Joe Swash shares 'constant battle' he has with Stacey amid marriage concerns
Loose Women star Stacey Solomon and her husband Joe Swash have given a realistic perspective on their home life, admitting they have a "constant battle" with their kids. Former EastEnders actor Joe, 43, and Stacey, 35, have six children between them.
Together, they have Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two. Stacey has two children from previous relationships, Leighton, 12, and Zachary, 17.
Joe also has a 17-year-old son, Harry, who he had with his ex Emma Sophocleous. The couple separated when their son was very young, with Joe going to court to see his son.
But parenting has taken on new difficulties in recent years, with Stacey and Joe forced to put their feet down when it comes to the relatable issue of screen time. They now call using the phone "a privilege", making sure Rex only has an hour at the weekend to play games if he behaves at school and completes his chores.
In a new interview with Huffington Post, Joe explained his and Stacey's "battle" with their son and his weekly reward of screen time. He said: "But even that, me and Stacey begrudgingly let him have that.
"It's difficult, it's a constant battle ... And even then, when he's playing the games, we're constantly watching what he's doing, what games he's playing. It's something that concerns us, you know?"
Joe explained that he feels it's a balancing act - with their older children, he knows that access to a phone is a big part of their social life. But he still wants to keep tabs on their usage, to make sure they're safe.
Although the couple are on the same page when it comes to using the internet, Joe admits there's "no real right or wrong". He added that every parent is "muddling through" and "making mistakes".
The couple are always ones to keep it real, and with their new reality show Stacey & Joe: Full House, fans are getting a look into life behind closed doors for the close-knit family. Their series has given a realistic look into the ups and downs of family life, and how they all navigate their busy careers and home.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2022, revealed they've turned to marriage therapy to keep their relationship on track. A source recently told OK! that Stacey and Joe may have underplayed how big a step having cameras around for every tricky moment would be.
The source said: "They underestimated how difficult it was going to be doing this reality show and having cameras around, and watching it back hasn't been the easiest thing. The pressures of all the kids and work while balancing their relationship has been hard, they won't deny that."
The source also claims they are proud of opening up about having couple's therapy on-air. 'They're going to therapy because they love each other and would never want to get to the point where they don't want to be together anymore. Yes, there have been ups and downs and it's been quite a rollercoaster - but they know there's no shame in therapy and both realise it's the best thing for their relationship and to iron out their issues.'

Coronation Street confirms unexpected flashback twist as the past is revisited
There's a huge mystery in upcoming Coronation Street episodes. Why did Gary Windass (Mikey North) end up in a coma in hospital after apparently vanishing into thin air? And why does the woman who's with him insist his name is Chesney? And does Gary's current predicament have anything to do with the night of Aadi (Adam Hussain)'s party, when Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and Summer (Harriet Bibby) became convinced they'd seen a dead body? Maria (Samia Longchambon) has been going frantic with worry, not having heard from Gary since he headed off wanting to put some space between them after a series of arguments. The arguments were mainly about Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty). Maria was furious that Gary seemed to be spending so much time with the woman whose husband killed Craig Tinker (Colson Smith). She didn't trust Lou's motives and thought she was exploiting Gary's kindness. And the more Maria objected to Gary seeing Lou, the more he pushed back. Since he left Maria has hardly heard from him, and when he doesn't get in touch on Liam (Charlie Wrenshall)'s birthday she's convinced something bad has happened to him. She reports him as a missing person. Nina overhears Maria saying that there haven't been any transactions on Gary's bank account since June 23 – which was the night of the party. She tells Summer what she's learned and worries that it was Gary they saw that night when they were high on drugs. Summer reminds her that there were no reports of an assault and when they went back to look there was no trace of Gary or anyone else. Then we see Gary, unconscious in hospital. A nurse assures his visitor that 'Chesney' is making progress. More Trending And when DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) contacts the hospital about the unidentified coma patient who's been admitted, a staff member says that the person on their ward is called Chesney. EastEnders' Samantha Womack 'warned' about boyfriend
EastEnders star Samantha Womack has been 'warned' by fans in the street about her boyfriend Oliver Farnworth, due to his role as serial killer John Sugden in Emmerdale EastEnders' Samantha Womack has revealed that she gets stopped in the street and warned about her Emmerdale actor boyfriend, Oliver Farnworth, who plays the role of a serial killer in the ITV soap. Samantha, 52, is best known for playing the fan-favourite role of Ronnie Mitchell in EastEnders, but was sadly killed off on New Year's Day in 2017 along with her sister Roxy. They both died in a dramatic swimming pool accident at Ronnie's wedding to Jack Branning. Samantha's partner Oliver is now involved in his own soap scandal as he has committed several murders in the Dales as character John Sugden. The former Ronnie Mitchel actress has since revealed that she has been 'warned' about him as she gave an insight into their relationship. She told The Sun: 'I do get warned about him. But Oli is actually so strict about confidentiality. So he comes back every few days, and he won't tell me what's happening with anything. He's like 'I just can't let you know,' and I'll say 'come on, I'm not going to tell anybody.'' Samantha continued: 'But I really think this is one of his favourite jobs to date. I visited the set and it's beautiful. They have rolling hills and cute cottages. It's very different to EastEnders. And what is funny is he gets a lot of attention when he goes up north, but when we go down south everyone knows me from EastEnders so it changes where we go.' The couple, who have been dating since 2019 after co-starring in 'The Girl On The Train' on London's West End stage, now reportedly live happily in Spain. Samantha recently admitted that it was not her decision to leave EastEnders and that she felt 'rejected' by the boss, Sean O'Connor. She told The Mail that she didn't 'understand' what happened and she felt like she was losing 'a family' when she left. The soap star said: 'It was really hard for us because it wasn't in our hands. We didn't make the decision to go. I don't really understand what happened, one producer was leaving and another was coming in, I don't know what went on." Adding: "At the time it felt like bereavement, it felt like losing a family member. It was like losing family and losing stability. But the thing that was the most painful - and it really was painful - was that me and Rita loved feeling like we belonged there.' Since leaving the soap, Samantha has battled breast cancer after being diagnosed in August 2022. Her diagnosis came about during a routine check-up, despite her not having any symptoms. She luckily found the disease early and was declared cancer-free in December that same year.
