Once you are inside it, Sam's hood will automatically deploy. It will signal protection from the aging effects of Timefall. Your cargo containers, too, begin to repair instantly.
The shelter provides more than just some rain cover. With it, your canteen will automatically refill. It is also crucial for some stamina management during gruelling treks.
