Image: First look at Barcelona's El Clasico leaked kit for 2025/26 season
The kit pays tribute to one of the club's most iconic wins – the 3-0 away victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on 19 November 2005.
As a special nod to that night, the minutes of the three goals (14, 58, and 77) are printed inside the collar of the shirt.
A trip down the memory lane
This new edition is not just a simple throwback. While it draws inspiration from the legendary match, it takes a modern turn in terms of design and colour.
The shirt moves away from the traditional vertical blaugrana stripes and instead features a bold zig-zag pattern in deep blue and red.
To make things more vibrant, lighter blue graphic details are added across the shirt, giving it a fresh and slightly experimental look.
The colour scheme officially includes Gym Blue, Salsa Red, and Opti Yellow, although this version of Opti Yellow appears much brighter than fans might be used to.
A Shift from the usual tradition
One major change fans will notice is the departure from the usual La Senyera design, which has commonly been used as Barcelona's fourth kit in recent years.
This 2025/26 version marks a clear break from that pattern. While the La Senyera may still appear in rare or commemorative matches, this kit will become the club's new fourth-choice strip moving forward.
Despite the historical inspiration, not all fans are thrilled with the look. Some believe the zig-zag design feels a bit out of place for such a legendary tribute.
Still, the shirt is expected to create buzz among collectors and supporters who value the emotional weight of that famous 3-0 win in Madrid.
Stay tuned for official confirmation and images as Barça prepare to unveil the kit.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen can veto Barcelona attempt to register Joan Garcia
Barcelona received the news on Wednesday that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen would be ruled out for four months. Despite the Germany international announcing that he would be back fit after three months, this would allow Barcelona to activate La Liga's emergency injury rule, which permits them to use a percentage of ter Stegen's salary limit space to register other players. However ter Stegen will have the last say, says Jordi Ardevol, of La Liga's medical expert committee. He told as much to RAC1 (via Sport), noting that in order for Barcelona to activate the emergency injury rule, ter Stegen must sign off on the documents in order for the club to share his medical information. If ter Stegen did not agree with the medical report, he would essentially be able to scupper Barcelona's attempts to activate the rule, which are thought to be crucial in their bid to register ter Stegen's replacement, Joan Garcia. Barcelona will only be able to use 50% of ter Stegen's salary limit space A similar sequence of events unfolded last season, when veteran Wojciech Szczesny was signed out of retirement. Barcelona were able to use 80% of the amount ter Stegen was earning to register an emergency replacement, but Cadena SER explain that the rule is different if the German's injury occurs during the transfer window. That being the case, Barcelona will only be able to use 50% of his salary amount to register a new player. Image via Getty Images Ter Stegen accused of bullying behaviour Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that the squad will vote for their captains next season, but Cadena SER go on to say that if it were up to the hierarchy at the club, they would have removed ter Stegen as captain. He is accused of trying to bully Szczesny and Inaki Pena towards the end of last season, as he attempted to regain his starting spot, once declared fit again. It is also noted that he is not the most popular figure in the dressing room. Rift with Barcelona grows One of the reasons that ter Stegen is frustrated with Barcelona, beyond their attempts to oust him in favour of Garcia, was the leaking of reports about his character to the press. The above would appear to fit that description, and similar has happened to Frenkie de Jong, when Barcelona were trying to force the Dutchman out.

Jules Kounde says he has agreed Barcelona contract renewal until 2030
Jules Kounde has said he has agreed to renew his Barcelona contract through to 2030. The deal would represent a three-year contract extension for the France international, whose current terms at Barca expire in 2027. 'It is all ready for me to renew until 2030 when we return to Barcelona, it has been really quick,' Kounde told reporters on Wednesday, via Cope. 'It is a matter of days now, and I'm very happy.' Advertisement The 26-year-old played at centre-back for previous clubs Bordeaux and Sevilla but has more frequently been deployed at right-back for Barcelona, for whom he has been a regular during his three seasons in Catalonia. Kounde has won five trophies, including two La Liga titles, since joining from Sevilla in 2022. The defender has played 52 times for France, with whom he won the Nations League in 2021 and reached the World Cup final the following year. Kounde's new contract is well-deserved, especially after establishing himself as one of the most reliable right-backs in the world. The new deal also follows a clear instruction sporting director Deco wants to implement across the club: avoid players moving into the final years of their current deals, when the club can lose negotiating power. The new contract arrives at a perfect age for the France international, who turns 27 in November. Given how coveted full-backs are, this is an important move from Barca to tie down one of their most consistent performers. This year, he set a mark of 86 consecutive games being a starter with the club, from November 2023 to April 2025. Kounde played 53 games last season, scoring four goals and delivering eight assists across all competitions, before a hamstring injury sidelined him for a month in May. Hansi Flick did not hesitate to praise Kounde's physical condition: 'I had never had a player like him before,' the manager said in September last season. 'You can tell him to have a rest, but after the games he still wants to train. He says he needs that. It's incredible. A top professional.' Barcelona are securing him for arguably the best years of his career.

🚨 BREAKING: Nélson Semedo confirms Wolves exit via Instagram
Nélson Semedo has officially departed Wolverhampton Wanderers following the expiration of his contract on 30 June 2025. The Portuguese right-back is now a free agent. Semedo confirmed his exit via a post on Instagram, bringing an end to his five-year stay at Molineux. The 31-year-old joined Wolves from Barcelona in September 2020 and went on to make over 180 appearances for the club across all competitions. As reported by Express & Star journalist Liam Keen, Wolves had been preparing for Semedo's departure for some time and are actively working on securing a replacement. The club has been reshaping its squad this summer and viewed the right-back position as a key area for reinforcement. Semedo played an important role during his time at the club, providing energy and experience down the right flank. Though his final season saw increased rotation and competition for places, he remained a respected figure in the dressing room. With his departure now official, Semedo will assess options for the next chapter of his career. Meanwhile, Wolves continue their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign with recruitment efforts ongoing. No names have yet been linked publicly with the right-back role, but the club is expected to move swiftly in the transfer market. 📸 Naomi Baker - 2025 Getty Images
