Kartik Aaryan's untitled next with Sreeleela delayed; Anurag Basu's film pushed to 2026

Time of India2 days ago
Kartik Aaryan
's untitled film with
Sreeleela
has been the talk of the town right from the word go. Cinephiles have been eagerly waiting for its release; however, it appears they will have to wait a little longer. According to the latest reports,
Kartik Aaryan's film with
Anurag Basu
and Sreeleela has been delayed to early 2026 due to incomplete shooting. His film with
Ananya Panday
will now release on Diwali 2025 instead.
Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film has been delayed
According to a Mid-Day report, Kartik Aaryan's upcoming untitled film, directed by Anurag Basu and co-starring South Indian actress Sreeleela, was earlier planned to release during the Diwali 2025 season. The film is said to be a musical romantic drama, and expectations were high because it would bring together Kartik's popularity with Anurag Basu's unique storytelling style. This would have been Kartik's major festive release after the success of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', which was released on Diwali 2024.
However, the release of this film has now been delayed. According to reports, a large part of the film is still not shot. The team of the film shared that a 'considerable portion' of the movie remains to be completed, and due to this, they are unable to meet the initial Diwali 2025 deadline. As a result, the makers have now shifted their focus to releasing the film in early 2026. No exact date has been finalized yet, but the team wants to ensure that the film is made properly without rushing through it.

The key reason behind the delay
One of the key reasons for this delay is reportedly Kartik Aaryan's tight schedule. He is currently shooting another film, 'Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri', which stars Ananya Panday opposite him. This movie is being shot first and is expected to be completed by the end of July 2025. Only after wrapping up this project will Kartik resume work on the Anurag Basu film. This has further pushed the timeline of the untitled film's production.
Kartik Aaryan's strategy
Kartik Aaryan is also planning his film releases strategically. After the success of his Diwali release 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' in 2024, he wants to keep up his streak of festive releases. Since Anurag Basu's film cannot be ready till Diwali 2025, Kartik now plans to release 'Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri' during Diwali 2025 instead. This is how he will still have a big festival release that year and then follow it up with the musical romantic drama in early 2026.
This back-to-back plan is part of his effort to maintain a strong presence at the box office during important festive periods.

"Daddy's watching": Ethan Klein claims he's not done suing creators, and that it's 'only a matter of time'

(Image via @H3H3 Productions/YouTube) Ethan Klein is once again turning heads, this time, not for a controversial video or podcast segment, but for a chilling promise. The H3H3 Productions host appears to be ramping up his legal campaign against content creators he believes have crossed the line, warning that more lawsuits are on the horizon. His message? Clear as ever: 'It's only a matter of time.' Ethan Klein is expected to file more lawsuits in the near future On the heels of his recent copyright lawsuits against Twitch streamers Denims, Kaceytron, Frogan, and SeanDaBlack, Ethan Klein is making it known that the legal offensive has only just begun. In a recent clip, Klein doubled down on his stance, emphasizing that he's following a set "order of operations" and that others who think they've escaped scrutiny should think again. Klein stated with conviction: 'I made some promises early on, and I'm going to fulfill them all. There's an order. If you thought I was joking, I hope those three copyright lawsuits put that thought to rest.' Ethan Klein isn't slowing down after the initial wave of lawsuits This legal wave began after several Twitch creators reportedly restreamed Klein's 'Content Nuke' video targeting political streamer HasanAbi. The video sparked an even larger feud when creators like Denims and Kaceytron allegedly used it to fuel their own content without adding substantial or transformative commentary. Klein has argued this was a direct hit on his video's traffic and profitability, calling the broadcasts a violation of fair use. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like An engineer reveals: One simple trick to get internet without a subscription Techno Mag Learn More Undo He's especially vocal about what he views as a coordinated effort to dilute his message by spreading it through streamers sympathetic to Hasan. But things didn't stop there. Just a week later, HasanAbi associate Sean 'SeanDaBlack' Wiggs was added to the growing list of defendants. Now, Klein's message is loud and clear: the current lawsuits are only the beginning. Ethan Klein's Lawsuit is Insane... More names? More fire? The internet reacts But Klein didn't stop at those already facing lawsuits. In a pointed moment during a recent livestream, he called out other creators by name, some of whom haven't yet been formally hit with legal paperwork. One notable mention: Noah Samsen, a long-time critic of Klein. 'I didn't forget about you, sc*mbag. Daddy's watching.' Klein also hinted that he's watching the legal clock closely, referencing the statute of limitations. Countdown to copyright? Klein's statements have sparked renewed debate about what counts as 'fair use' in online content. Supporters of the YouTuber argue that protecting original content from reuploaders is fair game. Critics, however, say that lawsuits targeting fellow creators, especially over commentary, could set a dangerous precedent. Amaal Mallik clarifies he did not speak against any religion as he shared girlfriend broke-up with him because he's a Muslim: ‘It's a secular mindset'

Amaal Mallik recently revealed that he was in a relationship with a girl for many years but they broke up because her family had an issue with his religion and his music career both. He had said, 'I was in a relationship for around five years. she called me and told me she was getting married. She said, 'If you come now, I'll elope with you.' But I told her, 'If your parents can't accept my religion and respect my career, then I wish you the best.'" He had further said in this interview with Siddharth Kannan, 'People think I'm a Muslim, but my father (Daboo Malik) is a Muslim and my mother is a Saraswat Brahmin Hindu." He revealed that his girlfriend was a Jaat and their break-up was a harsh time for him. He had also said, 'There's no 'I' of Islam in me. I don't follow the religion to the T. I am the least religious guy. I believe in Karma. We neutrally respect every religion. " However, Amaal has now clarified his stance as his statements are being misunderstood. He took to his social media and wrote, 'For every one coming up with lovely articles & headlines about how I have spoken against a community you all are completely wrong 😒 I spoke about my choices as an individual born to a Muslim father & a Hindu mother. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Struggling With Belly Fat?
