Weekly Days of our Lives Spoilers June 2-6: John's Final Moments, Jack & Jennifer Return
The week will start off with tragedy when Marlena (Deidre Hall) stays by John's (the late Drake Hogestyn) side until his final moments. The rest of the week will be filled with grief and memories as Salem learns about John's death.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, mid-week, Paul (Christopher Sean) and Andrew (Colton Little) will decide to move forward with their wedding plans. The couple got engaged late last year, and even though Paul's dad won't be there to celebrate their big day, he'll be there in spirit as his son begins his happily ever after.
READ THIS: Will Sami (Alison Sweeney) Return to Say Goodbye to John on DAYS?
Later in the week, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will return to Salem. They haven't been home since Thanksgiving when Doug (the late Bill Hayes) passed away, and now they'll be back to remember another legendary Salemite.
Amidst all the heartbreak, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) May be on the receiving end of some good news… or is it? Her manuscript for her spicy romance novel is about to be passed around thanks to a sly Alex (Robert Scott Wilson)… and against her wishes.
And no one's forgotten about Bo (Peter Reckell, who revealed why Salem feels like home). On Monday, Bo will reunite with his late son Zack, played by Brandon Butler. Will Zack welcome his dad to the other side, or assure him it's not his time yet?

He notes she now believes in Johnny's innocence, which makes her even more nervous about possibly sending him to prison. She also worries about Chanel as a suspect in the same crime. Chanel and Johnny's Place: Chanel helps Johnny get ready for his day in court. She asks how he is feeling, and he tears up saying he's scared. They review the evidence that will be used against him, but Chanel says all of Salem wanted to plug his father. Johnny worries he's going to be convicted despite there not being proof. Chanel thinks Johnny will be acquitted but knows Belle will come after her next because of the video from the memory card. Doug hates he broke Julie's heart and trust and then tries to leave. Julie holds him up and asks if she will help her put on her grandmother's necklace. Doug takes the necklace and clasps it around Julie's neck. He says it looks lovely on her and Julie says it makes her feel closer to her mother and grandmother. Doug says he gets it as one of his most prized possessions is a pair of cufflinks from his grandpa Robert. Just then, Julie tells Doug to stay put and runs in the other room. Julie finds Doug's pocket watch and kisses it. When she returns, she hands it to young Douglas and says it belonged to his other grandfather. Doug thanks Julie for her kindness. Doug is so very grateful and Julie says she knows it's what Doug would have wanted. Marlena and John's Penthouse: Belle asks Marlena about EJ's hypnosis session. She hesitates because of doctor/patient confidentiality but Belle says he already told her about it. She wonders if trauma is actually what's keeping him from remembering the shooting. Marlena isn't certain. Belle apologizes as she doesn't want to stress her mother out. She asks about the grief they are both experiencing about John and wonders if they talk about it enough with everything going on. Belle wants her mother to know she never forgets it but doesn't bring it up as she wants to respect her as a psychiatrist. Gregg Wallace: I'm not a 'sex pest'
Gregg Wallace has insisted he is 'not a sex pest'. The 60-year-old former MasterChef host was sacked by the BBC after the investigation into his alleged inappropriate behaviour was released, with 45 out of 83 allegations substantiated, including claims of inappropriate sexual language, humour, and one reported incident of "unwelcome physical contact". However, Gregg has insisted he is 'not a groper, a sex pest or a flasher'. He told The Sun: 'I'm not saying I'm not guilty of stuff, but so much has been perceived incorrectly. Things that really hurt me and hurt my family. 'People think I've been taking my trousers down and exposing myself – I'm not a flasher. 'People think I'm a sex pest. I am not. I am not sexist or a misogynist or any of it. There never were any allegations of sexual harassment.' Gregg insisted his actions had been 'perceived incorrectly' and said they were the result of learned behaviour and workplace culture. Gregg also defended his fellow former MasterChef star John Torode, who was also sacked. The report upheld an allegation of an "extremely offensive racist term being used in the workplace", with John, 60, later identifying himself as the individual alleged to have used racist language in 2018 or 2019, "for the sake of transparency" in an Instagram post. On July 15, the corporation announced that John's contract would not be renewed. Torode denied using a racist word and said he has "no recollection" of using racist language. Gregg said: 'He's not a racist.' Meanwhile, the BBC recently announced that after "careful consideration and consultation with the contestants", it will air John and Gregg's last series of MasterChef - which was filmed in 2024 - on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from August 6, to respect the cooks who gave "so much to the process".
