The new Cupra Terramar certainly stands out from the sea of family SUVs on the market thanks to its distinctive, sporty looks. But it's also good to drive, has a roomy interior, a lengthy standard kit list and can be yours for less than £300 per month with this deal we found via the Auto Express Find A Car service. Carwow Leasey, through Auto Express, is currently offering the Cupra Terramar on a four-year lease with an annual allowance of 10,000 miles per year for only £292 per month – much less than we'd expect for a newly launched mid-size SUV with that mileage limit. The £3,809 initial payment is substantial, but you get more than your money's worth with this deal.
Even though this is an entry-level V1 model, the Terramar still comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, a 12.9-inch touchscreen, sat-nav, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, sports seats up front, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control and plenty of other driver-assistance tech.
An electric tailgate also comes as standard, and behind it is a generous 540 litres of boot capacity, which can be expanded to 630 litres by sliding the rear bench forward. The cabin feels more driver focused than those of other family SUVs, featuring lots of Cupra's signature copper detailing, while the 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine delivers 148bhp, and is paired with a slick seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Reform MP James McMurdock resigns whip over allegations of business impropriety
A Reform UK MP has resigned the party whip pending an investigation into allegations of business impropriety before he was elected, the party's chief whip has said. James McMurdock will sit as an independent while a probe takes place over the allegations, which he said are likely to emerge in the press this weekend. Reform's chief whip Lee Anderson said: 'At Reform UK we take these matters very seriously and James has agreed to cooperate in full with any investigation.' It leaves Nigel Farage's insurgent right-wing party again with just four MPs, with Reform previously suspended Rupert Lowe for criticising the arch-Brexiteer's leadership. The suspension comes just one year after Mr McMurdock entered parliament almost by accident, having agreed to stand in the general election as a so-called paper candidate. He won his South Basildon and East Thurrock seat by 98 votes, having given up a high-paying job at a financial firm in the City of London to become an MP. The 38-year-old, who has previously worked for Barclays Capital, Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, specialising in energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing, ran his campaign with only the help of his parents.

A Reform MP has left the party amid allegations surrounding his 'business propriety during the pandemic'. James McMurdock, the MP for South Basildon and East Thurrock, will sit as an independent in the Commons while the claims are investigated. Lee Anderson, Reform's chief whip, said: 'I have today received a call from James McMurdock who has advised me, as chief whip, that he has removed the party whip from himself pending the outcome of an investigation into allegations that are likely to be published by a national newspaper. 'The allegations relate to business propriety during the pandemic and before he became an MP. 'At Reform UK we take these matters very seriously and James has agreed to cooperate in full with any investigation. 'We will not be commenting further at this moment.'
