuries. He told The Hollywood Reporter: "At 17, I had to teach him with my mom to talk, to eat, to feed himself. To walk again. To write. That was very difficult for me at that age. The post-accident version of him turned his personality up to 11. I feel like I lost my dad on December 4, 1988."

Tyra Banks makes shocking confession about ‘disgusting and erotic' addiction

Tyra Banks knows how to pick 'em. The supermodel revealed her 'disgusting and erotic' habit of popping pimples and picking dirt from other people's toes during Thursday's episode of US show Today With Jenna & Friends. 'I like to pick. I like the toe, and if it has some stuff in it, I don't mind digging it out,' Banks, who is co-hosting this week, told Jenna Bush Hager. 'But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. Some alcohol, you know. Some stuff!' When Bush Hager asked who she targets with these rituals, the America's Next Top Model alum admitted that anyone in her household is fair game, reports Page Six. 'Anyone that wants it — my mum, my friends, my man, my son,' Banks confessed, referencing her beau, Louis Bélanger-Martin. 'And then, a pimple? If you had a pimple, I would be staring at you.' Banks labelled her 'addiction' as 'disgusting and erotic at the same time,' explaining, 'It touches those parts of me.' However, the TV personality, 51, does have her limits. 'Nether regions. I'm not picking up in those,' Banks said. 'If somebody's like, 'Oh, can you check this?' I'm like, 'No … that's where I draw the line.' Chest up and knees down? It's on. I'm not popping and picking nothing [outside of] there.' The model further grossed out Bush Hager as she explained that her foot-focused obsession can get quite stinky at times. 'The toenail, because there's been stuff in there. The jam. The toe jam is up in the nail, and then you pick, and sometimes it's different colours. Sometimes it's brown, sometimes it's green,' she described. Banks has been romantically linked to Canadian businessman Bélanger-Martin since August 2018. In November 2019, we exclusively reported that the pair was taking the next step in their relationship by moving in together. 'Tyra and Louis live together but Louis always moves around a lot for business reasons,' an insider told us, adding that he and his ex-wife, Valérie Martin Scraire, have an apartment in England, a house in Barbados, and a home in Magog, Quebec. 'Louis also spends some time with his own child in England and around the world for business,' said the source. 'Tyra's child has his own room at Louis [and] Valerie's house in Magog and Tyra moved some of her stuff — clothes, jewellery — there too.'
