Could Kostoulas be Brighton's next big star?
Former Brighton forward Warren Aspinall is hopeful 18-year-old Charalampos Kostoulas "is going to be the next star" for the club.
The teenager, who signed from Olympiakos earlier this month, only made his senior debut for the Greek side in 2024 but has seen his career develop quickly.

He follows Brighton's renowned recruitment style of buying and developing young talent and turning a profit later down the line.
"I wish him all the best because he has only just turned 18 and he has got everything going for him," said Aspinall on BBC Radio Sussex's Albion Unlimited podcast.
"He will give Brighton different attacking options because he can play on the left, right or as a number 10.
"We might know what he is going to do for Brighton but the opposition managers won't always know where he is going to play. So for the first five or 10 minutes of a game they might still be thinking where is he playing.

"His career has happened very quickly for him so it is just about keeping his feet on the ground and seeing what he can do.
"He is a big lad. I hope he is going to be the next star for Brighton.
"He has the best people around him at the club because it is like one big family."

Newcastle, meanwhile, is intent on strengthening its forward line for the new season. After missing out on Bryan Mbeumo, Pedro has been identified as a target. Pedro isn't just a goal threat in and around the opposition penalty area. Indeed, the 23-year-old is extremely versatile and is comfortable playing a number of different roles across the forward line. Pedro operated as a centre forward for Brighton last season, but also as something of a number 10 behind a focal point up front. This is surely why Chelsea and Newcastle both want Pedro. Both teams already boast top-level centre forwards and so Pedro would be expected to fill in around the likes of Alexander Isak and Delap with Nicolas Jackson also a factor at Stamford Bridge. (Photo by Vince Mignott/) As a modern forward, Pedro ticks a lot of boxes. He is comfortable with the ball at his feet. He can beat an opponent in the dribble. He can finish inside the area, and also outside of it. Pedro is position-less in the way he interprets his role in Brighton's fluid frontline and this makes him a good fit for countless teams at the elite level. Brighton reportedly wants more than £50m for its prize asset, reflecting the value of the Brazilian to the south coast outfit. The Seagulls have a reputation for being one of the smartest clubs in the Premier League and so Pedro will only leave the Amex Stadium if it suits the selling club. Brighton will need to find a replacement. Chelsea and Newcastle would both give Pedro a platform to prove his quality in the Champions League next season. The Brazilian is certainly good enough for this level and might even be targeting a starting place for his national team at the 2026 World Cup. This could be a pivotal summer in Pedro's career.

Thierry Neuville slams Hankook tyres at WRC Acropolis Rally
Thierry Neuville has said the World Rally Championship's Hankook control tyres are 'not on the level' they should be after suffering a series of problems during Acropolis Rally Greece. The reigning world champion cut a frustrated figure on Friday after suffering punctures in back-to-back stages, resulting in the Belgian dropping from the rally lead to eighth. Advertisement Neuville wasn't the only driver to suffer tyre problems: all of the Rally1 field, except his Hyundai team-mate Adrien Fourmaux, either picked up tyre damage or punctures while navigating through the rough gravel stages. To make matters worse for Neuville, a slow puncture to his right rear cost him time in Saturday's stage eight before going on to pick up tyre damage on the left rear in the next stage. Despite the problems, Neuville managed to climb ahead of Toyota's Kalle Rovanpera to seventh overall. Neuville was still frustrated though, telling the end of stage nine reporter: "The tyres are not on the level. If you see why we puncture, it's just insane. 'Playing on that level with such a product is not possible. We get punished all the time for nothing, it's not fun. It's just luck that decides. We keep on going and make up some ground.' I think he has had more than his fair share of issues. Of course we are not complacent about it and in motorsport things can always be better, and so we will continue to push but we knew this was going to be challenging. 'Moving forward we have developments that we are working on closely with the manufacturers as well as the FIA, and our plan is definitely not to stand still. But at the same time we need to find the appropriate time to bring those. We have multiple things in the process of development. 'Delaminations is something that we didn't like to see for sure. There are different types of tyre problems, there is the basic impact or basic debeading from a lateral impact. The delaminations are a combination of the extreme heat we are seeing here and also the very abrasive surfaces that are compounding that problem. This is something we will look seriously at to avoid those. 'As far as the issues we have seen here, that to a certain extent are a little bit unavoidable and to a certain extent expected, we will look at the data and see how we can come back stronger next year.'
