Orlando Bloom praises Bryce Dallas Howard as 'mother number one' in gushing interview after she bonded with his daughter Daisy amid shock claims of 'tension' with Katy Perry
The Hollywood star, 48, called the actress, 44, 'mother number one' after she taught Daisy, four, who he shares with his wife Katy Perry, to paint on the set of Deep Cover.
Appearing on Heart Breakfast with Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Wednesday, Bryce told the hosts: 'I hope it is okay me sharing this? Orlando's beautiful family was there and I love his daughter. I like to watercolour...'
Orlando then interrupted as he gushed: 'She taught Daisy to watercolour. By the way, most people sit at the side of the set and are scrolling the gram or anything.
'And she has set up this beautiful table... She's literally doing these beautiful watercolours, and Daisy would come over and go "what are you doing?"

'Daisy is amazing,' added Bryce as Orlando continued: 'And this angel she sets her up and she's got this watercolour.
'And literally I went home and bought her a watercolour set, and she's been doing water painting, and she loves it now.'
Bryce added: 'No but Daisy is marvellous,' as Orlando paid her the ultimate compliment as he said: 'Mother number one over there.'
'You're so sweet,' replied Bryce, 'but honestly it was one of the great joys of getting to do this was getting to hang out with Daisy. It was just the best'.
The pair's radio appearance comes after Katy was spotted looking downcast while out in Sydney earlier this week amid 'tensions' in her relationship with Orlando.
In exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com, the singer, 40, was seen visiting Luna Park with Daisy, as she dressed in a bear onesie with round, floppy ears, which she paired with gray-and-orange trainers.
Despite her kooky attire, she appeared downcast and sombre amid the fresh rumors of strain with the Pirates Of The Caribbean star.
Katy's poorly performing album is reportedly causing 'tension' in her relationship with fiancé Orlando.

The singer's seventh studio album, 143, was released in September 2024, and received a largely negative response from fans as well as critics, who claimed the record sounds 'generated through AI.'
'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album. It made her very stressed,' a source told People on Monday.
'Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension,' the insider added of the Lord of The Rings star.
Another source shared, 'She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It's put stress on their relationship.'

The couple first met in January 2016. They had a brief breakup in 2017, but later reconciled by March 2018.
The pair got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in August 2020.
Orlando also has a 13-year-old son named Flynn with his ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, 42.
