The University of Delhi (DU) has announced a special provision for students who were unable to appear for their semester examinations in May due to disruptions caused by the 'situation during Operation Sindoor."
In an official statement, Professor Gurpreet Singh Tuteja, Controller of Examinations, informed that the university is offering a chance for affected undergraduate and postgraduate students from the 2024–25 academic year to reappear for the exams they missed. The re-examinations are scheduled for May 13, 14, and 15.
'All concerned students of undergraduate and postgraduate for academic year 2024-25 are hereby informed that the last date of submission of Google form on the following link for the Examination is 10.07.2025 (Thursday) till 11.59 pm," the university stated in its notification issued on Tuesday.
The official notification includes the registration link for the Google Form: https://forms.gle/CDjjjQmxcxm2bBPR7. The university has also clarified that this form is strictly meant for students who genuinely missed their exams during the original schedule. It is mandatory for such students to submit proper documentary evidence proving they were unable to reach Delhi at that time.
Professor Tuteja further stressed that this initiative ensures no student is academically penalised for circumstances beyond their control, while also safeguarding the integrity of the examination process by requiring valid supporting documentation.
As per the notification, exams will only be rescheduled for students whose applications and documents are verified. The revised dates for these re-examinations will be announced later by the examination branch. The move is being seen as a supportive step for students whose academic performance was impacted due to unavoidable external factors.
