
Jawan Director Atlee Celebrates Shah Rukh Khan's National Award Win: ‘Lot More To Come'
In a historic moment for Indian cinema, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan won his first-ever National Award for Best Actor, for his performance in Jawan. The film's director Atlee has now expressed his joy on social media, and conveyed his gratitude for SRK's trust. Calling himself a 'fanboy' of Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee described Jawan as his 'first love letter' to the superstar and promised many more to come, hinting at future collaborations. Atlee also thanked Gauri Khan, Red Chillies Entertainment, and various team members for their contributions. He also applauded singer Shilpa Rao for winning Best Female Playback Singer for Jawan song 'Chaleya'.
Atlee took to his social media to share pictures with Shah Rukh Khan from Jawan set. He wrote, 'Feeling blessed, @iamsrk sir. I'm super happy that you've got the national award for our movie Jawan. It feels very emotional and inspiring to be part of your journey. Thank you for trusting me and giving this film, sir. It's just my first love letter to you; a lot more to come, sir. Thank you, @gaurikhan ma'am, and @redchilliesent for giving this film to us."
In his post, Atlee also thanked Anirudh for the brilliant music of Jawan. He further congratulated Shilpa Rao, the singer of Chaleya. 'Super, super, super happy for @shilparao to get one more national award for jawan Chaleya I feel so, so happy and emotional. This is one of my life's most important moments; shah rukh sir being near you itself is a great blessing, sir. As a fanboy, working with you and making a film and presenting it in a mass mode of SRK, sir, is a pure, pure blessing from God, and finally, God is so kind to give us back the greatest moment in our life . In an interview with The Lallantop, Zakir candidly recounted how he failed to identify the world-famous boy band and mistook them for event the interview, Zakir said he had travelled to Korea to interview a major celebrity. The BTS members were also scheduled to meet the same person. Due to a late arrival, Zakir was grouped with them in the final batch. At the time, he noticed a group of young men but did not give it much thought. Out of curiosity, he casually asked one of them who they were and where they were from. The response—"BTS"—didn't immediately strike a chord with him. The comedian revealed that people were stunned to hear he had unknowingly spent around 45 minutes with BTS. Applause Entertainment acquires rights to 6 Jeffrey Archer novels
Agency: PTI Last Updated: Mumbai, Aug 4 (PTI) Applause Entertainment has acquired the exclusive screen rights to six of Jeffrey Archer's most famous novels, including 'The Clifton Chronicles", 'Fourth Estate" and 'The Eleventh Commandment". Spanning political drama, espionage, media power struggles, and multi-generational family sagas, these six titles offer a vast and versatile narrative canvas, rooted in Archer's signature style of pace, plot twists, and character-driven storytelling, a release said here. Applause will reimagine and develop these stories into premium series and feature films across languages and platforms, bringing Archer's world to screen. Sameer Nair, Managing Director, Applause Entertainment, said, 'This is a milestone moment for us. We've told stories reimagined from Indian books, formats, and real events and now we step into the world of global fiction. 'Jeffrey Archer's novels are compelling, character-rich, and built for screen.
