A house sustained $350,000 in damages in an overnight fire. The incident took place in the 2500 block of Jos St. Louis Avenue.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said the blaze originated in a bedroom. Fire crews were called just after 10:30 p.m. Around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Windsor police notified the public via social media to avoid the area.
No injuries were sustained, however eight people have been displaced.
The investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
