Sephora's Major Summer Deals Event is the perfect time to stock up editor favorites
Before your calendar fills up with weekend getaways, rooftop happy hours and out of office replies, there's one more thing to check off your summer prep list: refreshing your beauty routine. Luckily, the Sephora Major Summer Deals Event is taking place from June 26 through July 8. It's serving up serious savings on everything from skin care to makeup. We're talking up to 50% off beauty bestsellers from Shark, Tom Ford, Ouai and more.
Whether you're in the market for a new SPF, a TSA-friendly version of your go-to facial serum or a fragrance that smells like summer in a bottle, this sale is stacked with options to help you feel polished and pampered — without paying full price. I rounded up the best beauty sales and deals, including expert picks straight from CNN Underscored staffers and Sephora's beauty director.
Amika Big Hit Volumizing Shampoo
When beauty editor Sophie Shaw tapped hairstylists for their best volumizing shampoo recommendations, not one but three pros named Amika's Big Hit, fittingly enough. Dose your hair with its non-drying formula loaded with hydrating glycerin. It's part of Sephora's 25% discounts on select shampoo and conditioners, dropping the price to $21.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo
Good hair health starts at the root. A beauty-director favorite, the Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo promotes a healthy scalp regimen that gently exfoliates to help clear product buildup. "This shampoo will become a favorite in your routine and make you feel like you're doing the most for yourself and your hair!" said Sephora Beauty Director Melinda Solares.
Ouai Detox Shampoo
I'm a huge proponent of double cleansing on scalp and skin. Hailing from celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin's brand, this apple-cider-vinegar-based formula makes for a great first step to wash routines, helping to cleanse hair without stripping it of moisture. Its rose-like fragrance also leaves hair smelling great.
Shark FlexStyle Air Styling and Drying System
Tried and true, the multi-styling hair dryer continues to win over our experts and staffers with its bevy of interchangeable attachments. Nix the clutter of hair tools by consolidating with its diffuser, Coanda curlers, concentrator and volumizer heads. It's already a great value at full price, which makes this $100-off deal all the more worthwhile.Read our review
Drybar Reserve Vibrating Flat Iron
Discounts on Drybar's Reserve Flat Iron have been few and far between, which makes its inclusion in this sale all the more exciting. A popular buy among Sephora shoppers, the hair straightener vibrates to create tension to help achieve pin-straight results on even the most curly hair types.
Valentino Donna Born In Roma Eau de Parfum With Bourbon Vanilla & Jasmine
One of the best perfumes for women, the Valentino Donna Born dipped to just shy of $100. Its blend of woody and fruity perfume scents evokes images of Italy. The feminine scent layers notes of blackcurrant accord as well as jasmine, vanilla bourbon and guaiac wood essence.
Tom Ford Vanilla Sex Eau de Parfum
A vanilla-scented perfume is timeless. Without overpowering with sweetness, warm sandalwood mingles with tonka vanilla in this Tom Ford formula. Add its luxe-looking, honey-tinted bottle to your vanity while its $105 off.
Armani Beauty Acqua di Giò Eau de Toilette With Calabrian Bergamot & Cedarwood
A trusty scent for summer, this aquatic-inspired men's cologne from Armani leans into clean, minimal fragrance. It features splashes of bergamot balanced by patchouli and persimmon for a fresh scent profile. Snag a travel size for your travels for $47, or commit to a full-sized bottle for as little as $67.
Ralph Lauren Ralph's Club Parfum
If there's plenty of date nights on your social schedule, spritz on this moody men's designer fragrance. Woody patchouli, vetiver and cardamom meet calming lavandin. It comes in a striking matte-black bottle with a Ralph Lauren monogram, starting at $74
Nest New York Balinese Coconut Perfume Oil
Leave a trail of luxe-smelling coconut wherever you go. Drop and mix this perfume oil into lotions to add a more potent scent to your skin. Inspired by the beaches of Bali, its formula features notes of coconut, tropical tiaré blossom and salted musk.
Saie Glowy Super Skin Tint Foundation
Summer makeup looks are all about the glow. Saie bottles up a luminous, pretty pigment with its Super Skin Tint. It touts a lightweight, dewy finish charged by its hydrating hyaluronic acid ingredient. All of its shades, over 30 of them, are on sale.
Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firmx Collagen Bounce Stick
Making history as Peter Thomas Roth's first color cosmetic product, these collagen-based makeup sticks wowed Shaw with their skin care ingredients and pretty, glowy finish. It's already one of our favorite beauty products of 2025, available in three shades: Sheer Glow, Bronze Glow and Blush Glow.
Milk Makeup Kush High Volumizing Mascara
Rocketing the brand to popularity, Milk Makeup's bestselling Kush mascara has earned hype for its fluffy, volumizing results comparable to the look of false lashes. It uses a hemp-derived cannabis seed oil to help condition and keep lashes soft rather than stiff.
Yves Saint Laurent Nu Bare Look Skin Tint
For a bit more coverage than a tinted SPF, I've reached for this gel-like skin tint from YSL. It blends like a moisturizer but delivers an effective pigment to skin that covers redness and imperfections. Even better, it's half off at Sephora.
Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush
This pocket-sized blush compact brings a fresh flush to your face while on the move. Swirl your fingertips onto its pigment and tap the creamy formula onto the apple of your cheeks. It blends (and feels) like butter.
belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb SPF 45 Korean Moisturizer Face Sunscreen
Currently a staple in my daily skin care routine, I've been using the Aqua Bomb SPF to protect my dry, sensitive skin from the sun's rays. I love its concentrated tip, so I can properly dispense three fingers full of sunscreen. Plus, it doesn't dry down with a white case.
Youth To The People Triple Peptide Hydrating and Firming Oasis Serum
"This powerfully hydrating serum is a great way to plump up your skin for a firm and tight, glowing complexion — without a heavy feel — making it perfect for hot summer days," said Sephora Beauty Director David Razzano. The expert-loved formula is down to just $43.
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub Exfoliant With 10% AHA
Becoming a crucial part of my shave routine, the First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser ensures an exfoliated canvas for razors to help minimize ingrown hairs. The brand is known for its sensitive skin-friendly formulas, and I can attest that it hasn't disrupted mine.
St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse Tropical Colada
St. Tropez ranked highly as one of our best self-tanner recommendations. It's loved by CNN Underscored testing experts and professional tanners alike because of its near foolproof foam application that prompts speedy results. Just in time to get your summer tan on, it's marked down below $40.
By Rosie Jane Rosie Everyday Body Oil
Another favorite from Sephora's beauty director, this body oil feels and smells luxurious on skin with its subtle scents of rose, nude musk and vanilla. Solares appreciates that it helps revive dry skin. Treat yourself while it's $10 off. Until July 8, the Sephora Major Summer Deals Event is one of the few times to save big on beauty — whether you're restocking your go-to products or trying something new. You'll find up to 50% off beauty bestsellers, 25% off shampoos and conditioners from brands like K18 and Amika and 20% off fan-favorite moisturizers from Youth To The People, Summer Fridays and more.
Even better, Beauty Insider members get an extra perk: 500 bonus membership points when you spend $75 during the sale. Just use the promo code PLUSPOINTS at checkout. You can redeem those points on deluxe samples, discounts and exclusive rewards down the line. Not a member? It's entirely free to join, and there are plenty of perks beyond this sale.
Major savings event like these are enough to confound even the most seasoned shoppers. So, armed with years of experience testing and reviewing beauty products, paired with expertise covering sales on said picks, I curated a list of only the best makeup, skin care, hair care and beauty tool deals for your wallet, mostly including those that other Underscored editors and I buy ourselves.

🥇 Sunday's World Cup highlights: generous Messi, Leila ‘Balboa' and Didico
The round of 16 of the World Cup continued this Sunday (29). Another quarter-final duel was defined after PSG and Bayern dispatched Inter Miami and Flamengo, respectively. You can subscribe to DAZN to watch all the FIFA Club World Cup games for free. Advertisement And there were highlights on social media. With Leila Pereira taking the lead and much more. Leila 'Balboa' 🥊 It's impossible to go to Philadelphia and not repeat the steps of Rocky Balboa, the character immortalized by Sylvester Stallone back in 1976, right? That's what Leila Pereira did when she climbed the 72 steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art staircase. Which became the Rocky Steps after a statue of the character was installed there. The president of Palmeiras celebrated the team's qualification to the World Cup quarter-finals in this way. And, of course, there was a photo "next to" Rocky. It got tough, Messi... Lionel Messi had "only" his former club in front of him this Sunday. Advertisement The star faced an "away" game even while playing in the United States. The match was played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta. The stadium that is home to Atlanta Utd. There was even an unkind banner reminding of Messi's losses against the local rival. Atlanta also defeated Inter Miami 5 x 2 in September 2023. But Messi didn't play. The Argentine, on the other hand, has three victories against the rival. The other match between the teams with Messi on the field ended in a draw. Speaking of Messi... Lionel had a reunion with several former teammates. Dembélé, for example, played with him at Barcelona - he moved to PSG after Messi's departure. Advertisement And he took almost EVERYTHING from the Inter Miami star home. Many joked about the situation: Dembélé also got shirts from two other former Barça teammates: Did Busquets not want to collaborate? It raises the question. Was there a spot for him? Former striker Adriano couldn't contain himself in the final minutes of Flamengo 2 x 4 Bayern. Would it have been different with him there? What it's like to cruise Disney with your whole family: The highs and lows
'Family Travel' is a six-part series showcasing the best experiences and destinations for young families looking for an escape. If you'd like to contribute to our future reporting and share your experience as a source, you can click here to fill out this quick form. I just got back from a weeklong sailing on the Disney Treasure with a group of ten people – ranging from toddlers to septuagenarians – and I've got thoughts on the magic at sea. If you're considering a Disney Cruise Line trip for your next big family vacation, here's what to expect, what surprised me, and what I wish we knew before we booked. A floating Disney bubble: What families can expect on Disney cruises Having been on multiple cruises on the major cruise lines serving American passengers, I would say Disney's Treasure had a strong food offering. No, the dishes weren't always piping hot, and the cocktails leaned a little too sweet for my taste, but the flavors were consistently strong. Each of the ship's three main restaurants rotates menus nightly, which helps when you're assigned to each twice or thrice. Across our group of ten, there wasn't a dish we didn't finish – and that's saying something with a couple of picky eaters. From carnitas at Plaza de Coco to beef tenderloin at 1923 to the chicken schnitzel at Worlds of Marvel, most dishes earned a solid 7 out of 10 from our crew. What made it better was the exceptional service. The waitstaff remembered our preferences and handled every request with warmth and care (shoutout to Thynelly and Duwi). We also tried the Treasure's two adults-only restaurants: Enchanté and Palo. Enchanté felt special – fine-dining level, easily a 9/10 for ambiance and service – and we only docked a point because our tastebuds weren't ready for the sophistication of the French menú. Palo, on the other hand, was a home run. Every dish, from the arugula salad to the chocolate soufflé, was a 10/10. If you're looking for one splurge-worthy dinner onboard, make it Palo. There's a reason 'Disney-quality' is the gold standard when people talk about live entertainment. Both "Beauty and the Beast" and "Disney the Tale of Moana" were full-blown stage musicals with incredible production value. The set design, sound engineering and cast were all Broadway-caliber. My mom even leaned over mid-show to ask if they were lip-syncing – because the vocals were that pristine. Yes, the storytelling felt a little rushed if you know the movies by heart. But quick pacing is probably wise when your audience includes lots of5-year-olds. Our only complaint was that the shows in the Walt Disney Theatre were shown on one day of each voyage – which is their typical scheduling. However, due to an unexpected medical evacuation that delayed our stop at Castaway Cay, we had to choose between staying on the island or catching "Moana." We picked the show, but I'm still salty about missing Disney's private beach. Let's talk about what Disney Cruise Line doesn't include. For a seven-day Caribbean sailing in a stateroom with a porthole view, we paid about $5,000. That's in the range between premium and luxury pricing, but the perks didn't always match the cost. There's no drink package. Specialty coffees and alcoholic drinks are à la carte. Adult trivia? That was free, but get there early before the room fills up. Wine tasting? Extra cost. Beer tasting? Extra cost. Workout classes? Extra cost. Spa access? Extra cost. Technically, you could attend a presentation about diamonds or luxury watches, but we all know how those end. The truth is, most of the free activities were geared toward kids. Adults in our group had a harder time finding things to do besides eat, drink and hang by the crowded pools. I tried to be productive and hit the gym, but the fitness center was small and often full. Granted, every cruise line attracts a different type of gym goer. I was working out by myself in Aurora Expeditions while timing when to avoid rush hour on Virgin Voyages. DCL was surprisingly busy every day of the sailing for the size of the facilities. Typically, not a huge deal, but as mentioned above, when there's not much for adults to do other than eat and drink, it did stick out. (Grateful for those Peloton bikes, though.) Our party of 10 included six who were on their third DCL sailing and four newbies (myself included). It was great to watch the kids light up exploring the ship, attend character meet-and-greets, and retell their adventures each night at dinner. Disney does an excellent job catering to families with small children. The activities, the entertainment, the energy – it's built for young families. For adults without kids, grandparents or those hoping for more balance between grown-up fun and family time, you might find yourself wishing for more options – or at least fewer upcharges. Would I go again? Maybe with a smaller group, and with clearer expectations. Because when Disney says it's for families, they really mean families with little ones front and center. 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Stars React to Brit Eady Skipping the Season 16 Reunion in New Trailer
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 reunion trailer dropped on Friday, June 27 The first look teased how stars Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, respond to the news that castmate Brit Eady skipped the reunion Despite Eady's absence, the cast still divulge and recall what happened between Eady and former star, Kenya MooreBrit Eady continued to surprise her The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 castmates up until the day of the reunion. On Friday, June 27, Bravo released the first sneak preview of the upcoming three-part reunion of the hit reality series. During the quick trailer, fans got a peek at how the women reacted to fellow castmate Eady's decision to skip the reunion. Towards the first half of the trailer, host Andy Cohen tells Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, that 'Brit Eady has decided not to join us.' The clip then cuts to a shocked Ferrell, 40, who says, 'Wow,' while another woman is heard in the background saying, 'What?' Eady's decision to skip the reunion followed PEOPLE's reporting on Thursday, June 5, that she and Kenya Moore would not be attending, Eady on her own volition, while Moore, 54, was not invited by Bravo to participate. Moore was the longest running RHOA star when season 16 began filming back in April 2024. But her time in the season was cut short in June 2024, after she exposed sexually explicit photos presumed to be from Eady's past to guests at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. She was suspended — and after an internal investigation — exited the series. On the same day as the reunion taping, Thursday, June 5, Eady, 37, addressed her decision not to attend the reunion on her Instagram Stories, alleging that the photos Moore shared a year ago weren't of her to begin with. 'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,' Eady continued in her statement. 'I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life." During the reunion trailer, Williams, 44, seemingly acknowledges the incident and says, 'Kenya had gotten information from a current housewife about Brit's past.' Cohen, 57, then turns his attention to Ferrell and asks, 'Did you send her the pictures?' His question left Ferrell shocked and speechless. The trailer then cuts to other moments that tease tensions between Parks, 51, and Oakley, as well as Williams and Morton Mwangi, 43, which prompts Williams to leave the reunion set.
