Seven of the eight runners come in here on the back of a win. Emily Love is on a five-timer and has looked good when taking care of her rivals at Killarney. Jack Kennedy has chosen to ride Timeless Treaty, and even though he has only won two lower-level races, connections must be expecting a big performance from the son of Harzand.
Avondale should be taken seriously here as his form took a boost with the seven-length second Persian Daughter going on to win by thirteen lengths on her next start. However, the Willie Mullins pair of the well-bred Vicar Street, and
LA NOTE VERTE
look to be the ones who can take a big step forward here. Vicar Street was a good winner of his maiden under Anna McGuinness, and there will be a lot more to come from him, but the double green of La Note Verte has looked a massive improver of late.
She won her latest by twelve lengths, beating Fairbank, and had all her rivals in trouble turning in for home. She can run or sit behind a pace, and if she settles a bit more with experience, she will prove hard to beat.

On ability alone, King Of Kingsfield should have the winning of this. But for all his talent, his attitude doesn't match it. From fourteen starts on the track, he has only managed one win, which was in a maiden hurdle. Yes, he has been used as a pacemaker in some of his races, but when he has been handed what looked like an easy opportunity on paper, he has failed to follow through with his effort.
He may be the clear class angle, but he has to be taken on, especially on a track that will demand a lot from him in a finish. With that, a chance is taken that
JET SETTING JIM
can get a lot more luck in running than when third in this last season. He warmed up for this with a second to Wille Mullins's Runcock at Tipperary, and with him now having his eye back in over fences, he may well be able to get the better of King Of Kingsfield.
My Great Mate, who was last seen behind The Yellow Clay in the Grade 2 Navan Novice Hurdle, would be a danger should fences improve him, and if his stablemate Lisnagar Fortune can finally sort out his jumping, then he has more than enough ability to mix it with the best of these. But that is a big if.

Thenandnow finished ahead of
AMELIA EARHART
when both made their racecourse debut at Leopardstown this month, but the feeling is that Almila Earhart will come on considerably from that experience. She was the strong favourite on the day and showed considerable greenness before running on strongly in the closing stages.
There may not be a lot between Thenandnow and Amelia Earhart, but the daughter of Camelot can take a big step forward here. Paddy Twomey's Black Caviar Gold needs to be monitored in the betting, given the Twomey yard can ready one on their racecourse debut.

This is not one of the strongest maidens you will see this week, and most with experience do not set a high standard. However, the twice-raced
COLLECTING COIN
was headed late on in a Curragh maiden and has since been gelded.
He still has more to offer and will not need to improve much from his latest run to get off the mark. Gran Habano wasn't far behind Collecting Coin at the Curragh, and should he leave his latest poor run behind him, he may be the one to follow home the selection.

Mississippi River has been running well of late. Jack Cleary takes a valuable three pounds off, and he looks sure to be in the mix. Slieve Binnian who got the better of Mississippi River is in the form of his life and despite an eight-pound rise, he will be bang there on a track that looks sure to suit his closing style. Evening Blossom was a good winner at Killarney and can take his seven-pound rise in his stride, but
ORANDI
may be the one to side with here.
Since returning to Tony Martin last year, this seven-year-old gelding has hit new heights. He started this season with a win in the Irish Lincolnshire and backed that up with a near miss in the Lincoln at Doncaster. He hasn't been seen since, and looks like one that has been laid out for this.
The draw is not ideal for his hold-up style, but granted a smooth passage under his inexperienced but talented claimer, he is sure to be fighting out the finish. Norwalk Havoc looks set for a big run, and at bigger prices, Bear Profit and Power Under Me can go well.

A wide-open handicap with cases to be made for many. Alpha Capture ran twice at last season's Galway Festival with no luck and will have to leave a flat performance behind him if he is to make it third time lucky at Ballybrit. Course and distance winner Imposing Supreme is two pounds higher than his win here last season, and ran well on his comeback from 301 days on the sidelines.
He looks sure to be primed for this and is set to go close. Another with a course and distance win to his name is Rhythm King. He was flat on his comeback, but like others, he will have been laid out of this; however, he would prefer a bit of give underfoot.
However, a chance is taken that the consistent
DARK VIPER
can continue his good form here. He ran another big race last week at Naas when beaten a head, and even with a four-pound rise, this can set up for him to close late on.

Speckled Meadow, a course winner when trained by Terence O'Brien, this eight-year-old runs this course well and has an each-way chance in a wide-open affair. Si Senior has improved of late and looks sure to go well off top weight. Lexington Dash would be interesting if support were to come for him on the back of a 268-day break.
Loingseoir has been running well of late and can go close, but a chance is taken on
HELIOGABALUS
. He has yet to get off the mark in ten starts, but he has been threatening to rectify that in recent runs. He comes here on the back of a staying on third at Killarney, and with the application of first time blinker, this relatively unexposed gelding can go well at a price.

Galway Festival day six: Betting tips, odds, and race rundown

WE are entering the home stretch of the 2025 Galway Festival, and what a ride we have been on so far. Stamina has been tested on and off the course, and punters will be raring to go over the final two days. The Listed Boylesports Handicap Hurdle is the highlight of the day, but is supported by some highly competitive action. 🏇 Quick Galway Festival day six tips Win singles and each way bets with odds from the 2:02 BoyleSports Best Odds Guaranteed Maiden Hurdle: Harry's Legacy (e/w) 2:37 BoyleSports Galway Tribes Handicap Hurdle: Last Kingdom 3:12 Listed BoyleSports Handicap Hurdle: Teed Up 3:52 Salthill Hotel Irish EBF Mares INH Flat Race: Barra Rua 4:27 Whiriskey Refrigeration Irish EBF Maiden: Action 5:00 Bathshack Maiden: Stay In The Game 5:35 Ardilaun Hotel Handicap: Dragon Of Malta 6:05 McDonogh Captial Investments Handicap: Luker's Tipple 2:02 BoyleSports Best Odds Guaranteed Maiden Hurdle (4yo+) - 2m1f Willie Mullins has won this race three times, and he is represented by the hurdling newcomer Night Moon. An eight-length winner on the flat on his final start for David Maranane, the son of Sea The Stars is with the right man to make a success of his jumping career. He is going to be popular in the market, and if he takes well to hurdling, he will be bang there. Figaruso is another who comes in here after a win on the flat. He was a winner of a Tramore claimer, and now, in the care of Gavin Cromwell, he brings some hurling experience to the table. He would have a chance if the switch of yard prompts improvement. However, HARRY'S LEGACY , who ran a massive race on the flat here on Wednesday, is given another chance over hurdles here. He was running well since the turn of the year over hurdles, bumping into the likes of Honesty Policy, Redemption Day, and Joueur Masque. You have to forgive him for his below-par run in Cork last month, but if he can run to the form he showed previously, he is in with a big shout here. 2024 Winner: Jackfinbar J : Danny Mullins T : Willie Mullins Odds : 11/4Fav Our pick: HARRY'S LEGACY Trainer: Ross O'Sullivan Jockey: Darragh O'Keeffe Form: 320-20 Age: 7 Weight: 11st 12lb ➡️ 2:37 BoyleSports Galway Tribes Handicap Hurdle (4yo+) - 2m1f Messerschmitt won his maiden hurdle here in October, and that form took a boost with the fourth Bacchanalian going on to win a four-year-old Grade 3. He was last seen finishing fifth in a four-year-old Grade 2 at Fairyhouse, and with Jack Kennedy booked to take the ride, a big performance is expected. Autumn Twist comes in here after winning his maiden and novice hurdle, and with confidence sky high, it will be interesting to see how he lies in the market on handicap debut. A Law Of Her Own is back on the same mark that saw her win over course and distance in 2023, and she comes in here with some decent form over fences. She chased home the Galway Plate second Jesse Evans here in September, and if she can show that form back over the smaller obstacles, she can go well. The four-year-old LAST KINGDOM has been getting the hang of things over hurdles, and even though he was turned over as the odds-on favourite at Ballinrobe, he should be more than capable of winning off his current mark. This track looks sure to suit him with the stiff run in looking right up his street. 2024 Winner: Volantis J : Keith Donoghue T : Ross O'Sullivan Odds : 4/1Fav Our pick: LAST KINGDOM Trainer: Willie Mullins Jockey: Mark Walsh Form: 771-22 Age: 4 Weight: 11st 5lb ➡️ 3:12 Listed BoyleSports Handicap Hurdle (4yo+) - 2m6½f Chart Topper went on a tour of the UK as Willie Mullins went in search of the UK trainers' championship and came away with one win from three runs. He returned to Ireland, where he took sixth place at this level at the Punchestown Festival. Even though he is not the choice of Paul Townend, the son of Walk In The Park, is feared. Paul Townend is on the so far disappointing Maughreen, and she needs a drastic turnaround in form to be competitive here. At a price, Mousey Brown can run well after showing a sign that a return to form may be just around the corner after staying on third at Uttoxeter. However, a chance is taken that TEED UP can back up his win on the flat here on Wednesday back over hurdles. He clipped heels in the drip and was lucky not to come down, but somehow he managed to gather himself and run down the well back Shoda in the shadows of the post. That was a huge effort, but given that he backed up a head second with a win back here in 2023, shows that he more than capable of making it back-to-back wins at his beloved Galway under seven pound claimer, Conor Clarke. 2024 Winner: The Wallpark J: Sam Ewing T: Gordon Elliott Odds: 14/1 Our pick: TEED UP Trainer: Emmet Mullins Jockey: Conor Clarke (7lb) Form: 1/1/0- Age: 8 Weight: 10st 13lb ➡️ 3:52 Salthill Hotel Irish EBF Mares INH Flat Race (4yo+) - 2m1f Willie Mullins has won four of the last five runnings of this race and comes here with Some Pretender looking to add her name to the list of winners. She looks set to be sent off the favourite, and may well take a lot of beating. However, the twice-raced BARRA RUA can go well here. She was second on debut and followed that with a fourth in a ladies' rides bumper at Roscommon. She wasn't given the best of rides that day, and now with John Gleeson back on board, this daughter of Camelot can make good use of her experience. She has been staying on well in the closing stages of her races, and the stiff nature of Galway looks set to suit. Pimlico Racing unleash the point-to-point runner-up Something Fabulous. He's been running at a decent level in the UK when trained by John & Sean Quinn, and if he can replicate his UK form on his first start in Ireland, he looks set to go close. He has dropped two pounds for his last run, and if he can show the same form here, he has a live each-way chance. Zaraahmando comes in here on the back of a double and comes here eight pounds higher than his last win, but this in-form gelding is given huge respect. The one who loves it here and is a former winner of this race is DRAGON OF MALTA . He won this race off a five-pound higher mark, and after two shocking runs at the start of the season, the son of Dragon Pulse has found his feet once again. This looks to have been the plan for a long time, and he looks set to show his turn form once again. 2024 Winner: Imposing Supreme J: Gavin Ryan T: Thomas Gibney Odds: 4/1Fav Our pick: DRANGON OF MALTA Trainer: P F O'Donnell Jockey: Wayne Hassett (3lb) Form: 259-64 Age: 8 Weight: 9st 9lb ➡️ 6:05 McDonogh Capital Investments Handicap (4yo+) - 1m4f Pillar Of Hope and Thatwilldoso come in here on the back of convincing wins and top the list of main challengers to the selection LUKER'S TIPPLE . Andrew Kinirons is no stranger to success at the Galway Festival and has a good chance of adding to his record with Luker's Tipple. The son of Starspangledbanner threatened to become a decent juvenile hurdler, but he doesn't seem the same after taking a heavy fall when looking as if he was going to win a listed hurdle at Musselburgh. His last run on the flat saw him go down fighting to Mick Collins at Belewstown, and before that, he was a fine sixth to top mare Jetara. He makes his handicap debut, and he should be well up to winning a race of this nature despite being drawn out wide. ‘Unreal' Willie Mullins horse will never run again after ‘spectacular' win, £220,000 earnings and Grade 1 victory

AN 'unreal' Willie Mullins horse will never run again after a 'spectacular' win and £220,000 earnings. Grade 1 scorer Kilcruit has officially been retired from racing aged ten. A top-level performer at this best, the world looked at this hooves after a jaw-dropping Dublin Racing Festival bumper win in 2021. Kilcruit breezed past rivals hard held and commentator Jerry Hannon said: "Patrick Mullins will surely never ride an easier winner than this." One punter said at the time: "That was the best bumper performance I have ever seen." The breathtaking victory was described elsewhere as 'spectacular' and Kilcruit was labelled a horse 'of the highest class'. He would go onto finish a half-length second to Sir Gerhard in the Champion Bumper before claiming the Champion Flat Race - his sole Grade 1 - at Punchestown Festival. However, in scenes nobody saw coming, Kilcruit's hurdling debut could not have gone worse around eight months later. Sent off a stunning 1-14 for a maiden at Cork, he was pumped ten lengths by Henry de Bromhead's 6-1 chance Largy Debut Nevertheless, Kilcruit went to the 2022 Cheltenham Festival as a maiden hurdle winner only to get firmly put in his place by Constitution Hill in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle. Most read in Horse Racing He was sent chasing the following season and picked up a couple of wins but fell short at graded level. In fact his last victory was a Punchestown novice handicap chase win in April 2023, when he sauntered home by 15 lengths. He was pulled up and found to be bleeding from both nostrils on his final run at Fairyhouse in April this year. All in all Kilcruit won six of his 20 career races and earned in total £221,834. He was a 151-rated chaser and 145 over hurdles - but he never quite lived up to the billing of his bumper days.
