'To hug you and ask you about life and your stories and struggles and successes,' Rumer continued. 'I wish I asked you more questions while you could still tell me about it all. But I know you wouldn't want me to be sad today so I'll try to just be grateful reminding myself how lucky I am that you're my dad and that you're still with me and I can still hold you and hug you and kiss your cheek and rub your head I can tell you stories.'
The 'Dancing with the Stars' winner said that despite Bruce's health battle, she still gets to witness his 'eyes light up' when he sees her 2-year-old daughter, Louetta.

'I will be grateful for every moment I have with you,' Rumer said. 'I love you so much dad happy Father's Day. Sending love to all those who are in the boat with me or have lost their fathers, to the single moms who are the dads too, to my future baby daddy…❤️.'
Rumer's post also included a picture of the 'Die Hard' actor with his granddaughter, whom Rumer welcomed in 2023 with her ex, Derek Richard Thomas.

'Happy Father's Day to all the dads living with disability or disease, showing up in the ways they can and to the children who show up for them,' Heming wrote. 'What Bruce teaches our girls goes far beyond words. Resilience, unconditional love, and the quiet strength in simply being present.
'This photo says so much,' Heming continued. 'Love deepens. It adapts. It stays, even when everything else changes. But to be fair to myself, these symbolic days stir up a lot.'

The author admitted that she's 'profoundly sad today' and said she wishes 'that things could be different for him and lighter for our family.'
'As they say in our FTD community, 'It is what it is,'' Heming wrote. 'And while that might sound dismissive, to me, it's not. It grounds me. It helps me return to the acceptance of what is and not fight this every step of the way like I used to.'
'Today, let's celebrate the badass dads, those who are here, and those we carry with us 💙 Onward,' Heming concluded.

Bruce's family first announced his diagnosis with frontotemporal dementia, which can cause communication difficulties, in 2023.
Heming, who tied the knot with Bruce in 2009, has remained by the retired actor's side since his health diagnosis.

The Make Time Wellness founder appeared on 'Today' in 2023 and told then co-anchor Hoda Kotb that her husband may or may not know what was happening.
'It's hard to know,' Emma said through tears. 'It's hard to know.'
Rumer, for her part, exclusively told The Post last year that while it was 'scary' to reveal Bruce's diagnosis, the family is grateful for all the support they've received.
'I just have such deep gratitude for the love that comes our way,' she said.

Jason Momoa is changing up his look again, shaving his beard for the first time in six years for his return in the upcoming film "Dune: Part Three." The actor can be seen shaving outdoors in a new Instagram video post and shares his reaction along the way. "Damn it! I hate it," Momoa says in the video. "I think it's been about six years, maybe a little bit more, since I did 'Dune.' What was really special about that is, that is when I started and I started launching Mananalu," he continues, referring to the reusable bottled water company he launched in 2019. "Only for you, Denis," he adds, a nod to "Dune" film series director and co-writer Denis Villeneuve. Momoa played Duncan Idaho in the 2021 "Dune" film and is expected to reprise the role for the third installment. The cast of "Dune: Part Three" is aiming to begin filming soon, and the film is slated for a potential 2026 release. Momoa's 16-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa was also recently announced as a new cast member of "Dune: Part Three." Momoa, a father of two, told Extra what he thought about his son following his footsteps into the entertainment world. "It's going to be good. He did it on his own. I don't want to help him," Momoa said. "I couldn't do what he's doing at his age," he added. "There's no way I could sit in a room with ['Dune: Part Three' director] Denis Villeneuve and hold my own. I was on 'Baywatch' at 19. He's 16 and holding s--- down with Denis Villeneuve."
