'Magic' robot vacuum cleaner drops below £100 in early Prime Day deal
For many people, vacuuming is one of the most dreaded household tasks. Just as the home is looking nice and clean, more dust and dirt seem to appear, and the vacuum needs to be brought out once again.
However, a robot vacuum can solve all those issues, as it works entirely independently to keep floors clear of mess. Once a luxury that was unaffordable for normal people, robot vacuums have become much more accessible in recent years - and Amazon's Prime Day deals are a great place to shop for a discounted model.
Indeed, in an Early Prime Day deal, shoppers can grab a eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £99.99 down from £199.99 - a whopping 50% off - and it looks to be a great buy for effortless home maintenance. The robot vacuum works by itself to clean pet hair, crumbs and dust with strong suction, detangles hair automatically to reduce maintenance and runs quietly so as to not cause a disturbance.
Plus, users can connect it to their phone via Bluetooth to schedule cleaning times and start spot cleaning whenever needed. At just 81mm thick, it can easily clean under sofas, beds and cabinets, so no spot gets missed.
If this robot vacuum isn't quite what shoppers are after, they could try the Shark Matrix Plus 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop which is £399.99 from Shark. The two-in-one vacuum and mop combo keeps floors clean and shiny, and gets into edges and corners with blasts of air, too.
Alternatively, there's the Hoover Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £199 down from £249 direct from Hoover, a powerful bit of kit that is suitable for both carpets and hard floors, has powerful suction and even returns to the base to recharge when the battery runs low all by itself.
However, the eufy G50 Robot Vacuum has a promising 4.4-star rating from nearly 10,000 reviews on Amazon. One shopper said: "Overall extremely happy with my purchase and have been recommending this machine to all my friends, saving me at least 30 minutes every day not having to clean and does a better job than I would!"
Another said: "I would really recommend this device, you will never look back. The fact is this device has transformed my cleaning routine. I do not think I will ever use a traditional hoover again and I'm already considering getting another one for upstairs."
A third added: "It's just brilliant. It's got good suction, it hasn't got stuck anywhere, it was easy to set up and the app is great."
However, some did flag some limitations. One shopper said: "The only downside to date is it periodically loses sight of its base station or WiFi and just goes offline."
Another said: "Its trajectory across the floor seemed a little random. It did the same area a few times and I had to reposition it to get it to do areas it missed. But am generally impressed so far."
However, for a great deal on a time-saving robot vacuum, Amazon's Early Prime Day deal on the eufy G50 Robot Vacuum Cleaner seems worth a look.

Amazon makes major change for Prime Day
With the news now out that Amazon Prime Day is set to last twice as long this year, Prime members can expect to see deals for four whole days - from the 8th to the 11th July. That's not the only huge change to this year's sale though, as Amazon has announced it will be introducing ' Today's Big Deals.' What could this mean for you? If you're currently a Prime member gearing up for the sales, you could some better-than-usual deals on selected big brand products in home, tech, beauty, parenting and more. Of course, Amazon hasn't officially told members what this will entail but we expect this to work similar to the classic lightning deals we're used to seeing at these events. Why Amazon has chosen to extend its Prime Day sale isn't entirely clear, with the retail giant simply saying two days 'wasn't long enough'. However, with more and more retailers launching their own summer sales around Prime Day - many of which last a week or more - Amazon could be looking to compete with its biggest rivals. Amazon Prime Day is now in its tenth year, with the first deals event launching in July 2015. Since then, Amazon has introduced a second Prime Day event, which runs for two days in October and a Spring Sale that takes place earlier in the year around March. Is Prime Day still worth it? With Amazon now running three exclusive deals events throughout the year on top of its Black Friday sale, enthusiasm for spending is drying up. Add to that a growing number of retailers such as John Lewis , Argos and Ninja all holding their own summer sales and its easy to see why Amazon is trying to come up with bigger and better ways to grab consumers attentions.

'Intelligent' hair straightener 'better than ghd' worth £140 now under £35
This coconut oil-infused straightener is so popular it is said to "beat all the well known brands hands down." Hair care is an important factor for many beauty enthusiasts. That usually means investing in the best tools that prevent heat damage and keep our locks smooth and shiny. For many, a straightener is the ultimate tool that can do it all, with ghd's products being arguably the most popular. Although, we have spotted one on Amazon that is said to be "better than" the professional brand. Remington's Advanced Coconut Therapy Hair Straightener is so popular that reviews say it "beats all the well known brands hands down". Worth £139.99, it can currently be bought in an early Prime Day deal for just £34.90, saving 75 percent and over £100 off the RRP. To help keep hair soft and shiny with each use, the floating ceramic plates feature micro-conditioners that have been infused with coconut oil and UV filters, keeping tresses protected from any frizz caused by too much heat. Its salon-style design means it comes complete with an ultra-fast 15-second heat up time and five digital temperature controls up to 230C, while the rounded barrel design with a swivel cord makes it easy to create either a sleek straight or bouncy curls look. There's also an integrated sensor that kicks in when the plates come into contact with the hair, ensuring they never overheat, while plate lock and auto-shut off function offers peace of mind and safety. There are many other tools on the market designed to keep hair healthy and protected from heat damage, with the Revlon Smoothstay Coconut Oil Infused Straightener offering a suitable alternative for £30 at Tesco. Meanwhile, for another deal worth bagging, we have spotted Argos stocking the Revamp Ultra X Shine Hair Straightener for just £40 that is usually worth £100. Considering Remington's status for hair tools, it's no surprise to hear that this coconut-infused straightener has been singled out as an ' Amazon Choice' product, with a glowing 4.4 rating based on over 1,000 reviews from happy purchasers. What can I say I have used GHDs for the last 20 years? My last pair broke yesterday so after some research I thought I would try these Remington's. I can't believe how straight my hair is gone, not even my GHD's got it this straight. Amazing straighteners on would recommend to anybody, I have thick course hair and look how smooth it looks." Someone else said: "Game changer. Beats all the other well known brands hands down. When it comes to straighteners over the years I've had ghd, Babyliss, TreSemme, Nicky Clarke and tried many friends ones. This year during lockdown I had a slight moment (a £394 moment) and decided to even buy the Dyson corrale straightener because I'm a sucker for advertising and believe everything I see and hear. Well that went back!!!! Beauty deal of the week Looking to get that salon blowdry from home? Then look no further than Amazon's limited deal on the Remington Ionic Dry Hair Dryer. Worth £56.99, the online delivery giant is offering this styling tool for just £19.99, reducing it by a staggering 65 percent and £37 overall. Offering a stylish, sleek black design, it uses a power 2200W motor that delivers fast, efficient styling, with three heat and two speed settings having shoppers saying that it provides "super versatile" styling options. Another key feature beauty buffs will love is the ionic conditioning that provides multiple benefits such as a faster drying time, all while leaving hair smoother, shinier and less damaged. It also comes complete with a concentrator attachment that can help achieve that smooth, sleek effect, while the diffuser will be suitable for anyone looking to enhance their curls. With praise for its "fast drying" ability that also leaves hair "frizz free", it's understandable why it averages a 4.6 rating, as one shopper said: "Absolutely love this Remington hair dryer! The 2200W power ensures fast drying, and the ionic conditioning leaves my hair smooth and frizz-free. "The multiple heat and speed settings make it super versatile, and the cool shot locks in my style. The included diffuser and concentrator are perfect for different styling needs. Highly recommend for professional-quality results at home!" Shop Amazon's limited 65 per cent off deal on the Remington Ionic Dry Hair Dryer now. "So I stumbled upon the Remington coconut therapy ceramic straightener. What a transformation. I have fine, sort of wavy 55 year old hair which is shoulder length and as soon as I go out in rain, sun, wind or humidity I get a messed up fuzz. This has transformed my life! No frizz days since. Thank you Remington. Where has this been all my life." Another shopper simply remarked: "Salon hair feel 100 percent. Straightens hair really well, hair feels smooth and silky after use." Not everyone has been keen on the design of hair straightener, as one three-star review read: "The product is certainly hot enough, but the buttons are in such an awkward place it's impossible not to accidentally turn them off whilst using them! They also aren't ideal for curling and they're quite stiff and you will get lines from the rotation unlike smoother irons." Although, someone else who was a fan of the tool wrote: "This hair straightener is FAN-TA-STIC !! My hair never looked better and it doesn't pull hair! Gives effect wow after styling."
