Just a few days after hard-launching their romance, Megan Thee Stallion and her man are expanding their relationship to another app! The Houston native took to TikTok to post a video of the sweet gifts her 'man' got her, posting a six-minute video of her unboxing the Labubus from the NBA star.
While she doesn't reference Klay directly, she's sitting on his lap during the unboxing, gushing over the figures as she opens each one and admitting blue is their favorite color as a couple. While Thompson spent a lot of his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors, he went to the Dallas Mavericks last year, which could explain their color choice.
The baller never shows his face in the video, even getting shushed by the rapper when he starts to mumble in the background. But, still, she ends the TikTok thanking her man for the Labubus, referring to him as 'baby' a lot throughout the video. For some reason, Meg deleted the video from her TikTok page—but it doesn't seem like a negative mark on their relationship, as Klay's IG hard launch is still up.
Rumors of a relationship between the stars first started last week, when Meg posted bikini pictures with a mystery man in the background. Fans immediately noticed that the man lounging in the background of her photoshoot looked like Thompson, and a few days later, the baller confirmed their relationship with a photo dump—including one picture of them sharing a kiss, and another of the pair holding hands.
Prior to her recent pop-out, Megan Thee Stallion most recently dated Bulls player Torrey Craig in 2024. While the pair never announced their breakup, it seems like the Grammy winner kept it pushing after his ex threw some shade—plus, a model accused him of dirty dog DMing during the relationship. Now, she's on to bigger and better things, going from dating a bench-warmer to cuddling up with a future Hall of Famer.
As for Thompson, he was most recently linked to Laura Harrier, though they kept their relationship fairly private.

How is Bradley Beal expected to fit with the Clippers?

Bradley Beal reportedly has agreed to a buyout from the Phoenix Suns and is expected to join the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN. Beal is expected to receive a two-year, $11 million contract with a player option after he clears waivers, according to ESPN. After two disappointing years with the Suns, it seems Beal and his family prioritized fit over paycheck. The Clippers are a solid landing spot for the 32-year-old who is entering his 14th season. Let's break down how he's expected to fit on a team that considers itself a contender in the West. What Bradley Beal does for the Clippers Los Angeles traded Norman Powell in a deal for John Collins, meaning there's a significant hole for the Clips at shooting guard, which is the only position Beal can really play. At 6-foot-4 and with a feathery touch, Beal would seem like a seamless fit alongside the more ball-dominant James Harden and do-it-all (when healthy) wing Kawhi Leonard. But Beal does have his own availability issues, with the veteran averaging 49 games played the past four seasons. With the Clippers strengthening their frontline via the acquisitions of Collins and Brook Lopez in free agency, Beal's signing should bring tremendous roster balance. A lineup of Harden, Beal, Leonard, Collins, and Ivica Zubac might be one of the most potent starting units in the NBA, with a healthy mix of interior and perimeter offense. Of course, health will always be the major issue with the Clippers, but if things do break right, they could be a formidable threat in the Western Conference.

Bradley Beal reportedly reaches buyout with Suns, to sign deal with Clippers

Bradley Beal's time with the Phoenix Suns is over. Beal reached a buyout with the Suns on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Shams Charania, ending his two-season run with the franchise. Beal is now expected to sign a two-year, $11 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. The deal will include a player option. Per Charania, Beal's priority was "finding the best basketball situation." Beal's time with the Suns did not go as planned. He landed with the franchise in 2023 after spending the first 11 seasons of his career with the Washington Wizards. But, despite playing alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the Suns largely struggled to compete in the Western Conference. Durant has since been traded to the Houston Rockets while Phoenix starts to rebuild. Beal was moved out of the starting lineup last season, too, while he was linked to trade rumors with Jimmy Butler amid his tumultuous exit with the Miami Heat. It marked the first time that Beal had been placed in a reserve role in just shy of a decade. Beal had a no-trade clause in the five-year, $251 million deal he first signed with the Wizards, though, which limited the Suns' options ahead of the deadline last season. Butler eventually went to the Golden State Warriors. Beal was still owed nearly $111 million on his contract before the buyout. He was earning more than $50 million a season. Beal averaged 17 points last season, which is his worst output since his rookie campaign. He also averaged 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting just shy of 50% from the field. The Suns went just 36-46 last season and missed the playoffs. They parted ways with head coach Mike Budenholzer and have since hired Jordan Ott to replace him. Ott is the franchise's fourth head coach in four seasons. Even though Beal's time with the Suns didn't go as planned, and there were plenty of rough stretches with the Wizards, the 32-year-old is now getting a fresh start with what will be the third team of his career.

NBA free agency 2025: Live updates, news, rumors as Bradley Beal reportedly joins Clippers after Suns buyout, Devin Booker deal breaks record

NBA free agency is well underway, and while most of the big names are now off the board, there are still several dominoes left to fall, with Damian Lillard, Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuminga, Quentin Grimes and more still undecided for next season. (Check out Yahoo Sports' NBA free agent big board here.) The action continued Thursday, as the Oklahoma City Thunder reportedly signed Jalen Williams to a max extension that could wind up being worth $287 million. The move ensures the team will keep its young core together after winning its first championship. In addition to Williams, the Thunder have also signed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holgrem to massive, new deals this offseason. When free agency opened June 30, the NBA had officially set its salary cap at $154.647 million for the 2025-26 season. That's up 10% from last season, which was the expected jump. Jaren Jackson Jr. and the Grizzlies agreed on a five-year, $240 million max extension, and the Nuggets traded Michael Porter Jr. to the Nets in exchange for Cam Johnson. Dorian Finney-Smith agreed to a deal with the Rockets, Ty Jerome and the Grizzlies agreed on a three-year contract and the Mavericks struck a two-year deal with point guard D'Angelo Russell. Elsewhere, LeBron James picked up his $52.6 million option for the 2025-26 season, stating his hopes of competing for a championship while the Lakers build for the future. James Harden will also stick in Los Angeles, signing a new deal with the Clippers. Julius Randle will also remain in Minnesota. All this comes after the Phoenix Suns traded superstar Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and the 10th pick (Khaman Maluach) in the 2025 NBA Draft. The Boston Celtics also began a refresh by trading Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trailblazers and Kristaps Porziņģis to the Atlanta Hawks. Find all of this year's free agency deals here.
