Nicola Peltz appears strained as she steps out with husband Brooklyn Beckham in sun-soaked St Tropez amid ongoing family feud

Daily Mail18-07-2025
Nicola Peltz appeared strained as she stepped out with husband Brooklyn Beckham in St Tropez on Friday amid their ongoing feud with his famous parents.
The billionaire heiress, 30, held onto the 26-year-old aspiring chef's hand and while he flashed a smile she looked stoney faced.
Nicola showcased her tiny waist in a chic black co-ord which featured a fur trimmed cropped top and figure-hugging peddle pushers.
She slipped her feet into towering platforms and accessorised with statment silver earrings and a chic handbag.
Meanwhile Brooklyn was also dressed for the sunny weather in white shirt and tan trousers with a baseball cap, that was worn backwards, and sandals.
The couple, who wed in April 2022, are in the midst of an escalating rift with his parents David and Victoria Beckham.
It comes after Nicola doubled down as she declared him 'her everything' on Wednesday.
Nicola took to her Instagram Stories with snaps of the pair embracing during their sun-soaked getaway on board her billionaire father's yacht in St Tropez.
Nicola and Brooklyn only had eyes for each other as she wrapped her arms around his neck while he pulled her in close.
She wore a bikini top and skimpy white shorts while her husband shielded his eyes behind shades and a baseball cap and cheekily squeezed her bottom.
Nicola captioned the post: 'My everything @BrooklynBeckhamPeltz' with Brooklyn chef later resharing it with his followers.
Meanwhile Victoria continued to put on a brave face on Tuesday as she plugged a new product from her beauty brand amid her bitter ongoing family feud.
Victoria brushed aside her woes and got back to business as she promoted her Colour Wash liquid blush on her Instagram page.
Sitting in a room with a white towel wrapped around her head and donning a silk bathrobe, Victoria showed off her radiant complexion with a light and dewy makeup palette.

In the tutorial video, the beauty applied the product, which retails for £44, on her cheeks and lips as she explained that she is 'obsessed with it going into summer'.
'I can get that cute little flushed look whilst literally spending my whole summer in the shade,' she told her followers.
The fashion designer appeared in good spirits as she talked through the new product with her fans amid her recent heartbreak over her rift with her eldest son.
Last week, it was revealed that Brooklyn and Nicola's Instagram accounts no longer follow his younger brothers Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22, in the latest family drama.
However, Brooklyn's friends told MailOnline on Friday that Cruz and Romeo have actually blocked them on the social media platform.
This would make sense given that Brooklyn and Nicola are still following Victoria, 51 and David, 50.
Cruz and Romeo were still following Brooklyn and Nicola earlier this week but appeared to take action after Brooklyn posted a birthday tribute to sister Harper, sharing a family photo without them in it - which Nicola reposted.
There was much speculation whether Brooklyn would reach out to Harper on her 14th birthday on Thursday, but despite him doing so, it seems all is not well in the camp.
Brooklyn's birthday tribute to Harper marked his first public interaction with his family since he paid tribute to his grandmother Sandra on June 26, despite remaining silent and shunning his father's 50th birthday earlier that same month.
Sources close to the family have told MailOnline of their fears that Brooklyn and his wife Nicola have also distanced themselves from Harper after they failed to visit her when they flew into London in May to film an advert for French-Italian clothing brand Moncler just over a mile from the family home in Holland Park.
David and Victoria had no idea whether Brooklyn, who Harper has idolised since she was a little girl, would message her privately or publicly on Instagram because they have no communication with him.

‘So embarrassing' rant Love Island fans as they say couple ‘will split in days'

LOVE Island fans are convinced that it's just a matter of days before Lauren and Harrison call it quits after telling clue. The footballer, 22, was embroiled in a controversial love triangle with Lauren and Toni for most of his villa stay, breaking both their hearts along the way. 3 3 After Lauren was dumped, Harrison did some soul-searching and decided to leave to give things a go with her and quit the show. Shortly after Harrison reunited with Lauren and told her that he "wanted her to be his girlfriend" as they hugged in emotional scenes. On last night's finale, host Maya Jama quizzed the pair on whether they were finally boyfriend and girlfriend. Harrison admitted they were still dating but not official yet. When quizzed on their relationship status, Harrison told Maya: "Not yet, we're exclusive. I left the villa to be with Lauren. We are getting on really, really well. "We've both met each other's families. Going really, really well. "Not boyfriend and girlfriend yet but soon." Lauren then looked at Sophie and seemed unimpressed by Harrison's response. But viewers were left scratching their heads after Harrison vowed to make Lauren his girlfriend after - but now appeared to be "backtracking". One wrote: "I just went back and watched their little reunion. He straight up says 'And I want you to be my girlfriend'. I was under the impression the last two weeks that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Now he's essentially backtracking and saying they're not even exclusive? Where do these two even stand?" A second posted: "Lmao this man is NOT going to commit to her. If he does it'll be out of pressure and it'll implode spectacularly shortly after. You absolutely do not meet someone you like enough to be in a relationship with only to run back to someone else then go back and forwards and act like a f*****g lunatic." Watch Love Island's Harrison roll his eyes and fake clap after ex Toni makes savage dig about him in live final A third commented: "Harrison says a lot of things, he then walks a lot of them back almost as soon as he's said them, we saw him do it for about six weeks on the show, he's not a serious person." "His reaction to Toni and Cach tonight was very telling. i don't think they'll last or even get to that point of being committed to Lauren," a fourth said. After leaving the villa, Harrison said his family would play a big part in whether he and Lauren progresses. Speaking on the Love Island: Morning After podcast, Harrison said: "I feel like we want to get to know each other a little bit more away from the villa. "Obviously the villa's a very secluded environment it's different on the outside so it's nice to get to know each other, go on a few dates without cameras and microphones." Looking cosy beside Lauren, he continued: "For me it was a big thing about her meeting my family before I made anything official. But I left the villa for Lauren and I do think a lot of her. I feel like we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend soon, no doubt." An extra spanner in the works is the fact Harrison is based in Miami, and he isn't sure if he wants to return to the UK permanently just yet. 3

From tattoos to orgasms, the weirdest shows at Edinburgh Fringe

Being a jaded comedy critic – is there any other kind? – I thought I'd seen it all. But this year's Edinburgh Fringe is shaping up to be one of the strangest in history. One burlesque performer is getting tattooed in every gig; a cabaret artist is testing the boundaries of good taste by having an unsimulated orgasm live on stage each night; and in a dark crypt, at the unholy hour of 1.50am, a comedian will gulp down a medically inadvisable amount of cheese. You might well be asking yourself: why? Cynics will roll their eyes and mutter about attention-seeking luvvies, but I reckon that cynicism about this kind of stunt is misplaced. Nobody's doing it half-heartedly: there are far less arduous ways to garner attention or cash. Call me a fool, but I think there's something glorious about performers getting on stage – in front of a live, unpredictable audience – to do something truly outrageous, whether to surprise and provoke, or prove a serious point, or simply for a laugh. We live in an increasingly timid age, an era of online 'content creators', obsessed with keeping everything they say and do palatable and on-brand. The weirdest extremes of the Fringe – as exemplified below by the five most daring gimmicks on offer this year – feel like a valuable antidote to that. It's the last bastion of daring, messy, risk-taking weirdness. Long may it continue. 1. The Alternative Edinburgh Tattoo Forget the military jamboree, the only Edinburgh tattoo I want to see is whatever Rosa Garland will be inked with tonight. 'I get tattooed on stage primarily because it's fun,' the cult burlesque artist tells me, 'but to me it also says a lot about the relationship between vulnerability and change.' We're frightened of doing anything irreversible to our bodies; watching someone mark themselves onstage – as Garland does in her show Primal Bog – has a certain frisson. Part of the thrill of live performance is that no two shows are ever the same; the fact that each night involves Garland getting a new tattoo makes that un-ignorable. In a quixotic act of dedication, she even got inked in her pre-Fringe previews, arriving in Edinburgh with a tattoo-covered leg. 2. A Wedding for Sale There's no part of human life that somebody won't put on stage to sell a few tickets. Linus Karp and Joseph Martin, the real-life couple behind this summer's Fringe comedy The Fit Prince, seem to be poking fun at that notion with their wedding-day plans. The pair tell me that they will be tying the knot later this month at the Pleasance Grand, 'alongside our 750 closest friends, which can include you if you get a ticket'. It is, apparently, the first time tickets have been sold for a real wedding ceremony at the Fringe. You could see the stunt as a witty, Warholesque joke about the idea that anything can be turned into art – and any kind of art can be sold. If you're not convinced, you have to admit it's a clever way to cover the cost of a honeymoon. 3. Dramatic Climax The climax of Emma May Gibson's Fringe show is, well, a climax; the Australian cabaret star, who performs as 'Betty Grumble', brings herself to orgasm on stage. It's an attempt to deal with 'heavy matter in joyful ways', she says. Her show has a zany title – Betty Grumble's Enemies of Grooviness Eat Sh!t – but draws on serious personal experiences, including domestic violence and a court case. Written down, it might sound like a candidate for Pseud's Corner ('With handheld instruments filled with rice, the audience becomes part of the act,' the press release promises of the orgasmic moment) but the most original shows often do. In 2016, I was sceptical about going to watch a comedian run on a treadmill for an hour while talking about sexual abuse and toxic masculinity, but that show – Monkey See, Monkey Do – turned out to be both hilarious and chilling, and rightly earned an Edinburgh Comedy Award for its star, a pre-Baby Reindeer Richard Gadd. Traumatic experiences can feel disorientating, even surreal; creating an equally surreal format through which to explore them – the Gadd or Gibson approach – might be the most appropriate response. 4. Too Much Cheese Last year, I wandered into Mark Dean Quinn's 1.50am cheese feast by accident. The show – which returns for a victory-lap this year under the ungainly new title Oh No There's No More Cheese (But Then There's Lots of Cheese?) – could not have been less hungry for attention: no flyers, no posters, no press release, not even a listing in the Fringe programme. It begins with a few jokes, by way of an amuse bouche, before Quinn spends more than an hour slowly eating pre-sliced cheese. It would be silly to compare this to Samuel Beckett. Nonetheless, I found myself thinking about Quinn's cheese-binge while watching Gary Oldman scoff down banana after banana in Krapp's Last Tape earlier this year. (I fretfully remembered half-reading a BBC News article headlined 'Can eating more than six bananas at once kill you?' This was a matinee; Oldman had another play's worth of bananas to eat just a few hours later!) Like Garland and Gibson's stunts, Quinn's hammers home that you're watching something real: you can fake blood or tears on stage, but a man eating cheese is undeniably a man eating cheese. Quinn once had a military veteran in his audience who had PTSD and hadn't laughed since returning from a war zone, but was reduced to helpless giggles. 'Moments like that are why I eat cheese,' he wrote in a charming essay. Quinn won 2024's Malcolm Hardee award for Comic Originality, named after the late king of ill-advised Fringe stunts. Hardee – who once drove a lawnmower through the side of a tent where a rival comic was performing and straight onto the stage while stark naked – would surely have admired Quinn's punk spirit. 5. The Gorilla Was Unavailable for Comment The most raucous crowd I've ever seen in Edinburgh was at a show in which almost nothing happened. On August 18, that show will return for its 16th year. A Young Man Dressed as a Gorilla Dressed as an Old Man Sits Rocking in a Rocking Chair for Fifty-Six Minutes and Then Leaves – to give it its full title – does precisely what it says on the tin. The show is free, unticketed, and always draws a huge crowd. The pointlessness is the point. Someone has had a very silly idea, and executed it with single-minded dedication, just for the sake of doing something stupid. The identity of the chap behind it is a closely guarded Fringe secret. I tracked down an email address for him, which gave his name as 'Liam El Goog' – try it backwards – but my request for an explanation received only this deadpan reply: 'I am afraid the team (including the young man) are all too deep into rehearsals to produce a quote at this stage.' Ho-ho. There's a Pythonesque absurdism to the charade. Whoever 'Liam' is, he seems to be channelling Graham Chapman, who was once invited to speak at the Oxford Union and turned up dressed as a carrot. 'He just stood there, literally speechless, for 20 minutes, smiling beatifically,' as John Cleese recalled at Chapman's funeral. It was 'the only time in world history that a totally silent man has succeeded in inciting a riot'. Another line in Cleese's eulogy for Chapman captures what it is that ultimately makes these shocking, silly antics worthwhile: 'The thing about shock… is not that it upsets some people [but] that it gives others a momentary joy of liberation, as we realised in that instant that the social rules that constrict our lives so terribly are not actually very important.'
